This milkshake is for adults only. It is delicious, sumptuous and utterly thirst quenching but as it contains alcohol, this is out-of-bounds for the little darlings.
This is a mummy-me-time treat.
If you still have a bit left over from that large bottle of Baileys during the New Year celebration, then the thrifty in you should worry no more as there is a recipe to finish that bottle off. 😉
Mudslide Milkshake
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Baileys or any other Irish cream liqueur
1/4 cup chocolate vodka
1 pint coffee ice-cream
1 frozen banana (chop before freezing!)
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Preparation:
Using a food processor, combine the chocolate vodka, Baileys, coffee ice-cream and the frozen slices of bananas. Blend until it has turned into a ‘smoothie’ consistency.
Serve in tall glasses and top with a generous sprinkle of cocoa powder.
