Episode 1
I have to say that the leads have so much chemistry even from the first episode. It is very watchable with Seven Tan once again playing a feisty heroine to Zheng Ye Cheng’s dashing hero. Love the first episode already.
It started Ji Guinan who is a Red Brocade master. He recently perfected the Shu Red Brocade which much sought after. unfortunately, this kickstarted bad fortune for the Ji Family.
The Logistic Office set Master Ji up to his doom. Mr Liu of the Logistic office replaced the Shu Red Brocade which were to be sent to the palace as imperial tribute but along the way, it was substituted with fake ones. Master Ji then was blamed for trying to deceive the king. When Master Ji denied it and asked to speak to the governor, Mr Liu cut Master Ji’s throat.
Master Ji’s children who were watching from afar were shocked especially Ji Ying Ying. Her brother frightened brother told her to keep quiet.
