Episode 1
A super gorgeous surgeon was in Lacaya on a medical mission. He was finding it hard to get a taxi from the airport.
It so happens, a business minded girl was at the airport as well after getting a consignment of Chinese wine for the General.
Anyway, she offered the man, who she knew was Chinese as she was Chinese too. She told him for $100 she will drive him where he wanted to go.
At that moment the doctor who happens to be Gu Yunzheng was urgently needed at the hospital as his assistant was holding the fort for him as they operated on a fairly important patient. So he gave Su Wei An the $100 dollars bill but then Su Wei An had a change of mind because she recognise Gu Yunzheng. He was once her professor.
Gu Yunzheng told her to drive, faster on her motorcyle which was full of her merchandise.
Business minded as usual, she said that high speed would mean extra. He agreed.
They got to Hope Hospital. Gu Yunzheng operated successfully on the patient.
Meanwhile, Su Wei An got a call from her best friend who told her off for being in Lacaya, Bahamas when she should be in Paris studying for her degree.
Anyway, her friend, Jiang Mu Ying, announced that she was at the Lacaya airport to visit her. While they were chatting, there was a multiple pile up witnessed by Su Wei An. She went to help and saw that one of the victims needed immediate attention. So she took a screw driver and wine from her motorcart. She poured alcohol on the head of the man and used a screw driver to drill a whole which shocked her growing audience. They thought she was a maniac killing the man.
She saved the man who was taken to hospital. But poor Su Wei An lost her motorcycle and all the wine for the General. Then she got arrested. She was told to get used to the jail because she was likely to spend 3 months in there.
She bribed the police to lend her a phone. She then call Muying and quickly explained her predicament. She told Muying to go to the Hope Hospital and speak to Dr Gu about a patient with an emergency drill hole on his head.
Muying went to the hospital and met Fang Ming Fang who knew about the case. Muying explained about what happened to the kind samaritan of the man.
Dr Gu went with Muying. He was shocked that the girl who drove him was the one who drilled the hole.
Anyway, he was able to convince authorities that the girl saved the man with the emergency treatment.
Finally, Su Wei An was able to go. Dr Gu finally recognised her as a student but he was annoyed because she did not her degee.
Wei An and Muying went back to her place but it was ransacked by the General’s men. The General was put out that he did not have the wine he wanted for his soiree. So Wei An became a wanted woman with nowhere to go.
Muying remembered that Hope Hospital wanted interpreters.
Episode 2
At first Dr Gu refused to hire Wei An as an interpreter but then a doctor came to give him an update on a patient in French. Dr Gu and Mingfang did not understand what was said but then Wei An easily translated the information.
Mingfang was so impressed and so was Dr Gu, though, he did not admit it. Anyway, Wei An and Muying were hired effective immediately which included board and lodging.
Dr Gu did not trust Wei An at all and he found that he was not wrong because he spotted her secretly taking prescriptive drug from the pharmacy. He confronted her and found that it was for HIV.
Wei An young friend had HiV and was unlikely that he would be taken to the hospital or his mother buying him medication.
Dr Gu told her to bring the boy to the hospital which she did.
The General’s men finally found Wei An at the Friendship Hospital. They wanted to take Wei An but Dr Gu intervened and put a scalpel against the next of the leader of the soldiers. He said that they don’t have jurisdiction in a Chinese hospital. Taking a Chinese citizen was against China.
The men knew enough not to tangle with the Chinese so Wei An was released but they warned her not to leave the Chinese compound.
