This drama will be a side story of Go Go Squid. And this will be the love story that was already developing between Wu Bai and Appledog in Go Go Squid.
While Hu Yi Tian will reprise his role as Wu Bai, Li Yitong will take over the role of Appledog from Wang Zeng Er.

According to photos released Tong Nian and Gun will have a double wedding with Dt and Appledog.
I have to say that this drama get more interesting for me because Wang Anyu will be there as Grunt, though there was nothing wrong with the original Grunt. He was quite handsome, what happened to the actor? Why is he not reprising his role?
Episode 1
This drama started in 2017 during a China Robot Combat Tournament where both Wu Bai and Appledog were participants. This was when they first officially as combatants.
DT had been crushing on Appledog for so many years. Then after seven years, he will go head to head with her and he couldn’t be more excited.
Despite being a sister drama to Go Go Squid, which was about E-Sport, DT.Appledog tackles robot combat competitions.
Appledog is a twice national champion of the game and expected to win for Team Solla once again.
But a newbie won against her instead. She could not believe it but she said she will never forget the name Wu Bai, the name of the newbie who won.
Wu Bai wanted to talk to her but she had disappeared. He then remembered Gun telling him that Appledog is out of bounds as she was Solo’s girlfriend.
I think this drama would take a little time of getting used to or warming to it especially if you had watched Go Go Squid.
Appledog is being played by a different actress. The original Appledog comes across as independent, capable, sophisticated and older than the rather insular or nerdy Wu Bai.
In this version, Wu Bai is not nerdy at all. He was obsessed with the new version of Appledog who seemed lonely, having self-doubt, and rather shy.
Isn’t she supposed to have been around after all she had been Solo’s lover for many years and been living with the boys of Team Solo as their big sister? Suddenly in this drama, she comes across as a blushing bride.
Anyway, they both become a part of the Chinese team to go to Singapore.
In Singapore, it became more apparent to Wu Bai that there was something wrong with his eyes.
The first episode is boring, even the half-naked Hu Yi Tian’s straight from the shower-drying his hair (so delicious in A Love So Beautiful) can’t save me from the ennui of watching this first episode. LOL
Episode 2
Solo invites ai Qing to sp but she is now over him. She looks really good but very time I see the flashbacks I still feel she doesn’t compare to the old one in go go squid 1
Anyways continuing wu bhai uses ai Qing’s technique and they both are in a very happy relationship now!!!
He also invites her to a concert by fox hu but when he happily steps in his eyes go blind. He leaves with his icecreams melting this was so dramatic LOL
Ai Qing also looked depressed.
Now Han shangyan is here!!! He is the only one who makes me watch this show but the bromance is totally different they don’t quarrel anymore
Wu bai hs surgery but it fails and tells his story with ai Qing to a girl called luo hei
And seems like this is when they start K&K which is because of ai Qing
She gets reminded of wu bai everytime she sees cats and hears the fox song.
Wu bai is going to have a second eye treatment done but before that he comes to see ai Qing and fixes the light before his house. And also paints a painting which accompanies through her hard times.
Episode 3-6
~3 years later~
now ai Qing has become into a normal worker like others her hair is long too
her manager keeps hitting on her. She meets luo hei in a seminar this little girl will bring them both together just wait
Meanwhile dt. Is completely recovered and thinks he doesn’t deserve her and he should win 300 competitions
Appledog and dt. Both come to Guangzhou but don’t bump on each other.
Grunt and ai Qing’s sister have fallen I love at first sight. He fixes a date with both of them later for wu bai ;)Grunt and ai jing kiss
He is at the hospital because of his gastritis but once he hears ai Qing’s voice he rushes over. Awww
Guys not kidding the osts are really nice
They meet and eat together and also eat a chocolate which has a few quotes in them.
appledog misses the times she played when she sees the environment. They show us as if solo is the second lead but actually ai Qing is completely over him also he doesn’t trouble them that much.
When she helps a boy get solo’s signature by answering questions she gets herself in trouble as everyone recognises her.
IDK why but I miss Tong Nian so much 😀
ai Qing and solo meet. He asks her to be sp’s leader Wu bai is jealous of solo and feels inferior as he doesn’t know her as much as he thought.
One is the great team cook in this lol he makes me hungry every time he cooks.
they play a video respecting solo team and ai Qing rememberers the old times.
Later they go to an amusement park and take pictures.
Grunt refuses to join KK as they don’t give him enough money or the captain title but after ai Jing and dt. convince him he joins.
She asks wu bai to ask slide why he retired.in the process everyone is drunk and go to ai Qing’s house where his dad asks dt. many questions and if he is single.
episode 7
chemistry between grunt and ai Jing is going on really well.
ai Qing takes the kids and luo hei to a farm where the driver ditches them there and they have no food so luo hei calls wu bai to bring them food.
but when he comes ai Qing was in a mess chasing the ducks and chicks in the cage as the kids let them out.LOL
luo he tells ai Qing to confess her feeling to wu bai as she is the frigg of his life.
episode 8
he brings ai Qing and the kids to play at KK and he also says she would be a great team leader.
they also have a cute romantic moment at night as she trips and he catches her, she lands on his legs. awww but zhou yi keeps interrupting so funny.
also another moment when he helps her tighten his clothes on her.
episode 9
dt. wakes up early in the morning about 3 to 4 !!! omg that is the time I sleep. anyways just to have breakfast with appledog
he also asks her to come and watch the competition in suzhou with KK.
meanwhile grunt is jealous of ai Jing and her hero in the show she is acting in.also fools her into hugging him LOL
in the bus, dt. sits beside appledog and puts her head on his shoulder and lets her sleep
episode 10
appledog gets wet in the rain and dt. gives her his coat. he invites her to karaoke and when he goes to give her medicine and hot water she is in her bath robe and dt. feels so hot.
he choses his outfit very carefully even keeping a meeting to chose
at the ktv dt. just can’t take his eyes off her so cute
episode 11
appledog has returned to the old path cut her hair back and joined sp as the team manager. Xiao mi is also back!!! in the old series his cp was my most fav after Nian Nian but they changed him also 🙁 so slide also joined sp again.
ai Qing loves him too! but they can’t be together as she knows that he is Han shangyan’s brother and KK’s captain but she is really reluctant to leave him
just when dt. mustered up all his courage to confess to her she refused him without even letting his talk she cried back home.
episode 12-20
gun has become cuter in this episode <3 also dt. argues with him as he restricts him from dating appledog as she was solo’s girlfriend.
grunt and ai Jing haven’t even been together yet and his ex girlfriend keeps pestering them she also warns ai Jing to stay away from him later they both kiss and everything is fine now they also are together now yay!
dt. meets her at the new fox’s concert and tells her all the truth about his operation the chocolate box and he gives a chocolate which he knew had the line he wanted as the owner found it and gave it to him he tells her that he gives the last piece of hop to her. wow im impressed bro
meanwhile grandpa and Xiao bai’s robot are doing really great haha so the grandpa helps dt. get ai Qing in so many ways I like him sm the most adorable character.
they go and spoil the blind date of the both sisters hahahahaaa
grunt and ai jing confess to each other and kiss each other and resolve all misunderstandings. and fight again and say they are gonna breakup SMH
meanwhile ai Qing finally realised how much wu bai likes her and also the drawing was drawn by him. later she is drunk but texts wu bai instead of her sis by mistake
she talks a lot to him and also asks him if she likes her or not and sleeps hehe as usual… so he cleans up the room puts a blanket on her… again as usual he also hugs her tightly an tells her there id no if he will always end up coming to her side
ai Qing shows the last chocolate wraper which he gave her and it said “nobody ever showed up in my heart until u showed up”
as he completed 300 competitions he said he exchanges it for her love and they both kiss and are together now they eat the same chocolate and it is so sweet everywhere.
