Episode 1 – 2

Lee Jung Hoon is a popular news anchor who had been tasked to interview a rising star who is very influential.

Lee Jung Hoon was not enthusiastic to do the interview because he does serious broadcasts but the powers that be insisted.

The star is Ha Jin who only had to wear a new shade of lipstick and it would be sold out within hours.  Even a hairclip she overlooked to remove to keep away her fringe sold out within minutes.

Lee Jung Hoon is good with his job because he has hyperthymesia which makes him remember an excessive amount of facts and figures.

Ha Jin was excited to meet Lee Jung Hoon who she thinks is cool.

When they did finally meet, Lee Jung Hoon was not impressed with Ha Jin because he found that she has a helping of alcohol in her coffee before the live interview.

He tried to get along with her, nevertheless, to make her comfortable.

During the interview, he then went for the jugular.  He commented that she was big about being honest but then after looking at her social media accounts, she says about loving a certain product and then changing her mind after a week and then going back to it again.  And then endorsing a politician and then changing her mind.  He said that it was dishonest to her many followers.

Poor Ha Jin was not really given time to rebut because he was talking too much until she said about remembering only 5 at a time so she could count in one hand or something.

This literally stopped him.  For a minute, he was catatonic, unmoving and the director had to scrumple for something to cover the ‘dead’ minute.

Junghoon was deep in the memory of his first love who used to say about being able to remember only five things at a time, etc.  The first love was dead and he can’t get over her.

Because they had to put a filler during the interview, viewers speculated that Ha Jin walked out because she did not like what Junghoon said to her.

This was not the truth so to apologise to her the producer asked her to have a drink where Junghoon will formally apologise to her.

Junghoon did not want to apologise but they were photographed together and it trended that they were dating.

Hajin was loving this new turn of even.

Episode 3

For two weeks they had to pretend to be a couple.

Junghoon asked Hajin if she knew Jung Seo Yun.

Hajin said she never heard of her, she then asked him who Seo Yun was.

Yoo Tae Eun, Junghoon best friend and neurologist, confirmed to him that Hajin knew of Seo Yun.

In fact, Ha Jin who used to be called Hana was Seo Yun’s best friend since they were little girls studying ballet together.

They were inseparable until Hayin had to leave to study abroad (?).

Junghoon remembered that Seo Yun mentioned Hana so much when they were dating.

Then she died.

Hajin could not take her death and was like a shell for months, just like Junghoon really.

Yoo Tae Eun treated Hana and gave her sleeping pills but Hana took so many to kill herself.  Thank goodness, her sister, Ha Kyung, found her in time and saved her.

Strangely, when Hana came to from her coma, she became a different person,  brighter and more optimistic but she had forgotten all of her memory of Seo Yun.  Apparently, this is a coping mechanism to survive.

Junghoon sympathised with her condition and asked himself who is more pathetic, someone like him who remembers everything or someone like Hajin who had to forget to be able to live.

Junghoon asked Yoo Tae Eun what would happen to Hajin if she remembers everything.

Yoo Tae Eun said that it would be bad, it is more or less back to square one for Hajin.

Hajin asked Junghoon if they could prolong their fake relationship.

Junghoon said he had no problem with it.

Episode 4

I like this drama because of the likable cast but I find the pacing too slow.

A relationship with Hajin is not too problematic for Junghoon because she knows her boundary and not being clingy.

So it was tolerable for Junghoon.

Then he received a message that Hajin might be a victim of a stalker, so he drove fast to look for Hajin and then had a death-defying time crossing busy traffic.  When he saw Hajin, he took her in his arms.

Fearful that she was having the same faith as Seo Yun who was stalked to her death.

Episode 5

Hajin explained that the men with her were nice despite her crashing into their car.  They were so kind and told her that they actually coming back after watching her films.

Junghoon told her not to trust just anyone even if he kind.

Hajin found him really more personable which surprised her because they were only having a fake relationship.  But she was deliriously excited when Junghoon introduced himself to the guys as her boyfriend.

Junghoon warned Ha Kyung that there might be a stalker following Hajin.  He told her to be careful and be watchful of Hajin.

Ha Kyung did not waste any time, she hired several bodyguards for her sister, who was rather uncomfortable.

Hajin was on a date with Junghoon when the stalker got into Hajin’s house.  The stalker was still there when Junghoon drove Hajin home.

Hajin was telling Junghoon that there was something wrong with her brain that she forgets some things in her life that she shouldn’t when her assistant turned up because her sister was going to be late.

Junghoon then noticed someone skulking in the background and gave chase.  It was a reporter.

Hajin alone in the house as her assistant followed Junghoon heard a noise upstais.  She went to investigate and found her bedroom’s balcony door opened.
