Episode 1
Blurb: A young girl Yang Manru seemed to spend her life daydreaming but one evening a monster was about to attacked her but a blurry shadow of a young man protected her. Before he could save her the blurry shadow disappeared only leaving a lighter with Lai engraved on it.
Since then it became Yang Manru’s mission to seek her protector.
Years later, Manru was daydreaming on her desk holding the Lai lighter when there was an earthquake. Mysteriously she was sucked into a vortex of light.
In the year of the Bingyin a rare phenomena happend. Venus aligned with the moon, this conjuction created a series of stories that began to unfold.
The first one was the Street Corner Story.
Lai was being hunted by an axe-weilding gang as they believed that Lai was the murderer of their Boss Si. Despite many blacksuited gang members fighting him, Lai was on top of the action. But he was subdued when Fei turned up with a gun pointed at Lei
As Fei turned the trigger, there was a mysterious calamity from the sky and Manru run out toward Lai to save him. She got shot in the chest instead of Lai.
Lai took her to the hospital. The doctor said that she was alive but may be brain damaged. Lai asked who the girl was but she was a Jane Doe. Lai wanted to know why she would save him. He found her bag and saw her notebooks. Her name was Lu Na. What surprised him was that the notebook was a comic book and it was about him. It looks like Lu Na came to the pages of her comic book.
Lai was actually and undercover rookie policeman. He was convinced by Officer Huang to join the Maritime Gang who deals with raw opium as Lai grew in the pier and knows his way around.
Maritime Gang was headed by Boss Si. One a month, Boss Si would convene a raffle where the one who gets the highest number on a fortune stick would do the deed, mainly of killing. This time Lai got the highest number. His task was to kill a rival gang leader, Ling Qi.
Lai was shocked as he is cop and should not kill but he had no choice. He tried to call Chief Huang but he was told that Chief Huang had been killed.
As he had nowhere to turn to, Lai went to Ling Qi. It all happened suddenly, Boss Si’s men came to Ling Qi’s den and there was a rumble. Lai ended up helping Ling Qi.
Ling Qi was so grateful and promised Lai that he would return the favour. Lai asked for the favour to be returned. He put Ling Qi in a sack and dragged him to Boss Si’s den. Lai was so upset because Boss Si was sexually harrassing Pei Tung, who Lai considered as his little sister.
Lai tried to fight Boss Si but Pei Tung stopped him. Pei Tung confessed that she would like to stay with Boss Si.
Boss Si became agressive but Ling Qi shot him as he get out from the sack. Ling Qi and Lai jumped in the window to get away as the gang members started to arrive.
Outside, Lai declared that he knew that Ling Qi was also an undercover cop assigned by Officer Huang.
Lai confirmed this at the truth. But he said that after working as the gang leader for eight years, he can’t be starting over as a cop again. Being the leader has more power and freedom.
Lai tried to arrest Ling Qi but Ling Qi ended up dead when a neon light signage fell directly into him.
Lai went back to the hospital and saw the comic once again. It seemed to write what had just happened to the point when Ling Qi died.
Very watchable, Angelababy was so pretty and Wang Anyu suits his role as a young and rather naive cop.
Xu Zhi is the pride of her school for having scored high in the college examination. She thought that Chen Lu Zhou who is known for being a troublemaker was actually misunderstood.
Chen Lu Zhou thought that Xu Zhi was crushing on him.

Episode 1
Anyu and Yuwen are a very enchanting couple. They have a lot of fun and chemistry.
This drama has a very riveting storyline. It started with the leads breaking up at present time in 2025. Life seemed to have gotten to them while living in Beijing.
As a parting shot, Dai Da Ji asked Zhou Shui if they had not gone to Beijing, would they have ended up the way they did now.
They first knew of each other in 2007 when they were both in the same university though different courses.
Da Ji was in th school of Economics and Trade while Zhou Shui was in the School of Film.
One ordinary day, Zhou Shui was engrossed in learning the dance steps in the popular film, Pulp Fiction when an irate Da Ji with a hammer barged into his dorm room looking for her boyfriend.
When she found that Zhou Shui was alone, she took her frustrations on her boyfriend’s bunk bed. Her passion captivated Zhou Shui who started filming Da Ji with his camcorder.
Da Ji was intrigued by the rather naive man-boy but she used him when her boyfriend turned up with another girl. To save some pride, Da Ji grabbed Zhou Shui and pretended that she was into him, thus making her boyfriend think that she was the one cheating on him and not the obvious other way around.
The boyfriend who was now an ex, left in disgust.
Da Ji stayed for a while and chatted with Zhou Shui. He told her that he was studying films because he dreams of becoming a great director one day.
Meanwhile, Da Ji said that she was in university to experience a great romance. They found that they make each other laugh so they started hanging out.
Da Ji became his muse and would film her all the time, sometimes even without her tacit agreement.
They were on filming mission one weekend when they stayed in a motel. Da Ji was all for having a dirty weekend but Zhou Shui resisted. Instead they watched another one of his films.
Deep down Da Ji finds his films rather boring and yet she persisted in watching these over and over again with him.
Da Ji was graduating from university. Her mother had already told her that she had found her the ideal job in their hometown. Da Ji knew that this would mean being a housewife and doing shockingly ordinary job in a small office.
She told Zhou Shui who still has a year in uni that she rather envies him because he has the fortitude to go after his dream. She could not see herself going to Beijing.
Zhou Shui managed to convince her to go for her dream. Da Ji can’t resist the temptation. So she hurriedly changed her plane ticket to fly to Beijng and Zhou Shui promised to find her in Beijing once he graduates.
A Yin was absolutely fed up with dying prematurely 27 times, so she crossed the Naihe Bridge to seek justice and some sort of explanation.
Xiuyan, the Ghost Monarch, was not much of a help but he did say that there are two possibilities why A Yin was getting bad luck after bad luck. She has either offended a great figure in her past of past or she is a great figure herself.
She found out that she is indeed a great figure, Shen Yin, a hidden goddess.

Episode 1
The opening OST is sang by Lusi herself. It is quite melodious, just right into initiating you into the drama.
What can I say?!!! Wow! I was really blown away with the production and story and the acting. I was so engaged, I watched the first four episodes in one sitting and ended up wanting to see more but alas the next installment is tomorrow.
The CGI is good for majority of the scenes specially the opening scene which was really atmospheric and panoramic.
Must admit I had a bit of deja vu at the beginning scene as it reminded me of Who Rules The World as one of the first character Ayin/Lusi met was the charismatic Xiu Yun, the Ghost King which is played by He Kai Lang who was Yang Yin Zhou in Who Rules the World.
Anyway, Xiu Yun wanted to know why Yin is back again after he had given her a new life at the mortal world as a princess to boot.
Yin said that Xiu Yun promisd her a long and happy life in the mortal world but her own biological brother killed her so she is back again for the 20th time. She wanted to know when it will all end. She just wanted a long peaceful life.
She then noticed a guy from a atmospheric window of the Ghost King’s domain. The handsome guy looked so sad.
Xiu Yun was taken aback but his young assistant enlightened Yin. He said that a thousand years ago, the sad guy fell in love with a beautiful immortal. But it was one sided as the immortal girl loved the fox king. The immortal ended up helping the Fox King to destroy the Spirit Mountain of the Immortal Realm which kickstarted a war between the demons and immortals.
The guy was left with no choice but to kill the immortal girl with his magic weapon. It really affected him and can’t move on so every anniversary of the immortal girl’s death, the guy would go to the place hoping to find even a smidgen of energy trace of her.
Yin does not feel sorry for the guy at all. She thought he was a bit of a hypocrite, he killed the girl and yet continued to mourn her. She added that if she had been the girl, she would not meet him again in life or in death.
She asked what was the name of the girl, Xiu Yun pushed her to the sea below as he noticed that the sad guy, Yuan Qi had turned up and really curious of the girl who had just fallen into the water.
Yuan Qi asked Xiu Yun if the girl was Ayin but Xiu Yun told him that Yuan Qi had killed Ayin with his Supreme Weapon, so Ayin could no longer exist in this world.
Yuan Qi was not giving up, he promised that he will meet Ayin again.
One thoussand years ago…
At the Wutong Island, Immortal Realm, Her highness, Feng Yuan, had announced that they will have a large celebration, a banquet and invite all the immortals form the three realms as the second Fire Phoenix is about to hatch.
One of the invitees was Donghua, the chief of Daze Mountain. He was surprised that another Fire Phoenix is about to be born when another one is still in si tu. He said that this was very rare. He then concluded that the Empress was abdicating to live a simpler life.
Donghua said that he could not attend but they will send Gu Jin to the party as he has special relationship with the Phoenix Queen.
Gu Jin was getting drunk at Zuixian Tavern as usual. The silly boy used up his 200 years cultivation energy to buy the very rare Immortal Brew.
Gu Jin was taken back to Donghua who was told what Gu Jin did. Donghua observed that if he bartered his 200 years spirit energy then Gu Ji is back to zero as he was only 200 years old.
Gu Jin went to Wutong Island with Qiao Qing Yi and his senior brother in the snow-shaft carriage pulled by Pegasus. I must say the CGI was so good.
They did not arrive in style at Wutong Island though because a vengeful Ling Feng, who lost the bid for the immortal brew to Gu Jin, spooked Pegasus.
Who is Gu Jin?
200 years ago Yuan Qi/Gu Jin’s father the True God Di Juan sacrificed himself to save the world. His wife the True Goddess Yi He was so sad that she became obssessed in bring Di Juan back to life, this was taking all her time. So poor Yuan Qi was left to the care of Lord Donghua and Feng Yuan.
Lonrd Donghua said that sending Gu Jin to see the birth of the Fire Phoenix was not some random decision. Gu Jin has a connection with the Fire Phoenix.
The second Fire Pheonix can do astral projection, she can leave the safety of her cocoon to sneak in and see what was happening at her birth party,.
Feng Yin, the Fire Pheonix, was resplendent in red. But she turned to a miniature pheonix so she can;t be noticed.
Hong Ruo, the Fox Queen attended the banquet with her tempetous nephew, Hong Yi who was not happy when it was mentioned that he had to marry sooner or later and the bride might be the soon to be born Fire Pheonix. He was not having it and left soon after followed by his long suffering Aunt Hong Ruo.
The banquet had started. Hua Shu turned up with her father from the Peacock Clan. The guys started whispering how beautiful Hua Shu was, the prettiest in the realm.
The Pheonix Queen, knew that Feng Yin was around.
Qing Lin, Devil Queen, who was sealed in the abysmal fortress commanded Zhou Ying to get the Fire Pheonix Jade and kill the new Fire Phoenix.,
Gu Jin was promanading in the garden when he overheard Li Peng saying that Gu Jin might not be even a true son of Di Juan because Yi He liked to put it about. Gu Jin was irate and went to confront Li Peng.
They had a fight but Li Peng easily overpowered Gu Jin who did not have any spiritual energy.
AYin who saw what was happening, secretly helped Gu Jin. When it was over, Gu Jin could just see a wisp of red dress.
At that moment, Hua Shu who was dressed in red passed by. Gu Jin thought his savior was Hua Shu and promptly fell in love with her.
He thanked her and Hua Shu sneakily did not disabuse him of his idea that she saved him.. He asked her what he could do for her and he will try to get it for her.
Hua Shu said she wanted the Fire Pheonix Jade. Gu Jin agreed with alacrity to get it for her.
So he went to the ancient sycamore tree where the Fire Pheonix coccoon was nestled. A drop of his blood fell into the orb.
The orb pulled him in. It was unfortunate that Gu Jin sucked in all the essence of the Fire Pheonix. She was gone.
In shock, the Pheonix Queen used the Soul-burning Lamp to ascentain that Feng Yin is really gone. She was, not a trace of her can be found in the Three Realms and it was all Gu Jin’s fault.
The Phoenix Clan was obviously upset and asked that Pheonix Queen to punish Gu Jin with the Bone-Cutting Thunder strike.
Gu Jin willingly accept his punishment.
Episode 2
Lord Donghua turned up to plead for leniency on Gu Jin. He brought the Soul Suppressing Tower with him which he said could find the scattered spirit essence of Feng Yin. if they apply the energy to the physical body of Feng Yin, they could revive her. As a sweetener, Lord Donghua said that once, Feng Yin is revived, she can forego thousands of year of cultivation.
Apparently for the Soul Suppressing Tower to be effective compass🤣, it needs its twin tower.
Gu Jin volunteered to take the perilous tasks of begging for it from the mighty Floating Jade.🤣
The Floating Jade/Inquiry Stone recognised Gu Jin as Xuan Yuan Qi, sired by true gods.
The Floating Jade confirmed with Gu Jin if he was really sure of trying to make the little pheonix comes alive. The Floating Jade added that the birth of the little pheonix is an anomaly as there should not be two in any given time.
Gu Jin assured the Floating Jade that he was willing to pay the price because it was all his fault for being a nosy bugger🤣
The Floating Jade warned Gu Jin that he will suffer great physical pain and he must realised this. He then passed the magnetic coloured cystal to Gu Jin to attract the essence of Feng Yi scattered within the three realms.
The Jade Stone transfer an embryo of a phoenix in a glistening jade egg.
Donghua and Feng Yuan are concerned about Gu Jin. They were his guardian and they can’t do anything really to protect him from the calamities that he had to suffer as per his contract with the Floating Jade.
But to keep Gu Jin safe, they confined him at the back valley. Gu Jin was bored and the only highlight to his life was the monthly visit from Qing Yi who brings him food supply and the most enormous jar/bottle of Jade Brew.
Gu Jin has been confined for ten years, still he was hopeful that Princess Hua Shu had not forgotten him. He was still waiting for a reply to his letter he gave her before he was locked in the back valley., the Forbidden Valley.
Qing Yi had to tell him that no letter had come from the Princess. Gu JIn and Qingyi were chatting away when a giant bird came flying in knocking the Drunk Jade Brew which floated away in the stream near a cave.
Gu Jin spotted a glowing egg. It was an egg of a Water Condensing Beast which was very rare as its clan had vanished 70,000 years ago. The egg is very nourishing and as such, Gu Jin decided to keep it to nourish Feng Yin when she wakes up.
For lack of anything to do, Gu Jin tried various ways of hatching the egg. He looked after it very well, sleeping with it to keep the egg warm, playing music with, doing cultivation with it, taking a bath with it. He thought that the egg might be too bland for Feng Yin so he started marinating the egg in many spices.
While Gu Jin was asleep, the egg cracked and out flew a cute little green beast. It immediately soar outside and would have been eaten by vulture-like creature if Gu Jin did not just turn up on time.
Gu Jin found out that taking responsibilty for the Water Condensing Beast was exhausting. Gu Jin tried to put it on a cage but the beast he name Ayin was too naughty.
Ayin even knocked down Gu Jin precious Jade Brew and drank it. The water beast then turned into a beautiful girl who staggered drunkenly into Gu Jin’s bed and laid down with him.
The next morning, Gu Jin woke up next to Ayin who he kicked out of bed. He was so shock to see a girl. He then realised that the poor girl must have been the water beast Ayin.
Ayin made him pay!
Fairy Hong Chou who was also a guardian to Gu Jin learned how Ayin had been torturing Gu Jin. She insisted that they should kill the bitch beast Ayin🤣
Lord Donghua said that goddess Yihe would not countenance killing so to pacify Fairy Hong, Lord Donghua connected Gu Jin and Ayin in a master-slave contract.
As a slave, Ayin could not hurt her master otherwise it will rebound on her.
Episode 3
Gu Jin was so happy that he was now free to leave the Forbidden Village. With Ayin, they immediately went to see Lord Donghua.
Ayin was raging because she was made a slave without her consent.
Lord Donghua explained to her that she was fated to connect with Gu Jin and as a recompense, he gave her cultivation.
Episode 4
Lord Donghua had ascended into heaven.
Hua Shu immediately went to Daze Mountain to exchange the Peacock Crown for the Sky Shrouding Umbrella.
Xian Zhan and Xian Zhu had to tell her that Lord Donghua had already passed the Sky Shrouding Umbrella to Gujin.
Meanwhile, Ayin was trying her hardest to remove her invisible connected to Gu Jin but she has no luck.
Hua Shu wasted no time to visit Gu Jin for the umbrella.
Gu Jin was of course mesmerised by the beautiful Hua Shu, who immediately went to business of borrowing the umbrella for a year.
Gu Jin had no problem giving the uymbrella to Hua Shu but Ayin got in the way. Ayin said that Gu Jin was about to leave for the Demon Realm and would certainly need the umbrella for protection.
In this situation, taking away the umbrella from Gu Jin was like plucking hair from a bald man.
Gu Jin was of course embarrassed and told Ayin to shut up.
When Hua Shu had left, Gu Jin punished Ayin.
Qing Yi gave Ayin a book on “How to tame your Master’. Ayin later found that it worked when she applied what she read on the book.
The Daze Mountain immortals came to send Gu Jin and Ayin off to the Demon Realm. The immortals advised them to go through Jingyou Valley and meet up with Hong Rou of the fox clan. Hong Rou can help them go to the Demon Realm where a parasol tree can be found.
It so happened that the wayward Hong Yi was forcing himself into the Haize Pool so he could get all the ingredients to make an amulet so he could enter the immortal realm and take back his father’s Nirvana Wheel.
Zhuo Ying Long, the devil advocate, sabotaged Hong Hi’s cultivation and sent him to the abyssal Prison.

Ayin and Gu Jin’s next stop was the Guixu Mountain where they were able to acquire the Pheonix Jade essence fairly easily from the ancient sycamore tree until that is when Hongyi decided to come out of Ayin’s magic pouch.
The commotion disturbed the tree guardian, Chen Min, who is a former Princess of the Immortal Realm – a daughter of the Fox King.

Ayin was out for a walk when she spotted Hua Shu with the interim heavenly emperor, Lang Fang on a date.
When the Emperor left, Ayin confronted Hua Shu about two-timing Gu Jin.
Hua Shu used her power to erase Ayin’s memory of what she saw.
Poor Gu Jin waited almost the whole night for Hua Shu to turn up. She did eventually turn up but it was the next morning. Hua Shu apologised to Gu Jin. She told him that she was fluish so she could not go out.
Ayin though suddenly turned up and said that she saw Hua Shu on a date with someone but somehow she can’t recall who the date was.
Hua Shu dismissed Ayin for her lack of evidence. But Ayin was resolute but she did notice that Gu Jin was not sure of what was going on.
Poor Ayin assumed that Gu Jin doubts her.

Gu JIn told Ayin that they should make another contract and this time a marriage contract became he wanted to be with her all the time.
Fairy Hong Chou learned the growing closeness between Gu Jin and Ayin. She told the two custodian of Daze Mountain that the relationship will not only be bad for the only heir of the true gods but of the Heavenly Realm as well.
Hong Chou waylaid Ayin on the pretext that she wanted an herb that could cure Xian Zhu. The herb is located on a rather tricky place on the ravine and Hong Chou said that Ayin could get it.
Ayin innocently agreed and went with Hong Chou to get the herb. She turned into her water beast form but Hong Chou used her power to make Ayin fall to her death.
Fortunately, Xian Shan, who had been keeping an eye on Ayin as he suspect that Hong Chou would harm her, turned up and saved Ayin who was badly hurt.
Hong Chou was not sorry of what she did. She later told Xiao Shan and Xiao Zhu that there is no other solution than to kill the insignificant water beast.
The custodian said that there is another solution, use the flute of forgetfulness and Gu Jin will forget Ayin.
Episode 14
Gu Jin used up his energy by transferring it to the comatose Ayin. The energy made her get better and back to her chirpy self. She told Gu Jin that she would rest up so that she will be ready for the next day for their marriage contract.
Gu Jin seemed happy about it. But he was really unwell.
He was trying to replenish his energy by meditating using the power from his supreme sword when Hong Chou sneaked in and began to play the flute.
Gu Jin started to remember all the happy exciting time with Ayin. These memories were then sucked up towards the flute.
Hong Chou took them and sealed them up on a little bamboo tube.
It was the next day, Ayin was prancing excitely in front of the mirror admiring herself. It was the day that she will marry Gu Jin.
Ajiu/Hong Yi turned up and asked why she was so happy.
She told him what was happening on that day which upset Ajiu. He left her to her happy excitement. She can’t wait anymore so she went to find Gu Jin who was still sleeping. He was different from the lovey dovey boyfriend but Ayin did not notice.
She told him that it was the day of the contract. He asked her if she was sure about it.
She happily confirmed that she was looking forward to it.
They went to the hall and Gu Jin started to create a contract but it was of master and slave contract.
Ayin told him that they were doing a marriage contract.
This shocked Gu Jin. He told her that he likes her very much but he only even saw her as family, a young sister.
Ayin kissed him which really shocked him and even pushed her away.
They parted ways. Gu Jin knew that he had to keep away from Ayin for awhile so he gladly accepted the position at the Spiritual Trigram Assembly at the heavenly realm.
Meanwhile, Ayin was given a map of Ningyun Mountain, the home of her Water Beast Clan. To take her mind off Gu Jin, Ayin decided to go to the mountain with her egg sister, Yu. She was hoping that Yu will be hatch by the sacred water of Ningyun Mountain.
Ayin waited for Yu to be hatched. Ajiu turned up and so did Yan Shuang.
Their happiness was disturbed by an immortal who told them that they were tresspassing.
Later, Ajiu told Ayin that she could not just reveal that she is a water beast because she would make herself a target as water beast is a much sought after good.

Episode 25
Hua Shu took upon herself to punish Ayin. She broke Ayin’s immortal bone.
Yuan Qi unknowingly killed Ayin afterwards because in the end Ayin had lost the will to live because Yuan Qi did not trust her and punished her with the ultimate cruelty to her clan. He destroyed NIngyun Mountain.
I cried so much.
Episode 26
One thousand years later, Yuan Qi still looks for Ayin and searched the three realms for her for no avail.
Yuan Qi could somehow feel that Ayin was in the Nether World. So he became a regular visitor of Ao Ge at the Nether World.
Yuan Qi was right but he was not getting info from Ao Ge who told Three Stone that he put Ayin into a glistening flower. All that is left of the flower is a single petal.
Meanwhile Ajiu and Lord Lin Mo finally talked about their suspicion that Qing Lin had possessed of Hong Ruo completely. They did not have a choice but to kill Qing Lin despite being in the guise of Hong Ruo. Qing Lin was too powerful for their combined effort and it took Yuan Qi who turned up to avenge Ayin who he found out was set up by Qing Lin.
Ajiu and Lord Lin Mo put the essence orb of Hong Ruo into her memorial jar.
Poor Ajiu and Yan Shuang were also searching for Ayin. They thought that they would descend into the mortal world to look for Ayin.
Episode 27
Finally Yuan Qi met Ayin by the bridge at the Nether World. She did not recognise him but he did her.
Ajiu also turned up with Lord Xiu Yan.
Lord Xiu Yan broke the news to Ayin that this was her last tribulation which meant she will vanished into nothingness.
Yuan Qi asked her to go with him to the pond while Ajiu asked her to go with him to the Demon Realm and he was going to look after her.
Ayin declined and jumped into the lake below but Yuan Qi followed her. She was surprised but then Yuan Qi was pulled back into the bridge because Ayin had to do her own tribulation.
Lord Xiu Yan showed the withering blood lotus to to Yuan Qi and Ajiu.
Yuan Qi, who felt tremendous guilt for killing Ayin used his god power to revive the blood lotus but it did not make any difference. As a last resort, he also transferred his god spirit despite being begged and warned by his assistant that this action might kill Yuan Qi.
For a while the flower seemed to bloom but then it started to wither.
Yuan Qi who had collapsed by taken home by teleportation by his assistant.
Poor Yuan Qi was defeated, he was a shadow of his former cocky self. The only thing that slightly perked him up was Yu, Ayin’s egg sister had hatched and turned into a feisty girl who told Yuan Qi that Ayin would be upset if she learns that Yuan Qi still had not found out who actually harmefd Ayin even after 1000 years had passed.🤣🤣🤣
Yuan Qi at last found some verve from his depressive stupor.
Meanwhile, the Pheonix Clan was about to elect a new interim master/Emperor and Feng Ming was the strongest contender.
But before he was announced, the sacred sycamore tree started lighting up. The clan teleported en masse in front of the tree and were just in time to see Feng Yin coming to life.

`Lord Lin Mo told Ajiu that they should go to Wutong to discuss the marriage between Ajiu and Feng Yin.
Ajiu told his uncle he would not marry a girl. He was very categorical about it.

The Eagle King was with Feng Yin, Ajiu and his daughter Yan Shuang. They were discussing how to smoke out the devil working inside the immortal world.
The Eagle King said that a God Light could illuminate a devil but a God light is hard to come by unless two demigods are to get married. He then said that Feng Yin could marry…
Ajiu volunteered immediately. They all knew that it would be a fake marriage.
Feng Yin was not sure at first but this was the only to get to the truth of what happened at Daze Mountain.
Ajiu said that it would also help him to avenge his Aunt and to find the purple moon.
In no time, the news of a wedding was announced to Ajin/YuanQi who immediately left his meeting to go to Feng Yin.
He said that why marry Ajiu when she could marry him.
Episode 34
Poor Ajiu could only stand on top of the bridge overlooking the newly weds. Again, he was late even if it is only a fake marriage.
As expected, the heavens blessed the newly weds a blast of god’s light.
YuanQi took advantage of the situation and was behaving as the dovoted, completely enamoured groom espeically when they noticed that there may be spy in the palace.
Lusi and and Wang Anyu looks gorgeous as the bride and groom. Red really suits Lusi.
Yuan Qi tried to tell Feng Yin that he was happy as the groom and will make her happy. She gave him a divorce scroll and told him that she will file the paper in a month’s time.
Yuan Qi happily said that he will make use of the month to stay by her side.
The next morning, Feng Yin and noticed that Yuan Qi was gone.
What she did not know was that he solely took the Thunder Tribulation from the gods who found out about the fake marriage.
Meanwhile, Ajui was missing Yan Shuang who had finally ascended into bieng the queen of the Eagle Clan.
He gatecrashed the ceremony and was also upset that Li Xian, the suitor was invited while he was not.
Meanwhile, Lord Hua was inciting Hua Shu to fully turn into the devil side.
Through investigation, Yuan Qi and Feng Yin found out that Lord Hua was the devil collaborator.
They needed Ajui’s fox hair to get into the mountain without being noticed. Ajiu gave them his fox hair which meant losing his rare 10th tail.
Ajiu came to realised that Ayin was really gone and Feng Yin is not Ayin. He also told Yuan Qi that whether she was Ayin or Feng Yin, Yuan Qi was always in her heart.
Ajiu confided his love woe with Yan Shuang to Feng Yin and Yuan Qi. Feng Yin and Yuan Qi could see that Ajiu had really well and truly fallen for Yan Shuang.
Episode 35 – The Episode to go back to again and again.
Lady Hong Chou was at it again and went to see Feng Yin about the marriage.
Feng Yin was majestic and told Lady Hong Chou that she was Ayin.
Yuan Qi and Feng Yin are in search of the Purple Moon, they had to fly over the Rhuoshui River to get to the hidden cave.
Feng Yin managed to locate the Purple Moon using the energy from Ningyuan Mountain but they realised that there is a barrier which dirrectly connects it to Abbysal Prison.
Yuan Qi was more certain that Hua Mo had turned to the devil side.
Despite, the rather uncertain times, Yuan Qi took advantage of the situation and insisted that he shares the bed with Feng Yin. They are so cute.
Feng Yin noticed the worsening wound from thunder slash on Yuan Qi’s back and worries about it.
Hua Shu came to Qiangshi Palace and spoke to Lady Hong Chou.
This time Lady Hong Chou showed that she had learned her lesson regarding interfering between Yuan Qi and Feng Yin so she told Hua Shu to eff of.
Hua Shu was not finished though as she found Yu and would have hurt her if Feng Yin did not turn up.
Hua Shu was knocked out by Feng Yin.
Lady Hong Chou went to Feng Yin to apologise again for her past misdemeanor. She explained that Yuan Qi/Gu Jin had always loved Ayin/Feng Yin.
He might have done it the wrong way but he did what he did with only trying to protect Ayin. Lady Hong Chou admitted how she used extreme emotional blackmail to make Gu Jin breaks up with Ayin. Despite this, he told Hong Chou that he was ready to forego being a true god for Ayin. Gu Jin gave away most of energy and spirit for the sake of Ayin and yet it still went wrong and Ayin accidentally died.
For the last 1000 years Yuan Qi had searched every inch of the three realms for Ayin. He never gave up on finding her.
Feng Yi felt sad of what Gu Jin and Yuan Qi had gone through for her and she did not have a clue. Instead, she hated him.
Finally, under the fire phoenix tree, Yuan Qi and Feng Yin made up and ended up making out after agreeing to forget the sad past.
They do make such a beautiful couple. Stunning to watch.
By the way, this episode is so sweet but I have a bit of a cry with the nostalgic scenes where Ayin could not find Gu Jin in the market. Silence Wang’s ost was so poignant.
Episode 36
Hua Mo told Hua Shu that Lan Feng’s body is ready to ressurect but they need more power and the devil power can bring Lan Feng to life.
Hua Shu was aghast at first but in the end she had no choice as her father forced her to acquire devilish power.
Meanwhile, Ajiu got a shock when he heard it from Shuang that she was getting engaged to Lian Xi so her friendship with Ajiu could not go on the same way as it was.
Poor Ajiu was crashed.
He went to find solace with Feng Yin and Yuan Qi but what he found was a very loved up pair. He left them in disgust.
Hua Shu used her new devil power to ressurect Lan Feng but Hua Mo said that she needed the Water Beast elixir to wake Lan Feng. It so happened Yu is going to the mortal realm.
Sure enough, Yu was attacked but Qing Yi turned up and then Feng Yin and Yuan Qi. They found traces of the devil to the net thrown at Qing Yi and Yu.
Feng Yin told Qing Yi to look after Yu while they get to the bottom of the matter.
Shuang and Ajiu turned up and protected Feng Yin and Yuan Qi. The four then realised that the barrier to the Abyssal Prison was situatied at the mortal realm where no one to protect the humans and turned them into crazed being.
Shuang escorted Yu and Qing Yi to the Heavenly realm but they were ambushed by Hua Shu and Hua Mo who were after Yu internal core for Lan Feng.
shuang was heavily injured but then Ajiu turned up and fought off Hua Mo and Hua Shu.
He told Qing Yi to report everything to the Heavenly Empress while he took Shuang to the Demon realm to cure her injuries.
Ajiu finall confessed that he likes Shuang but she turned him down as it was too late. But then she fainted.
Ajiu was told by Uncle Lin Mo that Shuang was poisoned by Hua Shu. To cure her would make her lose her immortal power.
Ajiu said he would sacrifice his ten tails instead for Shuang. Ajiu almost sacrificed his life but Feng Yin and Yuan Qi turned up to protect Ajiu form complete internal injury.
Shuang was saved. This was all what Yuan Qi had to hear before he said to Feng Ying to take care of them why he goes to Hua Mo for a final confrontation.
At that moment, Hua Shu was at her most vengeful because she and her father father failed to wake Lan Feng instead he was gone forever.
Episode 37
Yuan Qi went to Bainiao Island where he was confronted by Hua Mo who accused him of abusing his god power.
Yuan Qi chastised Hua Mo for leading immortals to the way of the devil.
Hua Mo said that Hua Shu has been cultivating and had become the devil queen. She will come to rescue Hua Mo soon.
Ajiu had become a very devoted guy for Shuang.
Xiu Yan sacrificed himself for Ao Ge. He felt that he could no longer seal in the devil into the abyssal realm so he disconnected with Ao Ge. To make it easier for Ao Ge, Xiu an erased Ao Ge’s memory. Thee stone promised not to tell Ao Ge what happened to protect him from himself.
Something miraculous was happing at Qingchi Palace, Xian Shan had turned up but with no memory of the past. Xian Shan was suprised when Qing Yi called him master.
Yuan Qi said that because all the disciple at Daze Mountain sacrificed themselves to resist the devil, they can recover. The Daze Mountain had also recoved. Yuan Qi made Qing Yi the chief of Daze Mountain because he had the highest seniority.
Everyone of the disciples were returning except fo Xiao Zhu. They found him at Qinglong Platform. They also realised that the return of the disciple was no accident. It was Yuan Qi who found them.
Feng Yin finally found out that Yuan Qi had been taking the heavenly tribulation all to himself. Shen Jian told her that Yuan Qi took all the blame.
Feng Yin was so worried about Yuan Qi who looks so frail. He assured her that he just need a little R&R and he will be ok.
But then Feng Yin found Yuan Qi literally a shadow of himself, Apparently his god spirit is exhausted and his physical form is dissipating. He was also still existing because of his spirit sword.
Poor Feng Yin was heartbroken but felt guilty because she was partly responsible for the destruction of Daze Mountain and its disciples, More so when Shen Jian said that Yuan Qi gave his last god spirit to the lotus flower that was Ayin so it would not wither.
Feng Yin could not begin to fathom all the sacrifices he did for her and yet she misunderstood him most of the time.
Yuan Qi told her not to worry because he will find a way to come back to her. Afterall he looked for her for a thousand year.
Lian Xi is a really nice guy. He released Shuang from their engagement.
Episode 38
The rubble that was Daze Mountain was put back together by Yuan Qi into a once more glorious state.
Everyone was busy arranging everything.
Feng Yin was purturbed to find that some documents in the archive had gone missing. A boy immortal who was the Lord of Literature was not happy with the condition of his library. When Feng Yin asked him who borrowed the ancient text of the birth of gods, the boy custodian said that he does not know as he could not watch the library 24/7. Plus he was busy with the imperial examination in the mortal realm.
Feng Yin threatened to burn the library if the boy custodian does not give her an answer so he was forced to name Chang Que.
Feng Yin was upset that Yuan Qi was behind it as Chang Que is his man. Feng Yin demanded to know how they can help Yuan Qi.
Cheng Que was forced to say that hey head to fill up the Poof of Spirit, only then can Yuan Qi regain his spirit. It was complicated and emotive process to feel the pool. Each one of the immortals had to sacrifice the internal core of their beloved.
Yuan Qi knew that Feng Yin would offered her Phoenix Core in a heartbeat to Yuan Qi. Without her core, Feng Yin will die as she is not a true god., This was the reason why Yuan Qi confiscated all the materials for resurrected a true god from the archive.
Feng Yin immediately confronted Yuan Qi and told him that she would give her core to him but he said tha the was ok; he obviously was not.
Feng Yin turned to the Spirit Sword to ask how Yuan Qi is.
The Spirit Sword who can’t lie to save his life said that Yuan Qi was on his last leg. Yuan Qi only had three months to live.
Lady Hong Chou turned up. She said that she was going against goddess Yihe but she just had to say that there is another way to open the Pool of Spirit and that was to use the Primus Spiritual Crystal. The crystal is however inside the Abyssal Prison.
Feng Yin did not even finish listening to the rest of what Lady Hong Chou was saying. Feng Yin flew away followed by Yuan Qi to Ruoshui Cave.
It was way too dangerous and Yuan Qi would not allow Feng Yin to go to Abyssal Prison but she told him to make a choice: her phoenix core or the crystal?!!!
Feng Yin was thwarted into going to the Abyssal Prison by the arrival of Sword Spirit and Fu Chen. Yuan Qi assured her that he had three months still; he would be able to find a solution to his mortality or immortality!🤣
Feng Yin seemingly acquissed to what Yuan Qi said. She took him to the old cottage a the back of Daze Mountain where Gu Jin hatched her from an egg. They had dinner and made Yuan Qi drink her famous Pear Blossom Brew.
She made it extra potent which sent Yuan Qi into a deep sleep. But just before he went to the land of nod, she told him that she could not really not go to the Abyssal Prison ASAP as time is the essence of Yuan Qi’s current condition.
Feng Yin went to the Nether Realm but found that Ao Ge is now amnesiac as Xiu Yan does not want anything to happen to his twin so he completely removed himself from the psyche of Ao Ge.
Feng Yin had to convince three stone that if she can go to the Abyssal Prison, she could save Xiuyan as well so with the help of Three Stone, Feng Yin managed to return Ao Ge’s memory back to him.
Yuan Qi turned turned up and mentioned that they can get into Abyssal Prison and shut the gate afterwards if they can create enough chaos energy. To do this they had to combine the energy from the Nether, Demon and Immortal realm. So they had to ask the three realms to temporary remove the barrier markers separating them.
This was accomplished but they needed the seal from the Immortal Empress.
The Immortal Empress said she does not have the seal anymore but if they wanted the seal then Feng Yin had to become the Immortal Empress.
But it was not as easy as just becoming the Empress, Feng Yin had to compete with other candidates.
