Episode 1
Anyu and Yuwen are a very enchanting couple. They have a lot of fun and chemistry.
This drama has a very riveting storyline. It started with the leads breaking up at present time in 2025. Life seemed to have gotten to them while living in Beijing.
As a parting shot, Dai Da Ji asked Zhou Shui if they had not gone to Beijing, would they have ended up the way they did now.
They first knew of each other in 2007 when they were both in the same university though different courses.
Da Ji was in th school of Economics and Trade while Zhou Shui was in the School of Film.
One ordinary day, Zhou Shui was engrossed in learning the dance steps in the popular film, Pulp Fiction when an irate Da Ji with a hammer barged into his dorm room looking for her boyfriend.
When she found that Zhou Shui was alone, she took her frustrations on her boyfriend’s bunk bed. Her passion captivated Zhou Shui who started filming Da Ji with his camcorder.
Da Ji was intrigued by the rather naive man-boy but she used him when her boyfriend turned up with another girl. To save some pride, Da Ji grabbed Zhou Shui and pretended that she was into him, thus making her boyfriend think that she was the one cheating on him and not the obvious other way around.
The boyfriend who was now an ex, left in disgust.
Da Ji stayed for a while and chatted with Zhou Shui. He told her that he was studying films because he dreams of becoming a great director one day.
Meanwhile, Da Ji said that she was in university to experience a great romance. They found that they make each other laugh so they started hanging out.
Da Ji became his muse and would film her all the time, sometimes even without her tacit agreement.
They were on filming mission one weekend when they stayed in a motel. Da Ji was all for having a dirty weekend but Zhou Shui resisted. Instead they watched another one of his films.
Deep down Da Ji finds his films rather boring and yet she persisted in watching these over and over again with him.
Da Ji was graduating from university. Her mother had already told her that she had found her the ideal job in their hometown. Da Ji knew that this would mean being a housewife and doing shockingly ordinary job in a small office.
She told Zhou Shui who still has a year in uni that she rather envies him because he has the fortitude to go after his dream. She could not see herself going to Beijing.
Zhou Shui managed to convince her to go for her dream. Da Ji can’t resist the temptation. So she hurriedly changed her plane ticket to fly to Beijng and Zhou Shui promised to find her in Beijing once he graduates.
