Episode 1
The first episode is pure Hwang Jung Eum and I am loving it. Love her. Hope she is being offered another drama right now.
Anyway, Hwang Jung Eum plays Seo Hyeon Joo who was a confirmed bachelorette, a spinster.
She was not even in her teens when she told her parents and anyone else who would listen that she will never going to get married, ever.
This started when as a very young girl, Hyeon Joo fell into the water and almost drowned.
She was in a coma for a while and when she came to, she was speaking like an adult and the very first thing she told her worried parents was that she was never going to get married after having been made broken-hearted in three lifetimes by the same man.
And she made good of this promise much to her parents regret and consternation.
She had had boyfriends over the years but they all made her unhappy which only made her more resolved in her decision.
But there was a man who almost rocked her determination. He loved her and they even decided to hold an engagement party. But it was not meant to be.
Because in that party, in the absence of her intended groom and his family, Hyeon Joo said that she was going to be with the person she loves and understand her the most and that was herself. She decided that she will not live for a husband or children but for her self.
She started talking about a Millenium flower that comes every thousand years…
There was a man who heard her and said mysteriously that at last, he found her.
There was also Do Gyeom who just finished his military service and who clearly adores her the most and supported her in all her schemes.
Four years later…
Hyeon Joo was a successful but rather forceful webtoon producer but she really wanted to become a webtoon illustrator.
Her boss, In Gyo Seok, promised her 5 years ago to become the best webtoon producer and in five years’ time, he will make her into an illustrator.
She counted the years, months until there were only 6 days left before the 5 years is up which will culminate into realising her dream.
She was so glad that 5 of the webtoons she was in charge of were in the top ten.
Surprisingly, she was fired rather than promoted and her dream as a webtoon illustrator was gone in a flash!
Do Gyeom, their top artist, was the only one who stood by her.
There was some mystery, someone really wanted her fired.
She was in the elevator after she was just fired when it suddenly stopped. There was another person with her who collapsed right in front of her.
He was Hwang Ji Woo, CEO of a pharmaceutical company.
She gave him a mouth to mouth resuscitation and suddenly memories of the three lifetimes failed romances overwhelmed her.
Loving it. The two male leads are gorgeous and the pacing is fast and furious.

Episode 2
OMG!
If you are new to Kdrama, there is no better place or rather drama to start with than this one. It has everything and more. Hilarious. Dramatic. Mysterious. And the cast is well assembled.
Although, I would have prepared that Hyeon Joo had longer hair.
I must say the second male lead, Seo Ji Woon who plays Park Do Gyeum is absolutely adorable. He has loads of chemistry with his Noona. They are so adorable together! Yap I have used adorable again because they really are.
Noona, Hyeon Joo, does have good chemistry with Hwang JI Woo but Park Do Geum is so adorable, sorry really cute. LOL
Anyway, Hyeon Joo and Hwang Ji Woo got rescued from the broken down lift.
Park Do Gyeum was so worried about his noona. He was rather suspicious and a little jealous of Hwang Ji Woo he couldn’t get noona to leave with him fast enough.
With the tumultuous events of the day, Park Do Gyeum took noona drinking. They got talking about her ex of five years ago.
Do Gyeum asked her why she broke it off with her ex.
Noona said that it was she who was the problem. She can’t seem to love anyone with all her heart.
An eternal romance starts with yourself.

Do Gyeum told her that she was good at everything and she can certainly fix herself.
Anyway, she asked Do Gyeum not to tell her mother that she had been fired. Because as soon as her mother and father know she will be sent to endless blind dates.
Unfortunately, her mother found out and she did manage for Do Gyeum to agree to attend at least ten blind dates in return for Do Gyeum not having to pay yet the $50,000 she borrowed from her parents to buy her own house.
Her first blind date was the perennially gorgeous Lee Jong-hyuk who plays a doctor. The date did not go well because the doctor wanted a housemaid, carer, child-bearer/childminder, filial, thrifty, and self-sacrificing wife.
She was rescued by Do Gyeum who came as her toy-boy who was pining for her. He said she dumped him to find an even younger lover. He was shocked to see the doctor being so old, he was practically one foot in the grave. This scene was hilarious and yes, Do Gyeum was particularly adorable.
Because Seo Hyeon Joo had been fired, Do Gyeum resigned from the company and landed himself into having to pay the exit penalty.
To help him, Hyeon Joo invited Do Gyeum to move into her extra bedroom in her house.
He flirted at her saying, “Noona, you trust me too much.” So cute.
Meanwhile, Hwang Ji Woo was looking at his musical globe which was playing Plaisir D’Amour.
Hyeon Joo was having a dream set in Joseon period, where she was doing water colouring under a cherry tree. A gust of wind blew her drawing into the branch of the tree. No matter how high she jumped, she cannot reached her painting until a hand got it for her. We can just about see the lower part of his face which looked like Hwang Ji Woon.
The man was apparently the son of the Vice Prime Minister who came to town to study for his exam.
They became inseparable and he wrote her calligraphy which says:
A tie of a married couple is like a millenium flower. So it is the most precious.
Hyeon Joo asked the man if it was for her. They looked lovingly at each other but alas he had to leave but she gave him an embroidered hanky with the Millenium flower.
Hyeon Joo woke from her dream thinking it was so realistic. She then drew the flower from memory and asked her online followers if they knew what flower it was.
Hwang Ji Woo saw her post and smiled mysteriously.
Hyeon Joo had been headhunted by Sunwoo Webtoon Planning Team. She asked if she could bring a webtoon illustrator with her which was gladly and immediately complied with.
Hyeon Joo was on her second blind date. She was waiting for an average looking man to turn up but instead a very handsome man appeared. He was so handsome, men and women on their blind dates stared at him.
Hyeon Joo told him that he was on the wrong table, she was waiting for someone else. He said that it was a misunderstanding, he was really her blind date.
It was Hwang Ji Woo. He introduced himself as the CEO of Sunwoo Pharmaceutical and Sunwoo Webtoon, her new boss.
They were getting along fine when the adorable Do Gyeom appeared in his cute gangsta outfit. Despite Hyeon Joo signalling for him to stop, he ignored her until he finally noticed that her date was Hwang Ji Woo, the man on the elevator.
They ended up going to a picnic at the Han River which ended in the most hilarious way where security guards warned Hwang JI Woo and Do Gyeom to behave properly in a public place. They were just too handsome to be into each other and should find a nice girl.
This was a laugh out loud moment because the men got trapped inside the tent due to its broken zip.
Hyeon Joo can’t open the tent for them so she left to find a knife but when she got there the security guards and aghast onlookers were already there.
Suddenly Hyeon Joo was suspecting that the rumour of Hwang Ji Woo being gay was true. She heard that he was popular with the ladies but he had no time for them.
Anyway, she was a bit worried about Do Gyeom.
Do Gyeom, however, seemed to have bonded with Hwang Ji Woo as he moved in the latter’s mauve mansion by the hill, which slightly shocked her.
In the periphery was a side story. It was about Kim Sun Hee and her daughter, Han Seo Yoon.
Kim Seon Yee looked like a university classmate of Hwang Ji Woo’s doppelganger father. Seon Yee had a massive crush on Ji Woo senior and regretted not ending up with him.
She is now trying to match up her daughter to Hwang Ji Woo and it seemed she will not take no for an answer this time.
Han Seo Yoon is Hwang Ji Woo’s private secretary.
This drama is just addictive.
Episode 3
Loving it so much… Perfect love triangle.
Do Gyeom is seemingly happy to move in with Hwang Ji Woo which worried Seo Hyeon Joo to the point that she agreed to pretend as Do Gyeom’s girlfriend after she told Do Gyeom that there are whisperings that Hwang Ji Woo was not into women.
I have to say that Park Do Gyeom is stealing all the scenes he was in with his utter adorableness. You can’t help but root for him to get Seo Hyeon Joo in the end. They do have the cutest likable chemistry.
But having said that Seo Hyeon Joo and Hwang Ji Woo were not bad either but they are still on the aloof side, need more development.
Anyway, to take Seo Hyeon Joo away from Hwang Ji Woo, Park Do Gyeom proposed that they should go to places where they can get inspiration for his new webtoon.
They decided to visit Mt Hanbaek which got to Hwang Ji Woo, who suddenly had an attack of deja vu of what happened in the 1970s.
Suddenly he was his father and he was in love with Min Ju (Seo Hyeon Joo). Their class was on a school trip to Mr Hanbaek when Min Ju and a guy can’t be found. Ji Woo Senior was told that Min Ju was out with the guy, who was planning to confess to her.
Ji Woo Senior did not waste any time and went to look for them and found them together in a cabin. The guy was a 70s version of Park Do Gyeom.
This was almost the same scenario as he found Seo Hyeon Joo with Do Gyeom at present time. For some reason, Seo Hyeon Joo was rather wary and almost frightened of Hwang Ji Woo and told him that Do Gyeom was her boyfriend starting that day.
Hwang Ji Woo was gutted thinking that he may have come too late in this lifetime as well.
Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Do Gyeom with the help of his friend managed to retrieve the deleted photos in Ji Woo’s computer.
The photos where of Seo Hyeon Joo and some with Do Gyeom with her. The photos were taken over the years.
He showed this to Seo Hyeon Joo and they realised that everything that happened to her in the last few months had something to do with Ji Woo.
Ji Woo saw though his hidden camera what Do Gyeom had found out in his computer and decided that the only thing to do was to speak with Seo Hyeon Joo.
Meanwhile, Kim Seon Hee was still very much in love with Ji Woo Senior and now obsessing with Ji Woo.
Though she wanted her daughter to marry young Ji Woo, Kim Seon Hee is much more interested in Ji Woo than what’s is normal as a potential son-in-law. She promised herself that he will not get away this time.
She told her daughter that she will propose the marriage of her daughter and Ji Woo to his mother.
So watchable. Loving it.
Episode 4
It is getting more complicated and mysterious.
Ji Woo confessed to Seo Hyeon Joo everything that he had done that he was instrumental in getting her fired because he wanted her by his side. He couldn’t be without her any longer.
Seo Hyeon Joo was not impressed and told him that she had a boyfriend already, Do Gyeom.
Meanwhile, Do Gyeom was getting more proprietorial towards Seo Hyeon Joo.
Seo Hyeon Joo’s mother even saw Do Gyeom kissing Seo Hyeon Joo on the cheeks and went home immediately to tell her husband the shocking development between their daughter and Forster son. It was so hilarious this scene when the husband said that she might be blowing things out of proportion. So his wife demonstrated kissing him on the cheek. He said that was nothing and then kissed her also on the cheek. Then the mother said that she thought that there was a bit of tongue action with the kiss….LMAO.
Ji Woo took the newly created SunWoo Webtoon Planning team to dinner.
Ji Woo ended up getting drunk which was instigated by Seo Hyeon Joo. But in the end she secretly helped him home.
Do Gyeom met them outside the mauve mansion and carried JI Woo to bed but he left the rest to Seo Hyeon Joo, taking off JI Woo’s jacket and tie and tucking him to bed.
Do Gyeom was not very happy about this so Seo Hyeon Joo told him that they need to have a talk.
They ended up in the playground. Do Gyeom finally confessed to her. He said that looking at her makes his heart flutter. He likes his noona very much like a man likes a woman.
By this time, JI Woo who got up from his bed had also wandered down to the playground and overheard the confession.
I am really torn. Seo Hyeon Joo has so much chemistry with the adorable Do Gyeom but JI Woo had been trying to make up for the hurts she suffered in their relationship over three lifetimes.
The epilogue of this episode was Ji Woo excitedly went to a shop to a shop to have his customised design of a music box to be made.
The shop keeper commented that the design was beautiful, his girlfriend must have been sn outstanding woman.
But the music box ended up in the hands of Kim Seon Hee. Intriguing.
Episode 5
Seo Ji Hoo is a very charismatic actor. When his baby face seriously confessed that his heart flutters every time he looks at Seo Hyeon Joon, my own heart melted. I want them to get together. He loves and adores her.
Someone overheard Seo Hyeon Joon and Ji Woo talking about the night before when Ji Woo got drunk and Seo Hyeon Jin had to put him to bed and take off his clothes.
Suddenly, it went viral the shenanigans at Sunwoo Pharmaceutical that Seo Hyeon Joon was in a relationship with the CEO who created a tailor-made position for her. Everyone was gossiping that she got a job for sleeping with the boss.
This got to Ji Woo and arranged for his secretary to post anonymously that he was seen meeting a lover, a man, somewhere.
This, of course, invalidated the rumour that Seo Hyeon Joon was sleeping with the boss who was into men.
The really hilarious part of this episode was with the parents again. They are so great. The two invited adorable Do Gyeom to dinner to quiz him about his real relationship with their daughter was so rib-tickling.
For dinner, the mother made brood chicken in ginseng they told Do Gyeom that this Baeksuk recipe is only made by mother in law for their son-in-law. Do Gyeom who was getting flustered was save by a call by Seo Hyeon Joon who said that she was on her way at her mother’s and in fact, she was at the doorstep.
The three cleared the table and hid in the bathroom. They were all crouching inside the bathtub with Do Gyeom still holding onto a chicken leg and Father was armed with a frying pan.
Do Gyeom can’t find anyone and went to the bathroom to make a poo. The faces of the three were just hilarious.
Seo Hyeon Joon arranged a team-building away day. She made sure that it would be a day where Ji Woo would be busy with meetings so he won’t tag along with them.
But she was wrong, he canceled all his meetings to go with them.
The team-building was really eventful for Seo Hyeon Joon by trying to separate Ji Woo from Do Gyeom as they seemed to fight and bicker all the time.
This got so bad when a dodgeball game between Ji Woo and Do Gyeom ended hitting Seo Hyeon Joon in the forehead instead and flattened her in the ground.
Anyway, she got over it and for their last activity, they had to make a wish which will be granted in they find the key that opens the wish box.
Everyone made a wish and the person who found it was JI Woo. He found it by the lighthouse. But the door of the lighthouse suddenly shut, locking him in.
He was panicking and collapsed on the ground. Thankfully Seo Hyeon Joon found him. She gave him a mouth to mouth resuscitation which brought back memories just like those she had when she first gave him a mouth to mouth resuscitation.
Ji Woo came too but they could not get out of the lighthouse as the door was shut again so Seo Hyeon Joon helped him to climb the lighthouse and into the light.
Poor Do Gyeom could see them looking friendly.
Do Gyeom was further perturbed when he read the wish made by Ji Woo to Seo Hyeon Joon.
Episode 6
This episode is about Seo Hyeon Joon trying to kiss Ji Woo again to find out more about the memories. But at the last minute, she would chicken out.
Do Gyeom went looking for Ji Woo and gave him a right hook.
It turned out the contentious wish was perverting on Seo Hyeon Joon according to Do Gyeom.
The wish was that Ji Woo wanted Seo Hyeon Joon to spend the night with him at a hotel. 🙂
Anyway, Seo Hyeon Joon tried to ignore both the men because she was just so busy micro-managing the fledgling Sunwoo Webtoon.
One potential signee as an illustrator was absolutely bonkers about her tarantula pet spider that Seo Hyeon Joon had to climb a tree to retrieve it.
One of her friends called at that time wanting to borrow $10,000 from her. Poor Seo Hyeon Joon got so distracted she fell off the tree and yet she soldiered on and gave the tarantula back to the illustrator who promised to sign the contract. This was later unwittingly sabotaged by her staff when they visited the illustrator’s house with the contract. They found the spider and thought that they should get rid of it.
Poor Seo Hyeon Joon was writhing in pain when she got home. Her friend who wanted to borrow money was waiting for her at her doorstep.
When Seo Hyeon Joon asked her friend what she needed the money for, her friend became stroppy and told her that if she will not lend her the money then she was no longer her friend. She then left Seo Hyeon Joon in pain.
Seo Hyeon Joon called another friend to take her to the hospital. This friend was out of a field trip so she called Do Gyeom, who left his phone by the coffee machine at the mansion. The phone was answered by Ji Woo who rushed to Seo Hyeon Joon’s house and took her to the hospital.
The hospital was owned by Kim Seon Hee, mother of Han Seo Yoon. Kim Seon Hee was still obsessed with Ji Woo’s father and seemed to have transferred both of her unrequited love and obsession to the young Ji Woo.
She started crying as she saw Ji Woo lovingly looked at the unconscious Seo Hyeon Joon. It brought back to her that moment when she saw her old crush Ji Woo senior lovingly caressing the face of the sleeping Ming Ju (reincarnation of Seo Hyeon Joon). Kim Seon Hee was totally heartbroken and looks like she would not leave it at that. There are more ten episodes to make sure that the lovers will not progress to a happy ending without many upheavals up ahead.
It seems her daughter inherited her love obsession because Han Seo Yoon was chasing Do Gyeom with everything she’s got.
I want Do Gyeom to have a happy ending but somehow I want the ongoing love triangle, therefore I don’t want another woman to break the love triangle!
Episode 7
Seo Hyeon Joo was put under surgery for acute appendicitis.
Ji Woo kept a vigil on her and would not leave her alone.
Do Gyeum was understandably upset that Seo Hyeon Joo did not call her for help and it was only the following morning that he got to find out about her condition.
He raised to the hospital to see her but he saw him as well and again started the one-upmanship between Do Gyeom and Ji Woo.
Poor Seo Hyeon Joo got tried trying to act as the referee between the two. She can’t take it anymore so she told them to go.
Meanwhile, strange lady Kim Seon Hee was becoming more pathologically curios about Ji Woo and Seo Hyeon Joo. She could not understand why the spitting images of her batchmates would still fall in love and get together in another life.
It was so poignant thought when Do Gyeom finally told Seo Hyeon Joo that he was resigning as her younger brother because he felt more for her now and nothing brotherly about it. Anyway, Seo Hyeon Joo was firm telling him that she does not feel the say.
Do Gyeom was not giving up immediately thought because he had a make-over to look more mature just like Ji Woo.
Ji Woo gave the hotel door key to Seo Hyeon Joo for their rendezvous.
She turned up and why the song Misty was being played, she started remembering a different life.
Ji Woo advised her that perhaps she need to go back to therapy to sort her memory out.
Aww, this drama is so cute and the charismatic Takeru Satoh leads.
Anyway, Sakura was about to graduate from high school but not sure what to do afterwards.
Her class was on a school day trip to Tokyo on 23 November 2015.
Sakura had a notebook of what she was going to be doing during that day trip. She was going to go to all the temples and shops where she could pray for a good match for her one day. Apparently her family has had problems with finding their match. Like her father and mother who ended up divorced?!!! That is why she lived with her grandparents.
While she was wandering around Tokyo, she saw an elderly woman collapsed on the street. She did not really know what to do but the woman obviously needed help.
So she shouted for help at the top of her voice.
Luckily a passing doctor who was jogging heard her and took over looking after the woman who had an anaphylactic shock.
The moment Sakuro saw the doctor, she fell in love. He was gorgeous and so kind to her and to the patient.
He was Dr Tendo and told her that he worked at Hiura General Hospital.
Dr Tendo had to accompany the woman in the ambulance but before he left he told Sakura that it was all due to her that the woman survived what could have been a fatal situation.
Sakura there and then knew what was she going to do as she watched the ambulance moving away.
Five years later…
Sakura was now a nurse and will intern at Hiura General Hospital as she had been longing and aiming for.
She tried to find Dr Tendo immediately.
She saw him as he leaving the operating theatre.
Sakura did not waste any time.
She told Dr Tendo that she had loved him for the last five years and she had become a nurse because of him.
This got embarrassing not only because Dr Tendo seemed not to remember her at all and told her she was a rock, stupid, to confess to him after five years of unrequited love but the whole scene was witnessed by the hospital staff.
On her first day, Sakura got her nickname as Hero for having had the courage to approach the hospital Devil.
It was not a great experience for Sakura working side by side with Dr Tendo as she tends to make a lot of mistakes.
There came a point when Dr Tendo told her to just quit as she was not any good. He said also that she only became a nurse to follow him.
Anyway, Sakura is a competent nurse when she was not assisting Dr Tendo. And Dr Tendo realised this soon enough.
He was slightly more approachable so she walked home with him one evening.
Dr Tendo asked her how long was she going to follow him as he stood in front of his apartment.
Sakura was clueless about what was he was saying. She said she was not following him because she was actually standing in front of her own apartment.
It turned out that they are now next-door neighbors.
But it was no way romantic as she soon found out.
Dr Tendo looked like he was already living in with someone as a woman intimately welcomed him into the apartment.
Episode 2
Possible romance for the lead is back on.
it turned out the woman who was hanging on Dr Tendo as soon as he got home was Ruuyuko, his older sister.
The whole apartment building is own by the Tendos, a family of doctors except for Ruuyuko, who was rather partial to drink and rock & roll lifestyle.
Ruuyuko, instead, managed the apartment building. She told this mini-life story to Sakura who started dreaming being intimate with Dr Tendo again. Ruuyuko asked Sakura if she was the newbie nurse who declared her love and then was rejected by the Devil?
As Ruuyuko was so friendly, Sakura happily confessed that it was her.
The next day in the hospital, she decided to intern at the cardio unit. She was paired with Dr Tendo and they became the Tendo Team.
Dr Tendo was not very enthusiastic about being teamed with Sakura and he had reasons to be.
Sakura was hopeless most of the times. On their rounds, she runs the medical trolley straight to Dr Tendo. Then she took blood from a patient and was complimented for it. Sakura said she was actually good with injections and was so pleased with herself she accidentally injected the used needle to her hand.
Dr Tendo had to tend to her immediately. He told her that he was wasting ten minutes of hospital round looking after her.
There was a very sad story in this episode, the gorgeous young patient Kanda died.
Kanda was working in an electrical appliances shop and was passionate about his job and knows everything about the merchandise. He was hoping that he gets send home from the hospital soon because he wanted to see a girl who was on a first date when he collapsed.
Anyway, even Dr Tendo knew that Kanda’s condition is worsening.
Even Sakura noticed that Kanda had lost his appetite. To cheer him up, Sakura took especial care of him and cheering him up. This seemed to work. Sakura confessed to him that her rice cooker she brought from her hometown had stopped working and she was looking for a new rice cooker.
Kanda happily said that he was going to look out for one for her.
Among the new nurse interns at the hospital, Sakai was the best and everyone knew it.
It was her who noticed that Kanda was having an attack as she looked up at the monitor at the nursing station.
Sakura commented later to Sakai that she can never be as good as Sakai.
Sakai looked at Sakura and said: “I came here to learned, you came here to be liked.”
Which is very true. Every opportunity she gets she would confessed to Dr Tendo. She told him to go on a date with her, etc. Sometimes she is so cute and sometimes you just want her to shut up.
But she did shut up when Kanda died. Everyone did. Kanda was adorable and popular.
Sakura went home rather lethargic and promptly collapsed in front of her apartment door.
Ruuyuko saw her.
When Sakura woke up, she saw Dr Tendo tending to her. He told her that she had a fever and it seemed she was malnourished.
She had not been eating well because her broken rice cooker. Sakura started crying and collapsed in Dr Tendo’s arms. She told Dr Tendo she was going to quit nursing. She also said that Dr Tendo was right. She was a hopeless nurse.
Dr Tendo laid her back in bed and told her to rest.
He then said that he was wrong, she was a good nurse.
Dr Tendo went back to his apartment but can’t settle so he returned to Sakura’s apartment but found that she was with Dr Kisugi.
Episode 3
This episode is rather cute.
Dr Tendo found Dr Kisugi at Sakura’s apartment. He did not like that Dr Kisugi was friendly with Sakura and he let Kisugi know it by being familiar with Sakura. Dr Tendo took her pulse, and examined her if the fever had not subsided.
Dr Kisugi left them to it but warned Dr Tendo that he had to stay up to watch over Sakura until she was passed being feverish.
Anyway, Sakura got better quickly and went back to work. Again, she had not improved her nursing skills when she’s working with Dr Tendo. In fact, it got much worse because a patient refused to have his blood drawn by Sakura again and requested, instead, that Sakai took it.
Because of this Sakura suddenly lost confidence taking blood and Dr Tendo had to suspend her from taking blood tests. He calls her baka, meaning stupid, a fool.
It may sound harsh but Sakura mistakenly entered the information of a patient into a different patient’s record.
Thank goodness Dr Tendo realised it otherwise they would have sent a patient home basing the prognosis from the wrong record information.
She kept making mistakes because her brain is addled with other things like her love for Dr Tendo and being liked by everyone.
She overheard this same thing from Sakai who complained to a staff nurse about having to do extra jobs as she now had to cover for Sakura, who had her brain somewhere else when working with Dr Tendo.
Sakura was really sad but realised that Sakai had got a point.
Sakura started practicing drawing blood using an artificial arm to get her mojo back.
This was how Dr Kisugi found her. He offered his arm as her specimen but she refused as she might hurt him. Her confidence was so low.
Dr Kisugi noticed how sad she had become so he told her about Dr Tendo. He said that Dr Tendo used to have a girlfriend who was a young doctor, the same batch as them.
The girl was everything. She was feisty, confident and intelligent. But during the final year of their internship, she got sick.
Dr Kisugi said that it was the first and last time he saw Dr Tendo cry.
The girl eventually died from cardiomyopathy.
Ever since then Dr Tendo had gone deep into his shell, he does not smile, he does not talk much and seldom mingle with colleagues.
Sakura felt sad for Dr Tendo. After eight years he had not recovered.
Anyway, one of the patients was going berserk and insisting to go home before proper diagnosis and treatment were given to him.
Dr Tendo looked at the patient’s records and noticed that Sakura had inputted some important information that was overlooked by the nurses.
This made the nurses, including Sakai, to realise that Sakura was not completely idiotic after all. Just a little bit!
The staff at Cardio-unit took Sakura and Sakai for a welcome drink. They were surprised when Dr Tendo showed up.
Sakura made a little speech, she used every opportunity to tell Dr Tendo that she likes him and in this speech was no different.
She said that she likes Dr Tendo, yes she said she really likes him but she realised that she was not a good nurse so from that time on, she would put all her energy into becoming the good nurse.
She was so earnest with her promise that Dr Kisugi saw her in a new light. He sort of said that he was joining in. Meaning it will be a love triangle.
Sakai observed that Dr Kisugi was looking rather interestedly at Sakura.
And Sakura got so drunk during the meal that everyone left her in the care of Dr Tendo as they live in the same building.
He piggyback her until she started to feel queasy.
Sakura drunkenly revealed that she has heard about his dead girlfriend. Sakura said that she understood and sympathised that he was upset about it but it had been eight years.
She promised him that she will put the smile back into his face and laughter into his life. She then fell asleep.
Dr Tendo looked at her and said that if she was really serious about becoming a good nurse then he will train her to be the best nurse.

Episode 4
Sakura with Ruuyuko went to pray and get their fortune at the temple.
Sakura’s fortune said that she was going to have extraordinary luck. In her love life, she will have an unexpected confession.
Suddenly Sakura remembered that she was not supposed to be focusing on her love life anymore but to become a better nurse. Her career fortune said, “If there’s a will, there’s a way.”
Well, Sakura started her mission to become the better or best nurse. She gave 110 percent to her duty.
When one of her patients,Tazawa, was about to be discharged, she especially created a hand-written little booklet of little recipes that he could try at home as he lives alone. The other patients wanted one too. She is popular with them.
She was still grinning when she saw Dr. Tendo in the corridor. She apologised to him of what happened the previous night.
He remembered that she promised to make him smile again and be happy, happy, happy.
There was an emergency, a woman with a suspected heart attack had been admitted at the ER.
Sakura started getting post-it notes which stated very caring sentiments.
The nurses at the hospital said that it was Dr. Kisugi for sure who was sending the notes because he was that kind of guy, caring and kind.
One of the male nurses said that was true because when he was on duty for the longest time, Dr Kisugi sent him food and he almost developed a crush on him.
Yuuki Sayoko further added that Dr Kisugi was the most popular doctor in the hospital, everybody loves him for his kindness. But Sayoko warned to never misinterpret his generosity and to fall in love with Dr Kisugi because he was like that with everybody. He can’t give you more that you want.
Sakura got another note in her letterbox at the apartment building telling her to get an early night and some rest. At that same moment, she saw Dr Kisugi and thank him for the caring notes.
Dr Kisugi at first did not understand what she was talking about and then he denied that he was the one sending them.
They both ended up together inside Dr Tendo’s apartment when Ruuyuki invited them in after seeing them with confused looks.
Ruuyuki said that Sakura has a stalker.
From the kitchen, Dr Tendo sniggered. He said who in their right mind would stalk Sakura?
Sakura said that she might have a couple of stalkers.
Ruuyuki said that this issue is serious, she then said that Dr Kisugi should pretend to be Sakura’s boyfriend and escort her to work for the moment.
Dr Kisugi agreed but Dr Tendo was not liking the idea.
Dr Kisugi made good of his promise and went to work with Sakura the next day.
Sakura realised how popular Dr Kisugi was as they walked to the hospital; everyone knew him.
Sakai saw them and got a bit jealous. She has a crush on Dr Kisugi.
The patient who was admitted with a heart attack refused to have a bypass surgery despite Dr Kisugi explaining to her that plaques were blocking the blood flowing in her arteries and this good be fatal.
Sakura later learned that the patient wanted to attend the wedding of her estranged daughter which will happen soon. Having surgery now would mean she will be confined in the hospital for a few weeks which would make her miss the wedding.
Sakura explained this to Dr Kisugi, who reassured her that he will take this into consideration. He would weigh up the health and wellbeing of his patient.
Unfortunately, Tsuruoka, the patient, took a turn for the worse.
Dr Kisugi said he should have operated on Tsuruoka immediately.
Tsuruoka, however, said that she wanted to go to the wedding and asked Sakura to make it happened. She asked what was there for her life? All she wanted was to see her daughter, who she had not seen for twenty years after her divorce, in her wedding dress.
Their conversation was overheard by Dr Tendo.
Anyway, Sakura researched about the venue, how long it would take to get the patient back and forth, etc.
At a convened medical review, Sakura talked about Tsuruoka. She told the hospital doctors that she would take the day off to escort Tsuruoka to the wedding venue herself. It would take an hour to get there so the patient will only be away for three hours max.
The doctors said she was a new recruit and there were other things to consider like the hospital being sued if something happens to the patient.
Dr Tendo volunteered to take the day off as well and go with Sakura.
So the patient’s wish was granted and had an emotional reunion with her daughter.
They then return the patient to the hospital under Dr Kisugi’s care.
Tsuruoka was so grateful to Sakura. She said that Sakura is so sweet, she loves her.
Dr Kisugi said he knew what she meant, which rather surprised Tsuruoka.
Outside of the hospital, Sakura realised that she misplaced her mobile phone.
Dr Tendo said he will take her back to the venue.
But Sakura declined the offer and started running.
This part is rather confusing for me. The venue is supposed to be an hour’s drive but it looks like Sakura only took 5 minutes to run to the venue.
Anyway, when she got there, her stalker was waiting for her with her phone. It was Tazawa, the guy she made the mini-recipe booklet for.
Sakura was very surprised and then Tazawa tried to hug her but suddenly Dr Tendo was there and rescued Sakura.
Tazawa, however, found a steel bar to use on Dr Tendo but the doctor was prepared to fight. They were on the ground fighting when bigger tube bars got dislodged from a shelf and were about to fall near the two men.
Sakura threw herself on Dr Tendo to protect him.
She ended up with a bleeding head.
When the ambulance came, Dr Tendo instructed to bring them to Hiura Hospital. Again, if the venue was an hour away from the hospital, surely the ambulance would bring the patient to the nearest hospital to check and treat for a possible brain hemorrhage?!!!
Anyway, Sakura was given emergency treatment inside the ambulance. She was really cringey to the point of being a little creepy. She removed her oxygen mask and went on and on how much she loves Dr Tendo, she said she would say it even hundreds of times.
Then suddenly she started to blackout and Dr Kendo got really worried.
Dr Tendo told her that if she gets through this he would do whatever she wants, like go on dates and kiss.
No! Sakura did not go into a coma or die. She actually did not even lose consciousness. She just fell asleep. LOL
And after a short stint at the Hiura Hospital, she was moaning again at Dr Tendo. She said that she felt she was not medically treated well at the hospital. She lost a lot of blood but Dr Tendo took only a few minutes to patch her up.
Dr Tendo said it was because she only needed a couple of stitches for her wound.
Anyway, Sakura mentioned about what he promised her in the ambulance. Dating and kissing.
Dr Tendo just said she was baka, stupid, it was just her imagination.
She kept thinking about it until she was not sure if it was indeed just pure imagination.
Then he kissed her and said that was part of the treatment.

Episode 5
Sakura ran after Dr Tendo to check the meaning of the kiss. She told him that he might have had thousands of kisses before but that was her first one and she doesn’t know what that kiss meant.
Dr Tendo told her that they were officially dating as he went to his own apartment, leaving Sakura looking like a fish out of water.
She went inside her own apartment almost in a trance.
And then, Dr Tendo knocked on her door.
Sakura was rather nervous, especially when she saw her bed and her brain overdrive.
Dr Tendo wanted to speak to her about how they are going about their new relationship. He told her that she must not reveal it to anyone, especially at work. She must not act so giddily every time he was nearby, not to give him her goofy smile, etc. She must behave professionally. Their personal life must stay outside of the hospital.
Sakura agreed to everything he said and wanted.
The next day at the hospital, she was all professional to him which actually rather surprised him.
Her co-worker though, started teasing her about her would. They were still talking about the time she was rushed to the hospital. They said that Dr Tendo was really worried. They asked if there was a change in their relationship.
Poor Sakura, she was aching to reveal all but she tried to hide it the best she can.
Anyway, the ‘star’ patient for this episode was the son of Mariko Negishi, the Head Nurse.
Shinto was Mariko’s only child. He was a professional e-gamer but had collapsed. He had something abnormal with his heart rhythm, arrhythmia.
He needed ablation which Sakura put forward herself to he Dr Tenko’s assistant during the procedure.
She studied hard for it, she even attended and watch carefully other ablations being performed on other patients.
But still, she was a newbie and it would be her first time to assist in the procedure.
Mariko was so concerned about this. She went to see Dr Tendo and begged him to appoint a more suitable or rather more experienced nurse. She said that she knew she was a bit out of order requesting such but Shinto was her only son and she can’t bear anything going wrong with him. She was already feeling guilty working all the time being a single parent. She further added that Sakura tends to get distracted when Dr Tendo was around.
This was overhead by Dr Kisugi.
Mariko then started assigning duties to her nurses. She gave Shinto’s ablation to Kumi and Mayu.
Sakura was very surprised because she genuinely thought that she was going to be doing the assisting.
She went to Mariko to ask about it. Why was not given the task?
Mariko said that it was Dr Tendo’s decision. (What a liar!)
Anyway, Sakura went to find Dr Tendo immediately and asked him why did he not give him the the role when he almost promised her she could do it when she first asked.
Dr Tendo just looked at her being hysterical.
Sakura went on and on and even said that probably he thought that she was so distracted with him, etc.
Dr Tendo did not say much and just left her to it.
She was really so angry and was still so upset when she was leaving the hospital.
Dr Kisugi found her mopping at the hospital garden.
Sakura confessed that she was now dating Dr Tendo but she was upset with him for his cavalier attitude towards her. She then added that despite all that, she still truly loves him.
Dr Kisugi truly loves Sakura himself and would like to see her happy so he told her that Dr Tendo was begged by Mariko to drop Sakura as the assisting nurse on the oblation procedure for her son.
Dr Kisugi advised Sakura to speak to Dr Tendo now, that minute.
Sakura went to find Dr Tendo but she was told that he was performing an emergency ablation on Shinto, who had an attack.
Sakura went to the viewing theatre and saw that Dr Tendo was rather flummoxed with how the procedure was progressing. He was worried.
Sakura went to the microphone next to the watching Mariko. Sakura said that she noticed that Shinto had a cough and would constantly chew mints to relieve his cough. She thinks Shinto may have undiagnosed asthma.
This all may the difference. Dr Tendo asked Sakura to scrub up and come inside the theatre to assist.
Shinto was tended to properly.
Mariko was so grateful to Dr Tendo and especially to Sakura. She said that she was Shinto’s mother and yet she did not notice that he had a couple.
Anyway, it was the scheduling period for the nurses. Everyone wanted that day or that day of more days off etc.
Mariko asked Sakura which day she was going to take off.
Sakura said she was not bothered. She wants to stay in the hospital to study and learn.
Suddenly there was a voice, it was Dr Tendo who instructed to clear Sakura’s calendar especially the eight because he was taking her out for a meal.
Everyone was flabbergasted.
Dr Tendo patted Sakura gently on the head and said that she was his girlfriend.
If everyone was surprised then Sakura was the most stunned.
And this would apparently continue to the next episode because a very unexpected presence showed up.
Minori is back. I thought she died!
Episode 6
Yes, Minori is dead. It was her younger sister, Wakabayashi who had just turned up at Huira Hospital.
Everyone was oohing and aahing at how beautiful Wakabayashi was which made Sakura felt bad for herself.
It did not help that her supposed date with Dr Tendo was unceremoniously canceled because he had to go to Osaka for a conference… and yes Wakabayashi was also going with him because she had been invited as a special guest having just come back from a prestigious medical school in America.
Anyway, since Sakura had a couple of days break, she asked Ryuusei to spend it with her doing pub crawl.
At first Ryuusei was tempted but she said that Sakura should definitely go to Osaka and spy on Dr Tendo. Sakura cannot really allow Wakabayashi to take Dr Tendo from her.
So Sakura stealthily stalked Dr Tendo in Osaka. She then encountered another accident where an elderly man collapsed in the street, Sakura was once again aided by no other than Dr Tendo.
Sakura was surprised that he was there but Dr Tendo said he knew all along that she was stalking him.
Dr Tendo did not go to the conference dinner party, instead, he treated Sakura to takoyaki. He said that you cannot come to Osaka and not eat takoyaki.
They found out that they were to share the same hotel room. Ryuusei made sure of it.
It was a very sedate evening though. Sakura spent a long time in the bathroom debating against herself of what to do. When she finally came out, she said that she was inexperienced but she would leave everything to Dr Tendo, who she found was already (pretending to be) sleeping.
Sakura was so relieved and jumped into bed next to him and promptly slept. He was amazed at how she did it. He did give her a very light and rather tender kiss on the lips.
The next morning Sakura woke up alone but Dr Tendo said that he was going to wait for her downstairs.
She attended the seminar where he was the guest speaker. Sakura noticed how lively Wakayabashi was while sitting in front watching Dr Tendo. She was feeling rather uneasy especially when Wakayabashi later sought her out to speak with her.
She wanted to know the person who replaced Minori in Dr Tendo’s heart.
Sakura immediately said that she more or less imposed herself on Dr Tendo until he did not have much of a choice. Sakura said that she chased after Dr Tendo.
Wakayabashi said that Sakura was the opposite of her sister.
Instead of growing closer, Sakura felt further and further away from Dr Tendo. She was uncomfortable when all her happy colleagues wanted to know what adventure she had with Dr Tendo in Osaka. Sakura gave them presents to keep them quiet and distracted.
The patient of the week was Wada, a former nurse, who had been making Sakai’ life so stressful. Being a nurse, Wada would complain and comment at everything Sakai did.
The only thing that made Sakai smile was when Dr Kisugi said that he had the same problem with his mother who was a pharmacist. He said that to this day, she does not fully trust him to write a good prescription.
Anyway, Wada ended up having a heart attack and needed to be operated asap. Wakayabashi assisted Dr Tendo and they did make a very competent and good looking team. This was observed by many, which was heard by Sakura who was already feeling low.
Her self-esteem was at the lowest when she happened to pass Dr Tendo’s office and saw him talking intently with Wakayabashi, who just happened to say how much she admired his skill and talent as a doctor, so much so that she had fallen in love with him.
Sakura did not wait to hear what would happen next.
She was just so upset, she ended up drinking beer in the park to drown her sorrow.
She was singing while half-drunk already when Dr Kisugi told her that she had enough. He took the can from her,
Poor Sakura said that Wakayabashi was so much better than her and also better suited for Dr Tendo.
Sakura got up and started to go bur Dr Kisugi pulled her in a tight hug, telling her that he will always be with her because he was in love with her.
Meanwhile, Dr Tendo was sitting alone in his office, looking rather thoughtful!
Episode 7
This episode is my favourite so far. I love it.
Dr Kisugi confessed to Sakura, she thanked him but turned him down. She told him without prevarication that she had ever seen him as a close friend, a confidante she can tell her troubles and share her thoughts with. Other than that, nothing else because Dr Tendo is the one in her heart.
Dr Kisugi seemed to love her even more for her unadulterated honesty and advised her to seek Dr Tendo to thrash out the state of their relationship.
When she got outside her apartment door, she saw Dr Tendo coming out of the lift.
He took her to his apartment and asked her what was upsetting her.
She went on and on about how Wakabayashi liked him and how they were so much more compatible in looks, ability, sophistication, and intelligence. While she and Dr Tendo are in different leagues.
He went to her and said, “the fact that you and I are in a different league was established a million years ago.” He then started snogging her and said “you are not allowed to cry alone” and would have probably gone on snogging her if Ruuyusei did not come home at that precise moment.
Ruuyusei did give them a couple of amusement park tickets.
The next day, Wakabayashi wanted to talk to Sakura. She said that she confessed to Dr Tendo but got a very brutal rebuff and that was the end of her one-sided life for the doctor. Wakabayashi is moving on.
Sakura then happened to meet Dr Kisugi and they initially had a very awkward moment but Dr Kisugi as he is, so kind and gentle said that what he confessed to her last night was all true but because he likes her and cares for Dr Tendo as well, then he will support them. Awww. Sakai overheard them.
Dr Kisugi said that whether she believed it or not, he does have a lot of admirers. He and Dr Tendo were known as Brad Pitt and Leonardo Di Caprio of Hiura Hospital. 🙂
She was coming home when she saw a selection of toffee apples on display but they cost a fortune.
While she was totally absorbed with the apples on a stick, she was suddenly grabbed by a good-looking boy and told his date that the bemused Sakura was his new girlfriend.
The date threw a glass of ice-tea over Sakura. So the boy took her shopping for new clothes and surprised her later with one of the toffee apples.
The boy asked her to hang out with him for the rest of the day but Sakura said she can’t because she has a boyfriend who is gorgeous and good at his job.
The next day, Sakura was taken to the very exclusive section of the hospital – the VIP rooms.
Apparently, a patient had especially asked for her to be his nurse.
As Sakura found out the patient was Kamijo, the boy she met the day before. He had a heart problem which was first diagnosed when he was a child.
Kamijo, who the staff at the hospital calls the Trustfund Kid comes from a very rich and distinguished family who regularly donates to the Hiura Hospital.
Kamijo himself was very generous to his friends and would shower them with presents and treats.
Ruuyusei said that rich kids are usually insecure and often buy affection and admiration from others.
Anyway, the day out of Sakura and Dr Tendo at the amusement park was so sweet. They are so charming together. Mone is so cute. I thought she was so plain especially when I saw her in the latest LDK movie but in this drama she is so charming. And Sato, he is so gorgeous.
Sakai thought she saw her chance to confess to Dr Kisugi, who was looking rather glum and thoughtful, so she shouted iskedes… but then she chickened out and qualified it that what she meant was she likes both rice ball and curry bread.
Kamijo’s symptoms are getting worse. Sakura was at his beck and call. He would call her for the most innocuous excuse.
He thought he could buy her as well ad got her a beautiful necklace which she refused to accept. He asked her if she could be his. He will take her anywhere and give her everything. He then hugged her.
Sakura could not really push him away because he looked so sad and lonely. And that was how Dr Tendo found them, Sakura patting Kamijo reassuringly in the back while he hugged her.
Sakura continued to be kind and gentle to him. This only made Kamijo likes her more and more.
Unfortunately for her, Dr Tendo was not so amused. In fact, he was very stressed.
Ryuusei was in the bar when she met Rokurou again. She confessed that she might get married soon. She showed him photos of her blind dates. I think Ryuusei and Rokurou will end up together.
Kamijo was really determined to create a problem between Dr Tendo and Sakura. He told Dr Tendo that Sakura had been seducing him. She had made the first move when they first met. He commented that what would she do with other men.
Wakabayashi and Kamijo’s bodyguard heard a commotion in Kamijo’s room. Upon investigation, they saw both Kamijo and Dr Tendo on the floor. Dr Tendo was helping Kamijo to get up.
It was at the nursing station where Sakura found out that Dr Tendo had taken the day off because of illness. They were looking at her when she seemed to be clueless about Dr Tendo’s state of health.
Sakura immediately accepted that she was a neglectful girlfriend, she did not know that her boyfriend was ill.
She then went to Dr Tendo after her shift and cooked him a warming congee.
While he looks so cute and vulnerable, she asked him about Minori.
He said that the death of Minori is like pain and fear of losing someone close to you. As a doctor, that is how he feels for his patients.
But he then said that Sakura was too close and attentive to Kamaji and he does not like it. Awwwwwwww
She said that he was jealous and kissed him.
Sakura was happy to arrive at work with Dr Kendo the next day.
Their happiness turned to shock when Kamijo came in and said that he was suing Dr Tendo for violence and psychological damage towards his patient.
Episode 8
Kamijo sued Dr Tendo and his proof of the doctor’s violence against him was his bruised shoulder.
Everyone sympathised with Dr Tendo as it was not like him to intentionally hurt a patient, ever.
Wakabayashi said that she did not see any bruises when she examined Kamijo.
Yukito said it was simple, Kamijo hurt himself after he lodged his complaint against Dr Tendo.
Dr Tendo was taken off as an official doctor/surgeon for Kamijo.
Dr Kisugi will take over.
Meanwhile, Ruuyusei was packing to go back home to the family house to discuss marriage with her parents. She told Sakura to look after Kairi (Dr Tendo).
Sakura tried to. But when she was with Dr Tendo, she turns into a total klutz. She made a mess in the kitchen, she vacuumed an expensive shirt.
Dr Tendo can’t take her ministering anymore, so he asked her to sit in front of him which she quickly did. He the seductively took her face in his hands and said: “I was not dating you because I wanted you to take care of me.”
Dr Tendo told Sakura that he will not be looking after Kamijo but she had to take care of him and do it well.
Kamijo continued to be depressed because despite making life for Dr Tendo difficult, the doctor still appeared rather cool.
But as Sakura promised Dr Tendo, she did her best to cheer Kamijo up and she devised little exercises to keep him moving.
Meanwhile, young Airi was finally going to have her surgery. A little mechanical heart device for children will be transplanted on her.
And Dr Tendo will be operating with Wakabayashi.
Dr Tendo was touched when little Airi confessed to him that she likes him. Puppy love.
Meanwhile Sakura did not forget to cheer Dr Tendo as well as she was cheering up Kamijo.
She made rice balls for Dr Tendo and when he found it was not a ball by almost as flat as a pancake.
It turned out that Nurse Yukito accidentally squashed the rice balls.
Dr Tendo was happily chomping them away while Sakura sat next to him.
Kamijo could see how happy they were and it only made him sadder.
Sakura went to see Dr Tendo and told him that it was Appreciation Day.
They end up in a ramen restaurant. (The ramen looked so good, I suddenly want to go to Wagamama).
Dr Tendo, however, was really too busy looking at his paperwork which he brought with him.
Dr Tendo noticed that Sakura became quiet. He asked her what was wrong?
She said not to worry, but she then told him lovingly and happily that she could stare at him forever. Awww
Dr Tendo put away his documents and then he cupped his face with his hand and seductively allowed Sakura to stare at him as much as she likes. So cute.
Sakura was in seventh heaven but got embarrassed. They were so cute.
Kamijo struck again. He just can’t take it that Dr Tendo was just so cool as if nothing can bother him so he made sure that Dr Tendo got taken off from operating on young Airi.
Th staff in the hospital was upset about it but pragmatic enough to know that they cannot really do much because Kamijo’s family has control over the matter and the hospital as they donate a large sum each year which is needed by the hospital.
Sakura felt rather guilty about it as she knew Kamijo was harassing Dr Tendo because of her.
Kamaji told her that she can change his mind if she goes to Singapore with him when he transfers as his private nurse. He said that they have a seaside resthouse in Singapore.
If she goes with him, he will drop his lawsuit against Dr Tendo.
Sakura went on a bowling date with Dr Tendo.
Dr Tendo was an expert bowler and got lucky strike everytime.
Surprisingly, Sakura did as well until the end, she had two pins left.
She made a bet with Dr Tendo that if she did a spare then he had to be with her forever.
No one is more surprised than Sakura that she managed to do it.
On their way home, Sakura started singing about raw egg and rice.
Dr Tendon asked what was she singing about.
She said it was her own investion/lyrics which she made up when she was studying nursing. She studied so hard she only ate raw egg which she would stir in rice. And then she would tell herself that she was going to see Tendo Sensei. She was going to reunite with Dr Tendo no matter what!
Dr Tendo liked what he heard. He extended his hand to Sakura and they started walking side by side and hand in hand.
Dr Tendo was told that the case lodged by Kamijo against him had been dropped.
It meant that Dr Tendo can now do the surgery on Airi.
It was a success and he was glad about it but he found out immediately that Sakura had resigned and already left.
Kamijo read the letter from Sakura. She apologised that she can’t go with him to Singapore. But she believed that he will be alright and wish him that he will be able to find something he really want to do with his life. She gave him a little booklet of what he should be enjoying after he recovers from his surgery,
Kamijo and Dr Tendo had a heart to heart as both were longing for Sakura, who had left Tokyo.
Dr Tendo admitted that Kamijo saw immediately what was special about Sakura. It took him a bit longer.
Dr Tendo reassured Kamijo that he will be able to keep going and not to worry about his health.
Kamijo told Dr Tendo to pass on a message to Sakura that he enjoyed his one-sided love on her.
Meanwhile, Sakai noticed how sad Dr Kisugi without Sakura. She finally got enough confidence to confess to him. She said she would like to be the new Sakura in his life.
Meanwhile, Sakura was working as a nurse in the countryside. It was a one-doctor and a nurse (her) in a clinic. The facility was rather antiquated.
She was asked by the doctor to get some sweets and custard in the shop. On her way back she received a call from Ruuyusei.
Speaking of Ruuyusei, she was in the bar again when Rokurou asked her what was happening to her. She mentioned that she got back from her parents’ house to discuss her marriage which she did not really want.
Rokurou surprised her by asking her “Why not be wit me? I can look after you!” Apparently he had always meant to asked her to be with him when they first dated several years ago. I love their cute romance as well.
Anyway, going back to Sakura, she finally answered the call because she felt guilty for leaving immediately without settling her rent.
The person who spoke on the phone was Dr Tendo, which shocked Sakura. She then told him that she was now settled she had a new job as a nurse and she just assisted a major operation.
She was more or less telling Dr Tendo that she was ok on her own. But suddenly a pair of arms embraced her from the back.
Dr Tendo said that Sakura was not allowed to disappear by herself and didn’t they agree that they will be together forever?
Omg! This is just the cutest.
Episode 9
Sakura’s current boss, the doctor in the clinic found Sakura and Dr Tendo being lovey dovey in the street. He said to Dr Tendo to take Sakura away and back to Tokyo.
To Sakura, he told her to show Dr Tendo around their community and let him meet her family.
Sakura suddenly got nervous.
During a family dinner, Sakura’s mother, father, grandpa, brother interrogated Dr Tendo of his true intention towards Sakura. They then assumed that he had come to ask for Sakura’s hand in marriage.
They were wondering for such a gorgeous accomplished guy, what does he see in Sakura who is not particularly pretty or outstanding? They were also curious about how they got together.
Dr Tendo was really put on the spot. He was just about to say something when neighbours also came to see the handsome doctor.
Sakura told Dr Tendo that she had never heard him say that he likes her.
Ruuyuko had a heart to heart with Dr Koishikawa Rokurou about what they talked about last time. She officially turned him down his confession that he wanted to be with her and look after her. (Stupid woman, he is rich and dishy and kind)
Poor Dr Koishikawa was regretful for taking his time confessing to her earlier in their relationship when they first went out together.
Nurse Nishi then turned up and Ruuyuko introduced him as her young boyfriend.
Sakura’s father and Dr Tendo was having a drink together. The father said that he was going to leave Sakura in Dr Tendo’s care and then he said that Sakura is quite a girl. She was the kind that would always try to finish what she started despite great discomfort and extreme hardship. She does not easily give up.
Sakura and Dr Tendo were walking hand in hand (or her hand in Dr Tendo’s pocket as it was a cold evening), when they noticed that the little hospital was still lit. Saura with Dr Tendo went inside. They found the doctor collapsed on the floor but still trying to reach for the little bottle of morphine that had fallen with the syringe.
The doctor confessed that he was in the late stage of cancer and would die soon. He had no regrets as his wife had passed on and his children are grown up and able to look after themselves. He told them that to be able to live well is to learn to accept death.
Sakura and Dr Tendo were back at her house. They found that Sakura’s mother had already made the bed for them. They were to share the same bed which shocked Sakura but her mother told her that as they were dating…..
When they were left alone, Sakura confessed to Dr Tendo how much she missed him.
Dr Tendo was just about to kiss her when he said that someone was there with them.
And sure enough, four pairs of eyes were spying on them. LOL
Dr Tendo said he was going to sleep on the floor while she takes the bed but Sakura cuddled up to him and promptly went to sleep.
They were back at Huira Hospital. Everyone was happy to see Sakura, and even the usually quiet Sakai was tearful. Sakura gave her a hug.
Everyone also noticed that Sakura was even more cheerful than usual.
Nurse Yukito said that because Sakura was getting ‘it’ from Dr Tendo. The other nurses told of Yukito for being crude but they did agree that probably that was it.
Sakura heard their banter about her sex life and told herself that she had not done it with Dr Tendo.
Meanwhile, Nishi waited for Ruuyuko outside her apartment building. He said to her that he was young and still a new graduate and inexperience but he likes her so much.
Ruuyuko told him that she does not need words, what she needed at this point in her life is action.
The special patient in this week’s episode is a cancer patient who only has six months to live. He was requesting oblation so he could spend the last remaining months traveling with his wife. He had always dreamed of traveling while he was still working.
Dr Tendo agreed to do the oblation.
Wakabayashi once again confessed to Dr Tendo. But once again he rebuffed her. He said that she really does not like him, she just sees him like a shadow to her dead sister. She had to get over it.
Having not done ‘it’ with Dr Tendo really bothered Sakura so she asked for advice from Yukito for a male perspective.
Yukito said that there are only two things why a boyfriend had not jumped his girlfriend. First, she is not sexy and the second, he really cares about her.
Sakura immediately thought that she was not sexy so to remedy it she invited Dr Tendo for a cream party with a possible dessert, lol, saucy minx.
Dr Tendo turned up at Sakura’s flat.
She was dressed sexily and the creamy offerings were set on the table. And plenty of flickering candles for ambiance.
Sakura tried some scintillating conversation with Dr Tendo, who was as usually quiet. He was eating lovely crab croquettes.
In desperation, Sakura said she was hot from all the candles and she was going to take a bath.
Dr Tendo finally spoke and said that Sakura sucks (from playing sexy). He stood up and cornered Sakura for a kiss. He said that she does not know how hard it had been for him….
He then pushed her in the bed and said, “I am not letting you sleep tonight.” (omg, my heart!). He was kissing her and unbuttoning her dress when suddenly a drunk Ruuyuko and Kairi barged in.
The next morning, Sakura was happily going to work with Dr Tendo when they saw an accident about to happen. A runaway car was about to plow into pedestrians. Both Sakura and Dr Tendo tried to help and got caught in the accident themselves.
Dr Tendo noticed that Sakura was rather in a bad way but she still went ahead an helped the many injured people until the ambulance arrived.
Dr Tendo told her to ease up but she said she was a nurse and nurse she must do as he had trained her.
Finally, the ambulance was there and had taken the injured.
Sakura started falling backwards. It could have been really worse if Dr Tendo was not able to hold on to her before she hit the ground.
She had a blunt force trauma on her head and Dr Tendo was told that if part of her brain is really damaged, she might not be able to regain consciousness.
Dr Tendo stayed with Sakura holding her hand whenever he was not on duty. He had not slept but would watch her in vigil.
Sakai was overwhelmed with what had happened to Sakura. She was left crying. She was comforted by Dr Kisugi.
Wakabayashi also realised that Dr Tendo was ultra devoted to the comatose Sakura.
On the fourth day, Dr Tendo told the sleeping Sakura that she had had enough sleep already. It was time to wake up. By the way, why was any member of her own family not show up to see her?!!!
Dr Tendo as his usual was in mid-insult to the comatose Sakura when her fingers started moving in his hand.
Sakura was awake. She immediately asked how the people at the accident were and also about the man with the oblation?
Seeing that Sakura was now compos mentis, he stood up but stopped and started telling her, confessing why he likes her. He said that he likes everything about her even her annoying habit of messily eating ice-cream and her inability to do chores. But what he likes most about her was when she laughs, she is the cutest in the world. He was crying. He then said iskedes. ‘I like you.” awww
He then went to hold her again and said. “Don’t dare leave me again.”

Episode 10 – Finale
Dr Tendo and Sakura are now fully-fledged lovers. They stay at each other’s flats. Her accident really bonded them together.
Ruuyuko went to a matchmaker and met the family and potential husband. She was informed that the family was all teetotaller.
Suddenly Ryuusei appeared and proclaimed not to marry the guy.
Ruuyuko then ran off with him.
Ruuyuko knew she will be in trouble with her parents so she begged Sakura to go home with her so see the parents. The parents won’t be too emotional if someone else was there.
Sakura could not really decline a potential sister-in-law in her time of need. The mention of parents made her daydream of marrying Dr Tendo. Ruuyuko had to shake her off her daydreaming.
Dr Tendo had been tasked to speak about the successful operation done on little Airi. He had to talk about the mechanical heart during a press conference to explain the procedure.
Anyway, Ruuyuko took Sakura with her to go home. Home was so impressive, Sakura called it a mansion.
Sakura was wearing a black suit and when they met Dr. Tendo senior (father), who is maturely handsome, he asked his daughter why she brought a lawyer with her.
Ruuyuko said she was a friend.
Inside the mansion, Mrs. Tendo was cheerfully preferring some dumplings, while her husband gave to his anger with his daughter from mucking a marriage matchmaking by running away with a young boy.
He told her that she was useless, that she did not have direction in her life and can see that she would always be that way and not even want to take over the business from him.
Sakura can’t take all the negativity being thrown to Ruuyuko, she said that Ruuyuko was an inspiration to her, she was a loving sister, who looks after her brother well. She was so cool.
The sermon seemed to go on from the father and again Sakura interrupted by saying the dumplings looks appetising as moved to the table.
Mr Tendo Senior finally asked who she really was as she seemed to interrupt a lot.
Suddenly the door open and in walked Kairi who said that Sakura was his girlfriend, the one who changed him, giving his father a meaningful look. He further added that Sakura is the girl he intends to marry.
Everyone was surprised by happy but not as happy as Sakura who started to hop joyously. Kairi had to calm her down.
Sakura was in heaven and was contentedly chomping away hot dumplings.
Dr Tendo Senior noticed how Kairi was smiling watching Sakura’s antic. This made Dr. Tendo Senior thaw towards Sakura.
Ruuyuko was just leaving the house when she saw Nishi waiting outside. He said he had to come to explain his actions yesterday to her parents.
Ruuyuko said that it had been sorted. They were walking in her neighbourhood and into the high street when they came across Tendo General Hospital. Ruuyuko said that she finally knew what she wanted to do. She will take over the hospital to show her father that she was not a loser.
She then told Nishi that when she had matured, she will come to find him. She then qualified that perhaps it was unfair for him to wait for her.
Meanwhile, Kair and Sakura were in his own playground, where they had the sweetest interaction. Sakura back hugged him while he was sitting on a swing. She told him that she loves him and that made him smile tenderly.
The next day, Dr Tendo was passing a Tiffany & Co where he looked at rings.
Wakabayashi invited both Dr Tendo and Sakura to lunch where she formally apologised to Sakura. She showed them her sister’s diary where Minori wrote that she hoped Kairi will find someone who could make him smile once again.
Wakabayashi said that Dr Tendo has been exuding happiness since he got together with Sakura.
But it was not happily ever after yet because there was a little hindrance.
It was the Regional Comprehensive Care Study offered to nurses to study abroad. This course/training will allow nurses to assist patients in and out of the hospital.
Her co worker thought Sakura was the best candidate. Though she declined it eventually, it was obvious that she was tempted to go for it and Dr Tendo noticed it.
So he told Sakura to go.
Sakura said how could she? Being parted from him even for a few hours was unacceptable, she can’t certainly do it for a year.
Dr Tendo hugged her to him and said he felt the same but he saw it her eyes that she wanted to go.
So without much preamble, Sakura packed her bag and was ready to go on the same day as when Dr Tendo was giving the seminar on the mechanical heart.
As only Sakura would do, she thought and told Dr Tendo that her flight was 6 pm when in fact it was 14:00. So Dr Kisugi had to signal Dr Tendo that Sakura was about to fly while Kairi was in the middle of his lecture.
Dr Tendo, ever the professional, continued with his speech but Rouruko, the VP, can see that he was bothered. So he announced that Dr Tendo was being called out on an emergency so he had to take over.
Dr Tendo hurried to the airport. He caught Sakura at the last minute. They hugged tightly and Kairi presented her with the beautiful Tiffany engagement ring and made her promise not to cheat on him.
Sakura smiled and promised and kissed him passionately.
One year later…
Sakura came back and was crossing the road with her suitcase when Dr Tendo called her from the other side.
She ran back to him happily to which he commented that it looks like she was still madly in love with him. Awwww
At the hospital, Sakura was warmly welcomed and given a surprise… wedding.
Kairi and Sakura looked totally gorgeous but she had a little Cinderella moment where she tripped and Kairi had to kneel down to help her put on her shoes.
They finally reached the altar. Dr Tendo said his vow and Sakura was about to say her vow but someone collapsed and the wedding was canceled until further notice.
The man who collapsed was ok.
Dr Tendo then asked Sakura that she did not give her answer to the vow.
Sakura said, “I Do” and Dr Tendo kissed her passionately in front of the staff. Awww
It was so cute. Loved this drama. I had looked forward to it every week. Thank you subbers! More power to you.

These extra minutes are often really hilarious.
The extra for episode 10 was about the newlywed Kairi and Sakura.
Sakura is now known as Tendo Nanase and she was loving it and still excitedly getting used to it.
She was all lovey-dovey to her gorgeous husband but he was still the same, rather dour at work.
Sakura ran into the new nurse and she recognised him as the god cat who she told Kairi she bumped into the first day she came to work.
But the god cat who heard what was being said intoned that au contraire, he had met them 5 years ago. He did everything so the two could meet. He stopped a lady doing a street basking, he stopped a lady beating her mat, he stopped children from making too much noise.
This is really such a cute extra episode and it ended with everyone, the entire cast, dancing with the cat nurse with a meow meow.

Episode 1
Wei Chu is the heir to Taiji. Once upon a time his life was tai chi/martial arts. He was the president of Taiji club and was revered and envied by classmates and schoolmates for his prowess, wealth and good looks.
Then something happened that required him to undergo bone marrow transplant. Suddenly the thing that he loves most, he cannot do anymore. For a year he was away from school but his legend lived on.
Then he was back. Some were glad to see him returned but there are those who wanted him to be humbled, gone and the Taiji faculty with him.
Feng Piao Piao is a practitioner of Tai Chi. She had been coached by her grandpa all her life and she was quite good at it. Piao Piao wanted to enroll to Shiang Xiang College to study art, she had really worked hard to be able to do so.
The day that she had to submit her final work of art as part of the entrance requirement for Shiang Xiang College was rather hectic. Piao Piao grabbed the painting which she was to submit.
She learned later that her painting was much admired because of its beauty, content, and maturity in technique. She realised that she submitted her grandfather’s latest painting instead of the one she actually did. She wanted to confess to the teacher but she can’t do it because he had fulsomely complimented her and the painting against others who suspected that she did not paint it as she was very young and lack maturity for such a subject in the painting.
Whether she had confessed or not in the end, it did not matter as someone defaced her art and her teacher asked her to repair it or paint another one. She was given three days.
Piao Piao was stressing because she knew she can’t paint as good as her grandpa and therefore won’t be able to replicate a drawing like his. This would mean expulsion from school before she actually really begins.
So she decided that she had to go and see her grandpa, beg him to let her borrow of his painting despite the curfew in place at school/dorm.
On her way to her house, she saw Wei Chu and noticed that at least half a dozen boys were threatening to beat him up.
She used her mobile phone to replicate the sound of a police car alarm. The boys ran away but they returned when they reliased that it was a fake alarm.
Again they were getting ready to beat Wei Chu again but Piao Piao, ripping material from Wei Chu’s shirt then improvised a mask. She did beat the boys, 7 guys in all, one by one.
Afterwards, she dragged Wei Chu away. He asked her what she was doing out after curfew?
She said that she doesn’t go to school.
She went home and her grandpa was waiting for her and asked her what was she up to. He knew she had been fighting.
She confessed about everything including the painting. He was very understanding and allowed her to take one of his paintings.
Meanwhile, Wei Chu was intrigued by her and searched online who she was.
Episode 2
After PP gave her painting to the professor, she sent to find Wen Chu. She asked a couple of girls where he lives but they purposely gave her conflicting directions.
So she had to rely on herself to find the place herself. She had walked for sometime when she saw Wen Chu by a scenic hill. She immediately went to him and started rather aggressively to push him against a tree trunk and threatened him that she beat him to death if he reveals that she knows Taiji.
They did not know that they were being recorded by one of the girls PP asked direction from.
Anyway, after Wen Chu agreed to keep her secret, she left him.
There was a faculty meeting involving the Taiji Faculty and Baxing Faculty.
The Boxing Faculty led by Tan Li proposed that Taiji should be abolished being of their dwindling numbers of members. They only have twelve at the moment but under ten it would be automatically put forward to abolition.
The teacher advisers said that it was early days to talk about abolishing.
Wen Chu went to the Taiji Dojo to hand back the leadership seal back to Bai Hai for obvious reasons that he can no longer lead because of his current condition. Any fighting for him would delay his recuperation.
Just after he left, the members of the Boxing club also turned up at the dojo to challenge Taiji to a fight to be held in a week’s time.
Bai Hai was a good fighter so he accepted the challenge.
It was raining when PP ran into a shady pergola, she bumped into someone and realised it was Wen Chu. they started arguing immediately but she did sort of felt guilty that it might be because of her that Boxing challenged Taiji because they were looking for her.
Wen Chu noticed that PP was shivering and sneezing so he took off his gorgeous limited edition jacket and draped it around her shoulders.
The jacket ended up with a burnt hole on it cased by accidentally putting an hot electric iron over it while she was talking to her best friend and dorm mate Xiao Xiao (XX).
When she returned the jacket to Wen Chu, she found out that it was quite expensive so she tried to save for it including not eating lunch.
So Xiao Xiao, who did not know about her money problem went to the school cafeteria. She was about to pay for her lunch when she noticed that she was missing her money seal. Bai Hai generously paid for her meal.
While Bai Hai was eating members of the Boxing Faculty came and distracted him. They drugged his glass of water so that he could not attend the preliminary competition that was about to happen.
Bai Hai ended up in the hospital.
But the atmosphere of the contest was so heady that PP went to watch it.
The Taiji was on a losing streak with Bai Hai.
It was almost a foregone conclusion that the contest was lost by Taiji until someone shouted that it was not finished.

Wei Chu is determined to train Feng PP and had now determined to control every aspect of her life.
He would not even allow her to escort a new Japanese student, who just transferred to their school, after Feng PP said that the boy looked like a hero who jumped out of a manga story.
Feng PP also complained that his training made her dead tired. There is no longer fun in taiji unlike when she was training with her grandad.
Wei Chu said that training with her grandad for a hobby but she did to work hard and concentrate if she wanted to win the martial arts contest.
PP began to be gossiped about because they thought she has a rather master/slave relationship with Wei Chu.
There are also gossiped that she was also having a relationship with Shan Xun, therefore she was deemed shameless.
Wei Chu got to find out about the gossip so he made sure Shan Xun thought that he was in a relationship with Feng PP.
It was the Spring Festival. The New Year vacation. Feng PiPi went home to her grandad. They were happily making dumplings when there was a knock on the door.
It was Wei Chu who wanted to spend the festivities with Grandpa and Feng PiPi.
Wei Chu told grandad that he wanted to Feng PP to enter the contest for World Martial Arts.
Wei Chu was so jealous when Feng PP received a call. He kept asking who the call was from but she ignored him and continued smiling.
Xiao Xiao met up with Feng Pi Pi ang brought Shan Xun with her. they ended up having a lovely fun time together.

Episode 10
It was finlly revealed that Feng Pi Pi did not paint the painting she submitted for the admission requirement. The punishment for this is expulsion.
Wei Chu, however, intervened and said that Feng PiPi should be give two weeks to prepare and paint in front of everyone.
Feng Pipi was unsure about this but Wei Chu said that she has him. He will tutor her.
Poor Xiao Xiao was told by Bai Hai that he was so busy with resurrecting Taiji Faculty that there is now room for her in his heart.
Episode 11
Ajia tried to sabotage Feng PP’s painting ‘exhibition’ but in the end PP showed them and everyone else that she can really paint.
Ajia got found out that she did something on the table/desk leg causing it to collapse while PP was doing her painting.
Wei Chu knew that he had a strong rival in Shan Xun. He got jealous when he saw a photo of Feng PP and Shan Xun looking so friendly.
He also tried to be more accomodating to her, and buying her little treats like a set of manga books.
When she found the books, he said that he bought for her so she stays longer by his side.
Wei Chun went to his Chinese Medicine doctor who told him that he was getting better fast. He was now 80 percent recharged.
Episode 12
Shan Xun was going back to Japan and said before he leaves, he would like to say something to Feng PP. He confessed to her.
But Feng PiPi told him that when she things of romantic things she thought of another person. She then told him that he was gorgeous and kind and she was pretty sure Shan Xun is popular with the girls wherever he goes.
Both sadly said farewell to each other.
This made Feng PiPi realized that she really likes Wei Chu.
She did try to get closer to him but he found her attentiveness strange.
Episode 13
Wei Chu was attacked by a strong female ninja wearing a mask.
Unfortunately, she caused major damage to Wei Chu’s meridian.
The doctor told him later that his new injury was so bad it has undone all the 80 percent curative effect of his recuperation. The worst-case scenario was he might lose the use of his legs.
Poor Wei Chu had gone into a full depressed mode.
He told Feng PP that his meridian was badly damaged and there is no use used for coming around anymore as he could not be her shifu anymore.
Wei Chu, though, was missing Feng PP so much.
Episode 14
Meanwhile, Wei Chu’s current condition spread like wildfire and some members of the Taiji Faculty started leaving the dojo.
At the same time, there was the long-awaited contest with the Boxing Faculty.
Feng PP told Wei Chu that she wanted to transfer to the Taiji Faculty.
The story is about a girl who entered the palace disguised as a boy in order to study medicine and exact revenge to those who framed her father resulting in the massacre of her family. She was the only survivor.
Bent on revenge, her situation got complicated when the General Ji who made her his personal eunuch learned she was a girl and wanted to make her his wife.
Cute.

Episode 1
Note: Tian Qi is pretending to be a boy eunuch so she could enter the medical academy. So if I use the pronoun he/she then please just bear with it. 😜
19-year-old Dr Tian Qi was crying uncontrollably over the coffin of Infanta Shucheng, the fiancee of General Ji.
The Infanta was about to marry the general, which accounts for the red banner decorations everywhere which annoyed General Ji when he went to see the body of the Infanta.
A few days previously…
Tian Qi (pretending to be a boy eunuch) came top of the newly qualified doctors at the General Medical Academy and as such, ‘he’ was told that ‘he’ will become a physician for the emperor.
Tian Qi, thinking on her feet, said that she dare not go accept the position because is known a hoodoo, a curse, a jinx. She elaborated that she had caused many to die just being near her and she would not impose herself to the emperor.
Tian Qi was really determined to go to Mansion Ji, because she heard that the killer of her father and the rest of the family was someone from the Mansion.
Her Shifu at the academy was being assigned to Mansion Ji so she begged him to take ‘him’ as his intern.
His Shifu finally agreed but for a price of 200 guan. It was a lot of money but Tian Qi was desperate so she agreed.
Anyway, Tian Qi got along well with the Infanta. She was helping the infanta to be even more attractive and memorable to General Ji, who happens to be a gorgeous man, popular with the women despite his reputation for utter cruelty in battles.
During a tea party held by the General to introduced his soon to be wife, the infanta, an assassin who was about to attack the general knocked into Tian Qi, who fell on the lap of the General, who with one hand, held on to the blade of the knife used to attack him while stopping the assassin altogether.
The General then told Tian Qi who was still resting on his lap to get up.
While the assassin was being apprehended, the Infanta collapsed.
And a few hours later, she was declared dead by poisoning.
And this how the General found Tian Qi. She was crying disconsolately, burning incense and money and papers by the coffin. Because just before the General turned up, Tian Qi was crying so hard because she knew without the infanta she will be sent back to the General Medial Academy. She had already spent a lot of money to be able to stay at Mansion Ji. Then she saw the jewels which will be buried with the Infanta. She thought it would not really benefit the infanta to where she was going but it would certainly be of use to her. She was just about to take them when there was a ghostly haunting.
Immediately, Tian Qi knelt down asking for forgiveness. She was crying so much she did not notice that the General was standing next to her. Only when she reached down to what she thought was her hanky which she used to mop up her tears and blow her nose noisily into that the cloth was in fact the hem of the annoyed General’s hanfu.
The General asked who ‘he’ was. He did not trust her. He asked his bodyguard to find out everything about the young doctor.
He wanted to find out what the excessive grief of the young doctor over the infanta. He suspected that perhaps they were lovers!
The General was in his mansion when an assassin appeared. After a beautifully executed martial arts where the General won it in the end, he found out that his assassin was his brother Yi Zheng who had just come back from his travel.
They were happy to see each other and General Ji asked him to stay with him as he needs him to help him with things in the empire.
There was a newly acquired backstory story for Yi Zheng. A few days ago he was crossing the bridge when he saw a beautiful elegant woman. He fell in love with her at first sight. But she did not even notice him. He accidentally has gotten hold of her hanky.
The woman was, of course, Tian Qi, who was at that time dressed as a girl.
Episode 2
Tian Qi was on her way to see her ‘Aunt’ Wang Hong who runs a brothel with Uncle Lin. They looked after her when her parents and whole family were massacred.
She told them that she might have to leave Mansion Ji because the infanta had been poisoned and died.
Anyway, the General received the report about Tian Qi. He learned that she was some sort of pariah at the academy because she had told them that she was a hoodoo.
Instead of being wary, the General felt a little sympathy for TIan Qi. He said that once upon a time he was also called a hoodoo who would kill his own father to get to the power.
However, he still did not trust Tian Qi and after she confessed that she needed the money was the reason she was crying piteously.
The General, however, ordered that ‘he’ be punished with 30 lashes.
He then told her to look after his azaleas and make sure she found out who poisoned the infanta before all the flowers dropped.
Tian Qi was tending to the flower carefully when the General started plucking them.
Episode 3
The General was really putting Tian Qi into all sorts of bother. He started plucking the flowers because he was blackmailing Tian Qi into agreeing to become the bait for the poisoner who murdered the infanta to come out into the open.
Tian Qi had to agree but really got scared remembered that she was the only one left of the Shen family. Her mother and father before they died had told her that she must live a good life and to stay out of trouble and yet here she was putting herself in danger.
It seems Tian Qi and General Ji had more in common than they think. They were actually childhood friends who lost touch.
General Ji had always felt guilty and still gives him nightmare that he was too late to save the Shen family. He had been looking for little Zhao Er ever since.
As much as Ji Hen was rather petty and a tad cruel to Tian Qi, he had always felt that he reminded him of young Zhao Er and this he found confusing.
Meanwhile, Ji Zheng received information that the anonymous girl he fell in love at sight with had been seen entering Bar Warhong, a popular brothel in town.
Ji Zheng was rather disappointed upon hearing that the brothel owner was rather familiar and welcomed the girl happily.
Episode 4
Ji Hen was suffering from sleep disorder partly due to his worry and guilt about Zhao’er, the girl who might have been killed with her parents. As they can’t find her body, he hoped that she escaped.
Ji Hen was very fond of the little girl and might have been a little in love with her as well when he was also just a little boy. He still remembered the girl insisting to buy his and her’s masks during the festival. She did not know then the meaning of the masks. They were for lovers.
Anyway, despite his love for Zhao’er, he is uncomfortably drawn to Tian Qi because, for some reason, Tian Qi reminds him of Zhao’er.
As Tian Qi was a ‘boy’ he was doubly cruel to him sometimes but he gets angry if anyone else victimises Tian Qi.
Tian Qi was being set up as the fall guy by the murderer. Thank goodness Ji Hen knew about this.
Tian Qi had become Ji Hen’s personal doctor as well as the fan handler.
Episode 5
Ji Zheng found out that the girl he was looking for was in fact a eunuch who was a doctor as Ji Mansion. This was rather a long story but in short, servants led by Sun Dali were bullying Tian Qi. She was running away from them when Ji Zheng noticed how the boy (Tian Qi) looked so much the girl in the bridge.
Ji Zheng helped Tian Qi but she got hit on the forehead.
Ji Zheng asked his bodyguard, who also noticed the resemblance of Tian Qi to the drawing that Ji Zheng had made of the girl in the bridge.
Ji Zheng half agreed that the girl might be one and the same as the Tian Qi. However, he commanded that his bodyguard should investigate Tian Qi’s background further.
Ji Hen noticed that Tian Qi had a bleeding bruise in her forehead. She went to find out what happened.
He had Sun Dali punished when he found out that it was him who hurt Tian Qi.
As his personal doctor, Tian Qi was always with him. She would fan him to sleep and would ended falling asleep by his bedside.
The guards began to gossip especially when then were seen in a rather compromising position.
Rumours started spreading that Tian Qi and Ji Hen were in a gay love affair.
Ji Zheng went to tell his brother about the rumours and advise him to be not around Tian Qi so often after all they were only using Tian Qi to smoke out the poisoner.
Ji Hen was not having this and got annoyed.
Ji Zheng realised that Ji Hen did not know that Tian Qi was a girl.
Ji Hen had told Tian Qi that he did not need her that night so he(she) could go home. He noticed though that significant smell to Tian Qi.
Tian Qi told him that it was the gardenia from her scent pouch she made. She said that she always had one since she was a little.
Ji Hen told her to leave the pouch to him. He thought that that was the secret why he could now sleep at night.
But once again he woke up from a nightmare while still clutching the pouch. He then realised that it was not the scent that made him fall asleep, it was Tian Qi.
His guard noticed how rather dejected and stressed he was so he asked if they should call Tian Qi.
At first, he said no but Ji Hen changed his mind and ordered to get Tian Qi.
It was a good thing too because during that time Tian Qi was unconscious and being snuck out of mansion Ji.
Ji Hen found out that Tian Qi was missing and ordered immediately a total lockdown of Mansion Ji.
The masked kidnapper was almost caught but he opted to chuck the bound Tian Qi into the pond/lake.
Episode 6
I have to say this drama is aptly titled at Dr Cutie. The lead girl is so darn cute but the male lead is absolutely gorgeous. He can count himself as one of the most gorgeous actors in a historical costume.
Their chemistry is so appealing.
Anyway, Ji Hen caught in his peripheral vision that a man in black was dumping a body in the pond/lake.
Ji Hen jumped in to the rescue which was witnessed by his brother, Ji Zheng.
Ji Hen rescued the bound and unconscious Tian Qi. He was just about to check on her when Ji Zheng told him to leave because it was not appropriate that JIn Hen, being a general should put himself into danger to save a mere doctor in the house.
Ji Hen did see the logic of what Ji Zheng said and left.
Anyway, he returned later to check on Tian Qi. She was surrounded with everybody from the manor who wanted to know who saved her.
She can’t really tell as she was unconscious then but they needed her to give an answer.
Ji Zheng came to the rescue and said that it must be the legendary giant turtle he had heard about a long time ago while he was growing up. He said that it was more than likely that the spirit turtle got fed up because no one was talking about him anymore and what better than save someone to get himself trending once again.
His audience believed him at once.
Anyway, Tian Qi realised that her life was really in the hands of assassins so she decided to find out more about his father. What was the reason why he was banished suddenly from Mansion Ji?
Tian Qi managed to get inside the well-guarded document library.
She was almost found out but Ji Zheng saved her.
Ji Zheng asked what was she looking for in the library.
Tian Qi made up a story about being in love with someone and wanted to find out about their birthday.
Ji Zheng was curious and surprised that she was already in love with someone. He asked it it was one of the guards, or even his brother.
Tian Qi pretended to be scandalised. She said why would she like a guard. She’s a man.
Ji Zheng was impressed with her quick wit.
But he did not let her get away because he saw her again and confronted her that he saw her dressed a girl outside the mansion.
She pretended to do self-harm if he continued to insist that she was a girl.
Ji Zheng can’t really force her to confess but he thought that he will watch her more assiduously.,
Meanwhile, Tian Qi and Ji Hen had such a cute scene involving the pot plant which had all the flowers dropped off.
Tian Qi was trying to distract Ji Hen from seeing it. He knew but he pretended otherwise and they were just the cutest.
Love this drama for a light-heart uncomplicated watching.
Episode 7
.It has been revealed than Madame Su was the mastermind of the killing of the Infanta. Madame Su is Ji Hen and Ji Zheng’s stepmother, being their father’s concubine.
Episode 8
Madame Su was protecting a bigger mastermind. Rather than reveal who he was or where he was hiding, she poisoned herself.
Now Ji Heng and Ji Zheng were back almost at square one finding the real killer of the infanta or rather the one who wanted to assassinate Ji Heng which unfortunately put the infanta in the thick of it.
Tian Qi saw the man going to Mansion Ji who betrayed her father. It was Sun Cong Rui.
Episode 9
Ji Heng was trying to smoke out the assassins so he decided to use the alibi of going to military training. He took with him a reluctant Tian Qi.
During a lunch break, Tian Qi wandered into a clearing. It was surrounded by peach blossoms. Somehow the place brought some nostalgia. The place looked familiar. She started thinking of happy days with her father and mother.
She was lost in her daydream when Ji Heng found her. He thought she was a girl as she was singing sweetly and had her eunach hat decorated with pretty flowers.
Ji Heng pretended to punish her by making her, who is supposed to be a boy, walk in front of the other men with flowers on her hat.
When they got to their destination, Ji Heng asked her to help him undress for his bath. Tian Qi was really not happy about it but Ji Heng was giving her the ferocious look.
She managed to take off his top and then he changed his mind when she nervously started to remove his trousers.
Ji Heng started suspecting that perhaps Tian Qi was a gay boy. The thought made him rather uncomfortable.
On the second leg of their travel, they were ambushed by a bank of black ninja. There were some spectacular fighting scenes where Ji Heng and Ji Zheng, who came to the rescue excelled. Both the actors who played them were gorgeous.
During the mayhem, Tian Qi tripped while running towards Ji Heng. Her falling into him saved him from an arrow that went into her chest.
Tian Qi was brought into a manor, while Ji Zheng went to look for a doctor.
Ji Heng was looking after Tian Qi, who was death pale and in absolute agony. Ji Heng offered to take out the arrow as he was aware of how to stop the bleeding. But first, he had to cut down her clothes.
Tian Qi was beyond modesty but she did beg Ji Heng that whatever he finds out, he must not kill her.
Episode 10
When Tian Qi woke up all patched up, she worried that Ji Heng had found out her secret but Auntie Hong was there and comforted her that her secret remains hidden. Aunt Hong came just in time to remove the arrow.
But she told Tian Qi that she must have been extraordinarily special to General Ji because he stayed with her all night, looking after Tian Qi himself.
Aunt Hong tried to convinced Tian Qi to abandon Mansion Ji but Tian Qi said not before she found out who had her parents killed.
Tian Qi also mentioned that the person who betrayed her father was still at Mansion Ji. He was Sun Cong Rui.
When Tian Qi got better, she went back to Mansion Ji. She was surprised at how popular she had become. She was being warmed welcomed by everyone. Her teacher said that was because there was a rumor that she had become a trusted personnel of the General.
In fact, the general had her old lodging cleaned up. He also had another bed put in his manor so she can use it when she stays the night with him (fanning him or watching him sleep).
Episode 11
Tian Qi for taking the arrow for Ji Heng. She then asked if she can have a day off the next day to deposit her reward money then perhaps spend the day in the busy market place just to do a bit of shopping, mingle and see some shows. She then asked half-jokingly if Ji Heng wanted to go with her.
He did.
So they went on a date and Ji Heng said it was rather strange to be too formal with each other so he said why not call him Bai.
They were having a good time looking around in various shopping carts.
Tian Qi forgot for a moment that she was supposed to be a boy when she saw an arrow of accessories. She saw a lovely hairpin.
The vendor was looking at her strangely and so did Ji Heng.
Tian Qi immediately said that she was buying it for a girlfriend.
As a cover, she spotted a girl who she asked if she could try the hairpin in her lovely head.
After a brief hesitation, the girl agreed but her boyfriend/admirer arrived and started a fight with Tian Qi.
Ji Heng did not do anything to help.
The fight was getting out of hand, so Tian Qi ran off with Ji Heng.
In a hidden corner, Ji Heng fought of their chasers one by one.
Afterwards, they Tian Qi and Ji Heng continued meandering in the market.
Thinking that Ji Heng still suspect that she was either gay or a girl, Tian Qi dragged him to a book cart where she proceeded to look at porn.
Ji Heng was so shocked and even more shocked when the bookseller said that his number one customer was General Ji. He then showed them a poster of a rather swarthy General Ji, which was photoshopped.
Poor Ji Heng was between humiliation and anger which made Tian Qi giggled so much.
Before Ji Heng fully recovered from this embarrassing situation, Tian Qi dragged him to a brothel.
Tian He hired a room and had four lovely ladies to serve them. She made it looked like she was a regular.
She then pushed the girls to Ji Heng and left them all to entertain him.
Now he was incandescent with rage.
But not so upset enough because he gave a free pass to Tian Qi, which meant she can come and go in Mansion Ji.
Tian Qi was feeling the kindness and utter gorgeousness of Ji Heng while she watched him sleep. But she told herself that she cannot be in love because she has a mission to avenge her parents.
Episode 12
Ji Zheng was both jealous and feeling guilty of what he knew about Tian Qi.
He wanted to tell Ji Heng that Tian Qi was really female but Tian Qi might get kicked out of Mansion Ji, he likes her too much for that.
Anyway, he followed Tian Qi when she left the mansion again.
He finally confronted her about her true gender.
When Tian Qi started saying that he was really boy, Ji Zheng said that he would see it for himself.
Tian Qi had to confess the truth.
Episode 13
Ru Yi, Ji Heng and Ji Zheng’s nephew came to stay at Mansion Ji. For some reason, the young boy attached himself to Tian Qi and had started calling her ‘mom’.
Ji Zheng found this too ridiculous and got annoyed of teaching his nephew silly things.
Madam Ji, Ji Heng’s mother had come back from the temple together with her assistant, the commander of Mansion Ji, Chen Wu Yong.
Chen Wu Yong had a reputation for being wicked and cruel.
Dr Ding and Tian Qi saw the commander ordering a maid to be given 50 lashes for not maintaining the pristine condition of his apartment at the mansion.
Chun Hua saw Tian Qi and Dr Ding. She warned them not to get into the bad side of Mr Chen. She also said to Tian Qi that as soon as she saw Mr Chen again, she suddenly remembered that it was him who was wearing the Buddha jade bracelet that Tian Qi was asking about.
Little Ru Yi was telling Madam Ji how much she likes Tian Qi. Madam Ji got curious about the doctor who seemed to be popular with everyone including to her own son, Ji Heng.
Meanwhile, Tian Qi went to see Mr Chen with a small chest of jade jewels including the red bead jade Buddha bracelet as an offering.
Upon seeing the bracelet Mr Chen was visibly shocked.
Tian Qi asked why he seemed interested with the Buddha bracelet.
Mr Chen said that he used to own it and had given it to someone else. He was surprised to get it back again.
Seeing the bracelet again had given Mr Chen a nightmare. In his dream, his throat was cut by Tian Qi.
Because of this, he planned to get rid of Tian Qi.
He recruited the maid of the former concubine to tell Madam Ji that Tian Qi was known for being a jinx and the sooner that they get rid of her the better.
Madam Ji concocted her own plan which was influenced by Mr Chen.
She met up with Ji Heng and Ji Zheng for a welcome home dinner. It turned out that Ji Heng was her son but Ji Zheng was the son of a concubine.
Madam Ji had a hand with the death of the young concubine. She forced the girl to drink poison. She then had taken Ji Zheng as her own son. Ji Zheng quite loved her as well.
Anyway, she told her sons that it was time that they are married.
Both boys said that they were not ready.
Knowing that she can’t force them in that subject, she started telling Ji Zheng that she heard so much about Tian Qi from Ruyi. She said that it would be good if Ji Zheng could give the doctor to her so Tian Qi could look after her, now that she was getting older. This would also be good for Ru Yi who had taken a liking to the young doctor.
With this explanation, Ji Zheng could not really say ‘no’ to his mother.
He was going to see Tian Qi about it but he got the news that Tian Qi was under quarantine.
Tian Qi had colluded with Dr. Ding about inducing the chickenpox ailment so that she does not have to transfer to Madam Ji’s mansion immediately.
Dr. Ding agreed because he was the one who told her the gossip that Madam Ji was meant to have her killed.
Ji Zheng found out that Tian Qi had the pox. Despite the quarantine, he forced his way into the sick Tian Qi’s room. He then told Dr Ding that he will look after Tian Qi.
Meanwhile, Ji Zheng was aching to see Tian Qi but it would look bad if he actually did.
Episode 14
Rumours were abound that there was an unseemly relationship between Ji Zheng and Tian Qi.
Chen Wu Yong did not waste any time conveying this to Madam Ji. He also mentioned that Tian Qi seemed to latch on to men very easily and even General Ji was not averse in protecting the young doctor.
Chen also mentioned that he heard Tian Qi was a hoodoo. The faster they get rid of him the better.
Ji Zheng was in town and had met with his friend Sheng Zhaofeng, who took him to a brothel to prove that the rumours were baseless.
Zhoufeng had told them that the rumours were initiated by the son of Sun Congrui as revenge for making him sail in the river running through the town naked for all the public to see.
Meanwhile, Madam Ji called her son about Tian Qi. She said that Tian Qi was not suitable to be around Mansion Ji because she was a hoodoo.
Ji Heng, without batting an eyelid, said then they must execute Tian Qi immediately. Ji Heng then said that he used not to believe about supernatural knowledge but after meeting Hermit Yuhang he had changed his mind. Everything seemed to make sense when he was taking with Hermit Yuhang.
Madam Ji who believed in that kind of thing immediately wanted to speak to Hermit Yuhang, who said that Mansion Ji had an excellent Feng Shui. It has a pond, with plenty of carps, tall pine trees which means good fortune and posterity.
Hermit Yuhang noticed that it seemed there is was troubling Madam Ji.
Madam Ji readily said that there was.
Hermit Yuhang said that he knew that this might be someone and he would like to see the birth sign of that person.
Hermit Yuhang looked at the information and immediately said that this person was super bad luck.
Madam Ji was really troubled now.
However, Hermit Yuhang said that keeping the person very closed to the fortunate General Ji would only enhance his good luck. It would be a case of the perfect yin and yang. They go together.
Immediately, Madam Ji ordered Chen to stop the execution.
Sheng Anhui had arrested Tian Qi and was making her work round and round.
Tian Qi asked so many questions and Sheng Anhui told her that if she knew what was good for her then she should cease and desist with her many questions.
Tian Qi said can she asked a last question? General Ji was only doing this to save her from the gallows.
Ji Zheng turned up and he was powerless to do anything as he would be fighting his brother’s army.
Chen came by and announced that Madam Ji wanted the execution to be stopped.
Episode 15
Tian Qi had become a favoured commodity to Madam Ji. To protect Ji Heng she had now to protect Tian Qi as well.
Ji Zheng met Tian Qi in town again. He forced her to accept a jade token, which Tian Qi was very reluctant to take.
Ji Zheng said that he felt really helpless when he cannot save her but with his personal jade token, she just had to show it and they would know tht she was Ji Zheng’s man.
Ji Heng was contemplating how he was going to go about getting more money in terms of taxation without penalising the poor.
He said it was time that the nobility did their fair share of paying taxes. He would start with Sun Congrui.
Sheng Anhuim, the gossip, said that there was rumours going around that there was more to the friendship between Ji Zheng and Tian Qi. They were always seen in town in a rather intimate manner.
Ji Zheng was so annoyed when he found out that Tian Qi had gone out again.
He went to find her and sure enough she was with Ji Zheng and saw them holding hands.
He then followed them to a drink house and surprised them.
Ji Zheng was ordered to leave them and told off Tian Qi.
Tian Qi humbly accepted what he said. Tian Qi said that she accidentally met Ji Zheng; it was not Ji Zheng fault it is just like normal young men, Tian Qi was feeling horny and wanted to see some action. She was looking at the girls dancing seductively at the stage down below.
She looked like she was salivating which only made Ji Heng more annoyed.
He told Tian Qi that she was vulgar and nasty. She said she was horny and she had bought more stocks of porn books. She came to town today for the brothel and the porn.
On their way home, the carriage was ambushed by the son fo Sun Congrui. But Ji Heng had his men overpowered the son within seconds.
A servant who had been almost fatally poisoned was brought to Tian Qi. She had just started examining him when Miss Kang pushed and wanted Tian Qi to look at the little cut in her finger.
Tian Qi ignored her and Dr Ding said that he will see to the cut but Miss Kang wanted Tian Qi to treat her.
Tian Qi said that if she wanted her to deal with her cut then she had to wait.
Miss Kang threw money at Tian Qi but still was ignored.
Miss Kang went directly to Madam Ji to complain.
Madam Ji said that if she wanted to be married into Mansion Ji then she should stop being such a spoiled girl. How can she manage the household?
Ji Heng called both Tian Qi and Ji Zheng to see him. He asked Tian Qi what was her opinion when Ji Zheng turned down both the candidates for a marriage for him.
Tian Qi said that it had nothing to do with her. Master Zheng can marry anyone he likes.
Outside Tian Qi said that she heard a rumour that her and Ji Zheng were too close and that she had seduced him.
This seemed to please Ji Zheng and asked if she did seduce him. Awww, they do have good chemistry as well.
Episode 16
Ji Heng asked Tian Qi to be there when he speaks to Sun Congrui. However, Tian Qi became rather to full of herself because of her hidden anger toward Congrui.
When Ji Heng seemed to not punished Congrui, she called him bureaucratic.
Her mouth was almost unstable with her vitriol so Ji Heng had to punish her.
She had to kneel down where she was standing until it got dark and started raining heavily. Ji Heng told her to preceed to her room.
Before she could do, she fainted and had to be brought back to the room.
Ji Heng almost got seduced by the voice of Kang Ning’er singing but in the end, he went the opposite way.
Thinking that Ji Heng let off the Sun, Tian Qi became ultra-careful with Ji Heng which upset him.
Sheng Anhuai told Tian Qi that she must make up with Ji Heng and treat him like he was a friend again.
In the end, it was not too hard to treat him warmly again because he gave her a couple of chest of money.
Episode 17
Tian Qi was immediately happy to see the money before her. She then asked if Ji Heng regretted punishing her.
He was very surprised by her question but he said ‘no’.
Tian Qi then said that she cannot accept the money if there is no regret, then she does not deserve merit.
Ji Heng was flummoxed and said so to Sheng Anhui who was equally confused with money loving Tian Qi declining to get them.
Ji Heng, however, thought of a way to subtly apologise to Tian Qi.
He flew kites with a hidden message of regret. Tian Qi found one of the kites and went to find Ji Heng.
Sheng Anhuai was grinning giddily. He loved seeing his master looking happy despite finding that happiness with another man. What a gay and joyous life! LOL
Ji Zheng came to see Ji Heng. He told his brother that he was going to be staying permanently in town and even got himself his own mansion. The thing is that he needed people to fill the post in his manor. He would like to start by hoping that Ji Zheng can let him have Tian Qi as his assistant.
Ji Zheng started by being calm about it but ended up shouting at Ji Zheng for trying to poach Tian Qi. He said that they were already rumoured for having an immoral relationship. He does not want his brother and Tian Qi to live a life of wenching and debauchery.
Ji Zheng got annoyed as well while denying the accusation.
Ji Heng ended up ordering that Ji Zheng should be punished with the Ji Family Special.
In front of their family altar (or something) Ji Heng was about to commence lashing Ji Zheng when Tian Qi appeared and begged Ji Zheng to punish her instead because it was her fault.
She said that she bed Ji Zheng to take and employ her in his mansion.
Ji Heng ordered everyone out so he can talk with Tian Qi alone.
He then asked her why she wanted to leave.
She said, “I like you.”
Ji Heng was shocked.
Tian Qi said that what she meant that she admired Ji Heng so much that she feels so inferior next to him. He was so perfect, next to him she felt like they were cloud and mud.
It was the Dragon Ball Festival celebrating Daughter’s Day.
Tian Qi thought it would be clever to dress little Ru Yi as a girl and present him to Madam Ji who was desperate for a granddaughter.
Madam Ji was very amused and rewarded her for it.
However, they met Ji Heng outside and went ballistic when he saw his nephew dressed like a girl. He told off Tian Qiu for anything for money and she was so shameless.
He punished her to dress up like a girl.
As much as he does not want for Tian Qi to leave, Ji Heng was left no choice but to fire a reluctant Tian Qi from her post as his personal doctor to appease his brother.
Episode 18
Ji Heng sent Tian Qian to an isolated farming village to tend to an herb garden. He thought the father she was from him the better becasue the very sight of her irritated him so much.
But when she was finally out sight, Ji Heng found that he can’t sleep. He was missing her. His sleepness night became everyone serving him their problem as well. If he can’t sleep, they dare not sleep.
Sheng Anhui went to see Tian Qian to ask her to come back as the Ji Heng and everyone else had had not a good night sleep since she left.
Tian Qian thought about it but she cannot just return without being ordered by Ji Heng to return. Instead she gave a herbal pillow with her favourite gardenia flower in it to Shen Anhui to pass to Ji Heng. That should get him to sleep.
When Sheng Anhui returned to Mansion Ji, he told Ji Heng that what he saw almost broke his heart. Tian Qi was in such a sorry state. She was all skin and bones, she was wasting away from the heat on the farm.
Ji Heng felt so sorry and guilty about Tian Qi, he told Sheng Anhui that he will go to see for himself.
But when they got them, Tian Qian was anything but wasting away. She was making so much money for creating a wonder beauty product, a very moisturising mud medicinal mask that became popular with the young ladies of the village.
Dr Ding was so sure of their medicinal masks that he went back to Mansion Ji to give a sample to Kang Ning’er and Madam Ji. He was hoping Madam JI would be so impressed, she would overrule her son and bring Tian Qi and him back to Mansion Ji.
Episode 19
Mr Kang went to Tian Qi and Dr Ding’s cottage and had them both arrested for maliciously giving a poisoned medicinal masks to both Ning’er and Madam Ji.
Mr Kang was just about to paddle Tian Qi when Ji Zheng and his men arrived to stop them. He told Mr Kang that he has no right at all to exact punishment to anyone from Mansion Ji and its locality without permission from General Ji.
Anyway Ji Zheng took Tian Qi to JI Heng and he said the same thing to Mr Kang. And if he did something like that again, Ji Heng will personally torture Mr Kang.
As to the poisoning, he said to live Tian Qi with him alone to talk.
Tian Qi asked him if ever believed in her.
Ji Heng said that he only believed in evidence.
However, Tian Qi persevered. She reminded him what he previously said that in the army if someone protected you with their life, you have to return the favour.
She then left him defeated.
But her trouble was not over. She was then kidnapped by Mr Chen and taken to Sun Fan to kill and torture.
Episode 20
Chun Hua who witnessed the Tian Qi’s abduction went immediately to Ji Zheng for help.
Ji Zheng in return, went to Ji Heng for consultation of the abduction.
They both concluded that it would only be Sun Fan.
Then went to the Sun manor and right enough they found Sun Fan about to brand Ti Qian.
She was saved and she was grateful.
She then heard about Chun Hua having been beaten up and locked in a warehouse by the Kangs.
She went to see Chun Hua but she was locked in with her.
When the door next opened, it was Ji Heng who was half shocked and half jealous of Tian Qian locked in with a woman in the warehouse. He was so jealous, he did not bother to ask who locked her in with Chun Hua?
What Ji Heng asked if Chun Hua was that one, he remembered a lie she once said that she was already in love with someone.
Ji Heng said that Tian Qi and Chun Hua do not have to hide in some obscure places because he will arrange a marriage between Tain Qi and Chun Hua.
Chun Hua was rather happy about it.
Tian Qi begged and begged Sheng Anhui to let her see Ji Heng just once.
When she saw him, she asked JI Heng why suddenly he seemed to hate her. She thought they had become friends at least.
Ji Heng felt cornered. He said that the simplest reason was that he doesn’t need her anymore. She was now useless to him.
This really hurt Tian Qi and she doesn’t have a comeback for it so she said that she was now formally giving him a final goodbye because she doesn’t know whether she will see him again.
What she does not know was that he can’t really say what he wanted to say that he thinks he’s gay because he likes her. Hohoho.
Anyway, the Kangs can’t seem to stop themselves from plotting more dastardly acts.
Kang Ning’er drugged Ji Heng when she asked him to go drinking with her.
In his drunk/drugged state, he started seeing a girl Tian Qi in the body of Ninger. He started hugged Tian Qi tightly and then he came to his senses and saw Ning’er who he said drugged him.
He then stumbled out into Tian Qi room. Tian Qi at that moment had her hair down.
She was shocked to see him and he was as shocked to see that she was a girl. Then he fainted.
Ji Zheng was there immediately to take control of the situation before Ji Heng’s guards came looking for him.
When Ji Heng woke up from his rather seductive dream about Tian Qi, he was happy and order Sheng Anhui to get Tian Qi.
Sheng Anhui said that that might be difficult at Tian Qi was getting wed to Chun Cha.
Ji Heng ordered to cancel the wedding.
Episode 21 – She is a Girl
Yep, finally, in this episode, JI Heng was sure tath Tian Qi was a girl.
It was not easy for him to find out because in the beginning, Tian Qi was a few steps ahead of him. She asked Auntie Ye what she needed ot do to make him doubt what he believed he saw whe he was drugged.
Auntie Ye gave her a leather vest that would like she had the body of a man. It was hilarious when she started touching her chest and encouraging JI Heng to touch her muscular chest as well.
Ji Heng’s face was a masterpiece of shock and indecision.
He actually beginning to doubt what he saw. So just to confirm, he started staking her and while she was having a wash by the riverside he found her combing her long dark hair and then she removed her top. He saw a band across her breast area to obviously flatten her chest.
Ji Heng had never been happier in his life. He was like a jockey on his horse having won the race.
He started self-analyzing himself that he liked Tian Qi because deep down he had an inkling that she was a girl. He was instinctively reacting to her feminine gender. (he is was really in denial that he might be gay) the hilarious bit was that he also started thinking that, maybe Sheng Anhui might also be a woman because he also likes him and trusted him. Ji Hnegn imagining Sheng Anhui dressed as a woman whit a mustache was so funny.
After he was sure that Tian Qi was a girl, he tried to keep away from her and then realized he can’t.
Episode 22
Having inspired by Sheng Anhui’s pronouncement that if he could bring back time, he would have seized the moment and declared his love to someone.
Bearing this in mind, Ji Heng courted Tian Qi forcefully until she can say know. And before she knew it she was wearing a dress and spent the day being so cute and sweet together and free.
Ji Heng had given all the servants a day-off.
But Little Ru Yi came home early and witnessed his Uncle Ji Heng kissing Tian Qi who was dressed in a dress over a romantic backdrop of fireworks.
Ru Yi innocently told everything to his grandma, Madam JI, who was so scandalised that her son was kissing a boy in drag. LOL
She went to see Tian Qi but found her about to be kissed by her son. She was demented with shock. Asking her son how can she fave their Ancestor Ji? Her son likes boys.
Madam Ji ordered that Tian Qi should be killed at once.
But suddenly Ji Zheng was there and ready to protect Tian Qi as well.
Madam JI quickly realised that she does not only one gay son, both her sons had been seduced by Tian Qi.
Finally, both boys took pity on their mother and they simultaneously said that Tian Qi was a girl.
Madam Ji calmed down a bit but got worried because it meant Tian Qi lied at the academy. The king will be upset.
Episode 23
Madam Ji gave the brothers ultimatum regarding Tian Qi. They either report her to the King and let the king punished the girl that fooled the academy or ask Tian Ji to leave Ji Mansion.
Ji Hen objected. He said he would neither report to the king nor ask Tian Qi to leave the manor. That was final.
His mother was so annoyed, she told everything to her assistant, Commander Chen Yu Wong, who started plotting what he was going to do.
And what he did was try to kill Tian Qi, who had now turned into a beautiful girl.
Tian Qi had always been a resourceful girl, so she had a vial of powder that she spread on Chen Wuyong.
Tian Qi was rescued by Ji Zheng and then Ji Hen and yet a masked Chen Wuyong still got away. Tian Qi was sure though that the man was Chen Wuyong and that she saw the bite mark on his arm she gave him when she was a little girl after he killed her parents.
Ji Hen said that Chen Wuyong was probably realised who she was, who her parents were and was trying to kill her or Madam Ji had ordered Chen Wu Yong to kill Tian Qi.
Poor Ji Zheng was rather sad to know how loving to each other Ji Hen and Tian Qi were, though he had already given them his blessing.
Ji Zheng went drinking with his friend, Shaofeng, who came him a document that said Madam Ji had his mother killed to protect her son, Ji Hen.
That was such sad a sad scene between Ji Zheng and Madam Ji. Ji Zheng asked Madam Ji about his real mother and was it true that she forced his mother to commit suicide?
Madama Ji was shocked to find out but she was honest. She said that her husband had fallen in love with his concubine and would like make her son, Ji Zheng, his favoured son.
So she made the concubine make a choice: kill herself or kill Ji Zheng.
Ji Zheng was heartbroken that his mother had to kill herself because of him.
He then unsheathed his dagger and threatened to kill her. She closed her eyes and told him to do it but he must not take his anger on Ji Heng, who had always thought of him as a real brother.
Ji Zheng was about to slash Madam Ji’s throat but he remembered all the times that she was so loving and kind to her. She did treat her like her own. So he said he can’t be with her anymore. This was so sad, I was crying.
Meanwhile, Ji Heng found out where Chen Wu Yong was hiding.
Chen Wu Yong readily confessed why he wanted to kill Tian Qi. It was for the Ji Family, for Madam Ji to be precise.
Chen Wu Yong recounted that Shen Young (Tian Qi’s father) knew of the forced poisoning of the concubine. So Madam Ji ordered that any witness should be terminated.
Ji Heng realised that his first love, Zhao’er was Tian Qi all along.
Episode 24
Ji Heng was disgusted and heartbroken to find out what length his mother would go to to protect him. But he said that since it was because of him, he will sort it out.
Poor guy was having nightmares about it, including seen in the dream that Zhao’er can’t forgive him she stabbed.
Ji Heng felt so guilty towards Tian Qi that he started getting out of her way, even pretending that he was away.
Ji Zheng got to Tian Qi and asked who her parents were.
He was so shocked he went to his brother immediately and confronted him that he was sweeping what Chen Wu Yong did under the carpet.
JI Zheng told tian qi that Chen Wu Yong was in the dungeon of Mansion Ji.
So she went there with her uncle to find out about her parents’ murder. Ji Zheng turned up and save them from the guard.
Chen Wu Yong lied and said that Ji Heng was the one who ordered him to kill her parents.
She could not believe it, not Ji Heng but Ji Zheng that it was true.
Episode 25 The Revenge stabbing
Ji Heng finally had a confrontation with Tian Qi about her parents. She said that she hated him and can’t forgive him.
He said that he loved her and that he can’t lose her again.
He started walking towards her while she was holding a dagger. She then stabbed him and yet he kept begging her to not leave him.
Madam Ji went to see Tian Qi at the dungeon where she was locked up. She told Tian Qi that Ji Heng had nothing to do with her parents’ death.
Meanwhile Ji Zheng spoke to Madam Ji and told her that he was going to fight Ji Heng and the winner takes all or he would take Tian Qi away.
Madam Ji said to take Tian Qi away after she went to speak to Tian Qi again to ask her if she regretted stabbing Ji Heng.
Tian Qi said no, she was revenging her parents.
Ji Zheng was in a carriage leaving Mansion JI . He realise that it would be hard to make Tian Qi to like him and forget Ji Heng.
JI Heng woke up finally but he looked like death warmed up. He said that without Tian Qi, he might as well be dead.
Shaofeng was finally revealed as the villainous white robe master.
Episode 26
Tian Qi realised that despite General Ji ordering the death of her parents, she still loved him and did not want him to die.
She also found out that Ji Zheng was not the boy she met when she was still a little girl. It was Ji Heng in fact.
Episode 27
Madam Ji prayed to Buddha that if her son gets better she will live a life of utter piousness. She will become a nun.
Tian Qi went to get Aunt Hong to help cure Ji Heng.
Ji Heng, however, refused to take in his medication or had lost the will to live.
Until Tian Qi took over. She sipped some of the medication and pass it to the half-conscious Ji Heng by mouth to mouth. The onlookers including Madam Ji were amazed that Ji Heng was responding.
Madam Ji realised that the young lovers loved each other very much, more than the lovers know themselves.
When Ji Heng got better, he can’t find Tian Qi, who had been told by Ning’er to go away.
Ning’er pretended that she was the one who nursed Ji Heng.
Ji Heng told her to go away.
Shaofeng had Tian Qi kidnapped.
Episode 28 The Finale
Shaofeng and Ji Zheng had conspired to finish off Ji Heng.
Ji Heng was in his full armour attire, ready to battle it out with Ji Zheng to stop him marrying Tian Qi.
Madam Ji gave her blessing to her son to get Tian Qi/Zhao’er.
The marriage procession was just starting when Ji Heng interrupted. Saying he was there to come for his wife. He unveiled the bride and found that it was not Tian Qi.
All the confusion turned into a farce and ended with Ji Heng stabbing Ji Zheng with his sword.
Shaofeng was so happy with the outcome. One Ji brother down, next Ji Heng.
He then ordered his minions to bring out Tian Qi.
Shaofeng put a dagger next to Tian Qi’s neck. He told Ji Heng that it was either Tian Qi or him. To save Tian Qi, he had to kill himself.
Ji Heng said he will end his life that Shaofeng had to promise not to harm Tian Qi.
He then unsheathed his sword and threw it in the sky which was a signal for the lone arrow man stationed by the rood to shoot at Shaofeng.
Shaofeng was hit and then the seemingly dead Ji Zheng stood up and finished off Shaofeng with a thrust of his sword. He said that thanks to Ji Heng’s supper supple leather vest, he was unharmed. The blood came from his hands which he used to hold off the blade of the sword.
They told Shaofeng that no matter what upheavals the brothers have in their personal life, they were soldiers and would work to defend their county.
When all was settled and Ji Zheng had Tian Qi in his arms, Tian Qi got annoyed to find out that they left her out of their plans. She marched out in a huff.
Ji Zheng went to see Tian Qi and told her that he was leaving to go traveling. He said that he was so glad that he had met and loved her because she brought him a lot of happiness. He said that he realised that Ji Heng will only be the one in her heart and he wishes them both well.
Ji Heng work on getting Tian Qi back. They are so cute.
Aunt Hong, knowing that Tian Qi really loved Ji Heng but really playing it cool advised Ji Heng to work at the bordello as a servant.
He then turn up one morning and started cleaning. Tian Qi was scandalised to see General Ji scrubbing the floor. He was polishing banisters, he was a waiter, serving drinks.
Ji Heng, being gorgeous, became so popular with the ladies of the brothel. They surrounded him and they were cooing and wooing over him when Tian Qi can’t take it much longer. She pulled Ji Heng away from them and told them “He is mine.”
Oooohhhhhh so cute.
Then they had their wedding. Ji Zheng watched secretly from the roof and was eventually happy that the two most important people in his life are now together. Oooh. Love him as well.
Now the wedding night. Ji Heng could not wait to get started.
Instead of drinking wine from two cups with their arms entwined, Ji Heng only served one cup which he said should be their routine in the future. They will be always working as one. :). Always be together.
Well the naughty bits of the wedding night. They were both naked in bed covered only with a blanket.
Tian Qi asked Ji Heng what should they do next?
Ji Heng wickedly revealed the booklet of kama sutra she gave him. So cute.
Few months later….
They were in the market when Ji Heng was accosted by a couple of females wanting to know if he was married.
The loved-up Ji Heng said yes and his beautiful wife was right behind them.
Ji Heng and Tian Qi ended up by the bridge. They could not be happier and yes then can at a stratospheric level because Tian Qi whispered that he was going to be a father.
Ji Heng was confused at first as how? She said in a few months’ time they were going to have a baby.
He quickly got over his shock and hugged Tian Qi tightly and then shouted that he was going to be a father.
Rumour has it that this drama is slated for 16 January 2020 showing.
Episode 1
It started with some beautiful panoramic scenes where Jiang Feng (Hu Yi Tian) was driving a carriage with a pregnant woman inside.
Then suddenly there was a cock on top of a tree and then a black pig on the ground. Jiang Feng had to turn the carriage around because he knew that they were going to be ambushed by the Twelve Zodiac gang.
The gang suddenly appeared. They looked so naff, it made me think whether I wanted to continue watching. Really bothered me at first but then I saw Hu Yi Tian with his flowing locks and whiter than white hanfu and then he started flying all over the place with his sword and before I knew it I started really enjoying this first episode.
Jiang Feng was engaged or probably even married to YaoYue of Yihua Palace.
But he fell in love with one of the palace maid, Yuenu, and made her pregnant.
So they were running away and was going to meet his brother Yan Natian, who was looking forward to seeing them as well as becoming an uncle. Yan Natian was the world’s best divine swordman.
During the fight, one of the zodiac gangs got into the carriage and was about to kill the pregnant Yuenu but she used her out of this world Yihua Jade Swapping Palm move which scared the gang so much they went away.
But the Swapping Palm move sent Yuenu to early contraction and had the baby or rather two babies prematurely. The babies are both boys and are fraternal twins. As Jiang Feng puts it, one looks like Yuenu and the other looks like him.
After a while, they continued on with their journey to meet Brother Yan, who at that time met a servant who told him that Jiang Feng had some travel technical difficulties so they should meet at San Sheng Temple instead.
When Brother Yan got there, Jiang Feng wasn’t there so Brother Yan waited.
In the meantime, Jiang Feng and Yuenu were accosted again by the Twelve zodiac gang.
This time they were able to really injure Jiang Feng and Yuenu.
They were about to kill the twins first but a powerful martial artist suddenly descended upon them. She was Lady Lian Xing of Yihua Palace. She was able to overpower the gang in no time.
Then she castigated both Jiang Feng and Yuenu for what they had done.
It turned out that because Jiang Feng was uber-gorgeous they all fell in love with him, including Lady Lian Xing.
Lian Xing said that she gave way to her sister Yaoyue because her sister loved Jiang Feng so much more and had done so much for him.
Jiang Feng said he can’t help himself. Yuenu got into his soul. She made him realised that there was a difference between love (for Yuenu) and gratitude (for Yaoyue).
At that point, Yao yue herself turned up and said that she heard everything. She immediately ordered Yuenu to kill herself if she wanted Jiang Feng to be saved from his fatal injuries.
Without complaint, Yuenu stabbed herself to death.
Jiang Feng was so upset he killed himself as well by pressing on his life point.
Now, Lian Xing was gutted. She said to her sister that it should have not ended hat way.
Yaoyue angrily said that she hated them with a passion, and showed her arm to Lian Xing which was full of pinpricks. She had been self-harming to control her hatred for the couple.
Lian Xing felt so sorry for her sister. They concocted a plan to separate the twins as a revenge to the dead Jiang Feng.
Brother Yan met the constabulary who asked him what was he doing at SanSheng Temple?
Brother Yan realised that he was blindsided and went to look for Jiang Feng.
He saw bodies near a lake which included Jiang Feng and Yuenu. He then heard an infant crying.
Brother Yan found the dog and the monkey of the Twelve zodiac gang. After some fighting, the monkey told him that they did hurt Jiang Feng but they were ordered to by Jiang Qin. Jiang Qin was a ward of Jiang Feng.
Jiang Qin is now hiding at Wicked Canyon by Kunlun Mountain. It was a treacherous trek to the Wicked Canyon as whoever goes there will never return dead or alive.
Brother Yan was determined to avenge his brother.
Episode 2
Brother Yan went to the Wicked Canyon against advice by authorities. He took with him the baby.
At first, he was welcomed at Wicked Canyon for being Sima Yan. He was offered a feast. Fatty, the bandit, tasted the food first to show Brother Yan that it was not poisoned.
Brother Yan thought that it was better that he pretended that he was Sima Yan and not antagonize the people so he could ask and find Jiang Qin.
But when he had finished eating all the food, fatty suddenly told him that it was drugged and any moment he will feel the effect of it.
When he woke up, he was tied up in beef rope and met all sorts of strange villainous characters like the Tomboy, a pretty woman who can talk like a man. There was also the cannibal, the ghostly man, and the steel fingered man. They all wanted to kill Brother Yan because Sima Yan had let it be known that Brother Yan had come to Wicked Canyon to kill every single one of the residents.
Brother Yan was the world’s best swordsman but there were too many of them and he got distracted trying to find the missing baby.
In the end, he got beaten up so badly that he was more or less left in a vegetative state.
The doctor in charge of Wicked Canyon asked the villains to allow him to experiment on Brother Yan. He had 10,000 herbs to test which someday might even save the villains’ lives.
So Brother Yan was put in a vat of warm water with herb and acupuncture needles all over him.
The villains had decided against killing the baby, instead, they agreed to look after him and turn him to the most dangerous villain of all.
They named him Xiao Yu’er and they put him through the most heinous experiences they could think of. And he grew up such a prankster who started making their lives so frenzied with dangerous surprises and now they are paying for all the things they did to young Yu’er.
When Xiao Yuer was just a boy, a masked woman ninja had told him that his real father was called Jiang Feng and that he was killed by Yihua palace and he must take revenge on them.
Xiao Yu’er is now a grown-up boy.
Episode 3
I hope this drama will pick up the pace because at the moment it is on the tad boring.
Dr Wan asked Xiao Yu’er if he remembered the person who told him that his father was Jiang Feng and that it was Yihua Palace who instigated the death of his parents.
Xiao Yu’er and Dr Wan were puzzling over who could have been the person who was able to get into the Wicked Canyon without being detected.
There were only three possible candidates with good enough martial arts who could be it. One is Brother Yan and the other two were from Yihua Palace itself: Lian Xiang and Yaoyue.
Meanwhile, the villainous group had decided that Xiao Yu’er was getting out of control and therefore they had done their job. The boy is now ready to be released into society to create havoc and mayhem as they had planned all along.
They pack a little something for Xiao Yu’er including a tonne of gold leaves for money.
Xiao Yu’er was only to happy to go.
The Villains actually felt rather sad to see him go. He was their tortured baby.
This was now 18 years since Jiang Feng and Yuenu were killed.
Brother Yan is still in a semi-comatose state in a warm herbal vat of water.
Aunt Lian Xiang, came to visit the Hua Wu Que in his manor. He had grown into the spitting image of his father, Jiang Feng.
Aunt Lian Xiang was so overwhelmed with longing for Jiang Feng that she asked Wu Wue to hug her which confused the boy.
Aunt Lian Xiang apologised and said that he reminded her of a good friend.
Aunt Lian Xiang took Wu Que to see Lady Yaoyue, who like Lian Xiang, was taken aback by how Wu Que looked so much like Jiang Feng.
She had not seen the Wu Que for five years so she did not know that he would be a carbon copy of Jiang Feng.
She told Jiang Feng that he was now ready to leave Yihua Palace to look for Jiang Xiaoyu, who killed his father Jiang Feng.
Wu Que got used to obeying everything Yaoyue orders because he had been trained through punishment to obey everything without any question.
When Wu Que had left, Lian Xiang begged her sister to reconsider. It had been eighteen years.
Yaoyue reminded Lian Xiang what she did for Jiang Feng. She looked after him for ten years and had healed him from his illness using her power and energy. She was with him day and night and thought they were happy. Then one day one of the maids disappeared and Jiang Feng with her.
Lian Xiang does realise why her sister was so vengeful. The distance between love and hate is nothing at all.
Episode 4
Wu Que was like a fish out of water in the Capital. He was rather naive and trusted everyone and believed in giving second chances even to those who did him wrong against the better judgment of his two female bodyguards. He believes that there was something intrinsically good in everyone.
Then he was disabused of this notion when an innkeeper tried to do him harm many times. He finally accepted that evil lurks in the martial arts world.
Meanwhile, Xiao Yu’er was so happy to be out of the Wicked Canyon, he was free.
He even becomes happier when he met Tao Hiu who was so friendly, she invited him to celebrate the grand bazaar with her family.
Xiao Yu’er even thought of probably marrying her.
With all the golds he was given by the Villains, he was taken advantage of by the vendors. Tao Hiu told him off for leaving her and not have someone to barter for good for him, ergo, he was taken advantage of.
But not for long because the vendors came to find him with more goods. This time Yu’er swindled them and when they complained, he beat them up.
He then left but followed by a young man, Tie Xin Lan, (but really a woman) who told him that he is a great martial artist and he wanted Xiao Yu’er to be his disciple.
Xiao Yu’er declined and said that he can be his disciple instead.
They had a bit of a fight that Tie Xin Lan won but Xiao Yu’er learned so much from the Villains that he was able to trick Tie Xin Lan into agreeing to become his disciple instead.
Then Tao Hiu came by to asked Xiao Yu’er to save her family as bandits had arrived to kill everyone unless someone called Tie was produced.
Xiao Yu’er was not interested as it had nothing to do with him.
Tie Xin Lan promised Yu’er that he will return but he had to help Tao Hui first.
Apparently Tie Xin Lan had something that everyone including Zhang Jing, wanted to have.
Episode 5
Tie Xi Lan finally confessed to Xiao Yu’er that the thing that everyone wanted was actually not with her but with her friend. She just said that she had it so people will come after her rather than her friend.
Xiao Yu’er asked what it was?
Tie Xi Lan said that it was a treasure map.
Yu’er laughed dismissively about a treasure map. He said he was not interested in any treasure. it was easy to get if he wanted to but he doesn’t.
Tie Xi Lan drugged him so he doesn’t muck up the job she had to do.
She quickly found out that Yu’er was so wily that she ended up drinking the drugged water herself.
Yu’er was about to frisk Tie Xi Lan when she sleepily said don’t which made him curious and realised that Tie Xi Lan was a girl.
Tie Xi Lan said that she was going to Wicked Canyon to find someone.
Yu’er told her that he knew everyone at the Canyon as he grew there.
Tie Xi Lan was looking for Tie Zhan, One of the Ten Great Villains, Mad Lion.
Yu’er told her not to bother going to the Wicked Canyon because Mad Lion had not been there. He was probably dead. It turned out that Mad Lion might be her father.
Hua Wu Que was an expert martial artist but was rather naive, having been brought up in a secluded part of the Yihua Palace.
His mission was to find and kill Jiang Xiao.
On his way to search for his target with his two sidekicks, they met Samwang, who told them that Jiang Xiao was currently in a dilapidated inn just outside the town.
Samwang took them to the inn but when he got there Wu Que noticed immediately that it was an ambush as Samwang’s men turned up to kill him.
Samwang said that it was in revenge of Wu Que’s murdering all innocent people at another inn.
Wu Que said that it was a mistake, someone was using his name.
Samwang was not too happy but he gave Wu Que the benefit of the doubt.
Episode 6
The Little Fairy continued to hunt for Xi Lan and Yu’er because of the treasure map.
Xi Lan said that the Little Fairy can be brutal but not intrinsically a bad girl. It was just that she adored the owner of the treasure map.
Yu’er almost disinterestedly asked who the owner of the map.
When Xi Lan said it was Yan Nan Tian, the master of the sword, Yu’er suddenly became alert.
Xi Lan continued that the treasures would have included the swordplay manual.
Yu’er said that whoever owns the manual will become the strongest person in the world.
Hu Yi Tian is so gorgeous but I have to say his acting initially is rather wooden. That perplexed look he had perfected during A Love So Beautiful makes him looked rather vacant in this drama. Hope he improves during the course of this drama.
Anyway, Wu Que passed the Tianhong Clan territory and was invited to stay.
Master Feng was so chuffed to have such an auspicious guest from Yihua Palace that he said he was going to gift Wu Que the family heirloom. But when he opened the case it was empty.
Master Feng went ballistic. The Duyou Sword is gone.
Wu Que heard that the missing item was the Duyou Sword, he then mentioned that he saw it just a few days ago. He fought with the ‘owner ‘of the sword.
Master Feng asked who it was.
Wu Que said that it was Qin Zi Ling of Quanshan Clan.
Immediately Master Feng and his people went to Quanshan Clan’s manor and had a fight with Qin Zi Ling and his men.
Master Feng was a good fighter and would have probably defeated Qin Zi Ling if young Miss Feng did not intervene.
She was made a hostage which allowed Qin Zi Ling to get away.
But not quite far away because he ran into Wu Que.
They ended up fighting but again Miss Feng was there to intervene.
Apparently Miss Feng and Qin Zi Ling were dating and had been in love for quite a while. And like Romeo and Juliet, their clans hated each other.
Miss Feng also confided that she gave the Duyou Sword to Qin Zi Ling as a love token.
Anyway, Wu Que asked why they had not eloped?
Miss Feng said they had plans of eloping but they had to fulfill their filial obligations first. And in three days, she and Qin Zi Ling will get away to travel the world.
Wu Que was an old romantic, so he decided to seek longer hospitality from Master Feng and stay for a few more days to see how the elopement of the young couple would pan out.
Master Feng had ambitions for his daughter. He then asked his daughter to make lotus soup and bring it to Wu Que in the dead of the night. She was advised to seduce Mr Hua.
Episode 7
OMG!
This episode was straight out of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
Anyway, Bai Yu Feng finally eloped with Qi Zilliang.
They agreed to meet at Qi Zilliang’s clan manor at the early hours of the morning.
But when she got there, she was immediately pounced on by the guards and tied to a torture rack.
She was already bloodied by the slashes she was received by the order of Zilliang’s father.
He said that she was an evil woman seducing his son.
Zilliang then appeared, also all bruised and bloodied and it looks like he also received some form of punishment.
Anyway, he begged his father not to Bai Yu anymore and to let her go.
The father said that he will never agree to a marriage between his clan to the clan of the evil woman.
Anyway, it just going around and around in circle, unitl Hua Wu Que appeared. He said that he should allow the young couple to get married as they love each other.
Still the father would not agree to be affiliated to the barbarian father in law and an evil woman daughter in law. The father said that their clan was proud for being righteous and it was written on their board hanging by the roof of their manor. The board had been there and was a pride of generations of righteous heads of Qi Family.
Wu Que reminded the father that he was not being righteous now so he took the board down.
The father was so desperate to get the board back that he agreed to the marriage finally of his son to Bai Yu Feng.
At the wedding venue, Master Feng was as excited as the bride, his daughter.
It was announced by their guard that Zilling had come along to return the Duyou sword.
As Mr Feng promised he insisted that Wu Que accept the gift as a sign of gratitude for all he had done for her daughter and her intended’s family.
Mr Feng asked Wu Que to check the sword. As he unsheaths the sword a good dusting of poison few into the air affecting everyone nearby.
Wu Que knew immediately that they had been poisoned and ordered that the least they move the poison will not travel to their system quicker.
Zilling’s father finally turned up and was about to kill everyone but by this time Wu Que had freed himself of debilitating poison.
He managed to convince Zilling’s father to make up with the in-laws by giving them the antidote, but he would not agree to it so Wu Que ordered his assistant to forcibly take the antidote from the father.
Zilling’s father was too much so wu Que said that he might as well kill him and be done with it.
Bai Yu stood in front of the soon to be father-in-law and begged Wu Que to cease and desist with the killing.
Anyway, the father in law seemed impressed with the girl that he allowed himself to be ushed to the wedding room.
But as soon as he saw the Zilling generation board draped in red wedding ribbons, he went mental and destroyed the board.
He then said that even if the Jade king had to appear there and then, he would still refuse to consent to a wedding between his son and the evil woman. He then pressed his life point by his throat and then keeled over dead.
Poor Zilling blamed himself for his father’s suicide so he cut his throat as well.
Poor Bai Yu started believing that she must be truly an evil woman so she should not remain alive. She picked the same sword Zilling used to kill himself and used it on her throat as well.
The most traumatised with this succession of suicide was Wu Que that he dropped his weapon of mass destruction (his fan)
He could not believe in human behavior.
Episode 8
Yu’er and Xin Lan stopped at a restaurant/inn for lunch. They met a very accommodating restaurant owner who promised to make them food, though it would be simple it would be filling and tasty.
When they got their food, Xin Lan could not wait to start on the aromatic rice dish.
Yu’er for some reason stopped her from eating and turned her bowl upside down and sure enough, there was a baby snake among the rice grains. He immediately went to the kitchen and found the two cooks dead.
They went chasing for the snake man who was hard to locate as he has the ability to camouflage. Poor Yu’er got bitten by a dead snake.
Xin Yan immediately hugged him to herself and told him not to die on her, not to leave her.
Snakeman, who was really Lord Bishe finally showed himself when Yu’er said that if he did not appear soon, he would swallow the treasure map.
Snakeman appeared and was threatening him for the map and even pushed Xin Lan rather hard when she went to defend Yu’er.
Yu’er swallowed the map but snake-man said the snake was not his only expertise, he was also good at cutting up people.
But before he could use his sword on Yu’er, Miss Jiu appeared.
Miss Jue is a beautiful girl from the Murong Clan.
She is the youngest of the famous martial artists nine Murong Sisters.
With her at the Murong mansion was Gu Renyu as a prospective suitor.
Miss Jui is so pretty and very accomplished with martial arts, even better according to her than the Little Fairy that she had become rather arrogant and dismissive of others.
And Yu’er was a bit of a trial with her because he was not taking her self-importance seriously.
As Yu’er was still recovering from his snake bite, Miss Jui allowed him and Xin Lan to stay the night.
Yu’er got a bit worried and nervous when Xin Lan was getting ready to go to bed. He likes her but he was not ready for any commitment yet so he ran away.
He ended up at Miss Jiu’s bedroom where he heard her talking to Renyu to arrange for the Little Fairy to be ready and waiting outside the manor when she throws out Yu’er.
Miss Jiu made Renyu promised that in case Little Fairy failed to kill Yu’er then Renyu had to kill him, otherwise Renyu is not welcome at the Murong Manor anymore.
Yu’er went to look for a place that he could hide, he was sure that there is such a place in Murong as it occupies a large area.
He ended up in a huge room with secret locked doors. The first room had the secret pills that Mis Jiu had concocted. She is also well known for her medicinal herbal knowledge.
Yu’er found that the pills tasted so good, he did not stop at one or two or three. In fact, he ate all the pills that he could find. After a while, he felt really hot. He found another locked door where cold air seemed to be coming out. He went into the room immediately and surprised to find Miss Jiu in a very uncomfortable position. She was upside down doing her training for the Rock Altering cultivation.
Yu’er removed all the posters showing the different positions for the training. He said that Miss Jiu did not need that crap because she might actually turn into stone. As it is, she was already very cold and hard-hearted.
Yu’er was really desperate to cool down so he jumped over the fence into the outside forest straight to the waiting Little Fairy.
She was just about to kill him when Miss Jiu stopped her.
Little Fairy asked why she stopped her. And Miss Jiu said that he was still officially her guest.
They started arguing until Little Fairy said you have got a crush on him.
Miss Jiu said that it was Little Fairy who had a crush on Yu’er.
They then noticed that their crush in no longer there.
So cute.
