Ji Mo asked Dugu to sort out An An who was becoming hysterical when Ji Mo told her that what he said on the rooftop when her boyfriend had her in a headlock was just a pretense to calm the situation.
An An, however, did not see it that way. She really thought that Ji Mo fancied her. But as Ji Mo introduced Dugu to her as his girlfriend, An An would not believe it at first as she thought what would he see in an old woman.
Dugu made mincemeat of An An as being an airhead and as such Ji Mo has no interest in An Ann.
An An caused Dugu Ruonan’s apartment to burn down when she jealously trespassed at Dugu’s place looking for Ji Mo.
The apartment was a complete wreck.
Ji Mo said that he was going to sort it for her but he was worried when she did not come back to the apartment complex for a long time.
But she did and when he found her in his bed, he woke her up but she said she did not have a place to go and anyhow his apartment is hers.
Episode 6
I am really loving this drama.
Ji Mo had another one of his sleepwalking moments. He went to Dugu’s bedroom and tidied it up then he picked one of her underwear and woke her up to tell her that the material is wrong and uncomfortable.
Dugu was about to screeched at him but she noticed that he was not quite right. He was so docile and realised that he was sleepwalking. She dare not wake him up because she was not sure if it is ok to wake a sleepwalker.
Anyway, Ji Mo took her left hand and put an engagement ring on it.
This really pushed Dugu over the limit and jumped off her bed. Jimo promptly fell in her bed and had a goodnight’s sleep while Dugu watched him over the chair.
The next morning, JiMo was surprised that he was in Dugu’s bed and would not admit that he was sleepwalking. It was only when she gave him back the ring that he admitted it.
JiMo went to see his psychiatrist friend to consult about his sleepwalking but in the end JiMo refused to talk about his ex.
His friend said that they have to discuss it was it was obviously the cause of his stress.
Anyway, Dugu asked JiMo to help her with SiDa.
SiDa is suffering from Heterosexual Communication Disorder. He panics leading to him fainting when he is around women.
His condition is preventing him from modelling.
JiMo refused to help Dugu at first.
So DuGu thought she could do it and did a massive research on the condition.
Ji Mo saw her effort so he decided to help SiDa.
SiDa was a nervous wreck when Jimo asked him to assist the models.
JiMo told him to think of the woman he likes.
Episode 7
Lin Hao or something, Dugu’s first love, and former artist had sent her a wedding invitation which made her depressed. So stayed at home the whole day and JiMo did not do what to do.
Fei Er came to the rescue though and talked the matter over.
Dugu said that she knows that this was finally the closure and she actually wished him well in his marriage.
Meanwhile, Sida is crushing on Dugu big time. He admires her so much and looks like a puppy dog in his adoration of her. He got jealous though of Ji Mo and asked Jimo if he was interested in Dugu.
Jimo said that he was not but knowing Sida’s attraction to Dugu, he was somehow interested
Episode 8
Song ZiHao had woken up from his coma. Tong Tong visited him first and told him lies.
Episode 9 – 10
Tong Tong was able to convince zi Hao that Dugu had abandoned him as soon as he went into a coma and as such no use to her. Dugu immediately replaced him with SiDa.
Zi Hao at first was not convinced but then Tong Tong showed him a contract of his endorsement being given to SiDa.
So to get back on Dugu, Zi Hao had a press conference announcing that he had left Dugu and was not managed by Tong Tong.
JiMo saw the press conference and knew that Dugu was being maligned and would be very upset so he left his unofficial date with Fei Er and his friend A Li to find Dugu.
He found her took her for a day out on the beach where they had fun getting soaked in the cold water.
When they were driving back, the car stopped for lack of gasoline so they stay in a B&B but as drama would have it, there was only one room left so they had to share.
Jimo then realised that being with Dugu somehow cured him of his sleepwalking and insomnia.
Ali later told him that probably he was attracted to Dugu; she was in his heart already which cured him of an emotion-induced condition.
Meanwhile, Fei Er was a little upset with Dugu because she really like Jimo but she knows that if she mentioned to Dugu that she fancied Jimi and also Dugu likes Jimo, Dugu would make way for her.
Dugu said that is exactly what she will do because Fei Er is the most important person in her life, her very best friend. She then added that it was good that she was not attracted to Jimo at all.
Jimo was confused when Dugu went cold to him again after she promised that they will be friends after cheering her up in her most trying day.
Dugu told him to look for a new apartment. She will pay the penalty for him moving out. Dugu really was having a bad day. Her boss offered her old job back as Director of Talents or something but Dugu must drop SiDa.
Dugu refused.
Episode 11
Sida, in his innocence, kept defying Dugu’s rules. Without her knowledge, he went begging on bended knees to Zihao.
Zihao took advantage of the situation and the gullible Sida. He took him to a bar and made him drink more than a bottle of brandy, neat.
Sida drank the brandy because Zihao promised to clarify the situation regarding Dugu to the press. Sida thought he was doing the right thing for Dugu.
Instead, Dugu and Jimo had to take him to the hospital for alcohol poisoning and then Dugu was told by her CEO that Sida was all over the news drinking with women. Zihao set Sida up.
Zihao did feel guilty about the troubles he was causing Dugu.
Dugu was so annoyed but won’t give up on Sida.
Sida did and said that he had lost his heart about the business and he was quitting.
Jimo told Dugu that Sida did not mean it but Dugu said she was finished with Sida.
Episode 12 – 13
Dugu and Sida made up. Dugu promised him to make him a star but he had to have a first class training.
When she withdraw money, she found out that she was almost penniless. So she mortgaged the apartment Jimo wanted to buy from her.
JImo found out about it and went ballistic. He said that she did not even consult him before selling the house.
Dugu said she was going to get the apartment back because it was only mortgaged.
Still, Jimo was so annoyed, that he asked his assistant to help him pack while Dugu was at work.
He was gone when she returned.
She was very upset finding him gone as she had gotten used to having him around. But then she was so busy with Sida.
Jimo asked to meet Fei’Er, who was surprised to learn from Jimo that he had moved out of the apartment and that Dugu mortgaged it to the bank.
Fei’Er said that she could have given Dugu the money.
Jimo gave Fei’er a bank card to pass to Dugu to redeem the apartment. He asked Fei’er not to tell Dugu that it was from him.
Sida was busy with his singing as Dugu managed to get him a stint in a singing reality show.
Meanwhile, Jimo started thinking about his first love,
Si Xiao died from cancern. He did not even know that she was ill. She kept it secret from him because he was so busy with his studies and later on his job and did not want to be a burden to him. So she broke up with him pretending that she had found someone else.
But then when she was dying in the hospital, he was called by Si Xiao’s relative to see Si Xiao but she was gone when he arrived.
Zhao Yu Cheng, the man who pretended to be Si Xiao’s boyfriend told Jimo that he murdered Si Xiao for his lack of care and attention.
Jimo felt guilty and this had been eating him up.
Episode 14
For some reason, this is the drama that I am really focusing on at the moment. I just love it.
Anyway, Sida managed to progress to the semi-finals of the singing contest despite the really annoyingly vindictive ZiHao.
But it went wrong.
Stupid Sida withdrew from the contest because Dugu told him that she would never have a relationship with him for two things. He is very young and she is his agent, never again.
Sida was told by Fei’er that Dugu had a very bad history with one of her mentees before.
Meanwhile, Dugu was really upset because of what Sida had done without consulting her first.
She was walking in the rain when someone put an umbrella over her head. It was Jimo.
Episode 15
I am rather annoyed with this episode. Seriously.
Anyway, Dugu asked Jimo if he likes her. He did not answer.
So Dugu told him never to approach her anymore.
Dugu was called by the CEO. Dugu knew that she had to leave the company as Sida had been trouble from the word go.
But the CEO said that for some reason, a music producer wanted to work with Sida. So they just said that Sida withdrew from the contest because of a sore throat.
Dugu had to train Sida further. But Dugu said that she can no longer be Sida’s manager.
She left but Sida ran after her, and after the car when she was driving away.
Dugu saw him fall down so she stopped and went to see him. She told him that she could not manage him anymore with the way he felt about her.
But Sida said that he would only think of her as his manager.
Dugu went to Yannan with Sida for a video shoot.
As luck would have it she met Jimo on the island right after she had written in a totem she hang on the wish tree that if the person she likes shows up she will be brave.
She took it as a sign when she saw Jimo. She went to hug him but then they were seen by Sida who was coming back from buying bottled water for Dugu.
He got upset so he left them alone. While walking he was accosted by a girl in a wedding dress. He dropped his phone and did not bother to call knowing that Dugu was calling. He just run off with the girl who was being chased by some goons.
Seriously, Sida is the most annoying and stupid character ever. Plus the fact that he was supposed to have that heterosexual communication condition. So why would he suddenly run off hand in hand with a strange girl knowing that Dugu was looking for him?
Episode 16
I love Joe Chen so much otherwise I would drop this drama already. I have had it with Sida. It is just so stupid and wasteful of resources.
Then, Qian Sha girl was the most annoying character.
She run off with Sida again and he went with her in the middle of shooting a video, How stupid is this script.
Jimo who had decided to stay at Yannan for a while run after Dugu who was running after Sida and the stupid girl Qian Sha.
Qian Sha and Sida created mayhem with the fruit merchants that Jimo and Dugu ended up in the police station.
As I say, I love Joe Chen. So I am staying for now though finding it really exasperatingly hard.
Episode 17
Zhou Yu-Cheng appeared on the scene and showed interest in Dugu.
Again, Sida was petulantly jealous of Yu Cheng.
But he should be more jealous of Jimo as he and Dugu are getting along better.
Jimo had a sexy measuring moment of Dugu’s vitals statistics to make her a dress.
Yu Cheng and Dugu attended a charity festival where Zihao with was with Tong Tong.
Zihao noticed that he was not getting the attention he thought he deserved because Tong Tong was not really a savvy manager.
Meanwhile, Jimo also attended but he was shocked to see Yu Cheng.
Yu Cheng wickedly reminded Jimo of Si Xiao.
During the auction of the Mount Everest diamond necklace, Zhou Yu Cheng won the bid and while they were distracted, Dugu went looking for Jimo.
Jimo was not in a very good place and Dugu was asking him what was wrong with him.
Then ended up not being friends again which made Dugu cry.
She was just had managed to compose herself when she went back to the gala when she was surprised to see everyone looking at her.
Yu Cheng had just announced that he bought the 6 million necklace for her.
Dugu could not really turn him down for the gift as she cannot afford to antagonise him as he was going to make SiDa the ambassador of Ruigu Group.
But she returned the necklace back to him when they were alone.
