It was new year’s eve and Jiang Ke Le went to get her boyfriend a laptop as a present for the holiday.
As she was in the town centre, she noticed that the girls are behaving oddly. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves with invisible boyfriends. She found this weird.
A man stopped her wanting to know if she wanted a boyfriend, she told him that she already got a boyfriend.
Despite this, the man insisted on letting her try a pair of dark glasses and when she did she saw that it was virtual reality glasses that give you a chance to date one of the Love Boys, four males who had everything: looks, physique, gentleness, everything that makes an ideal boyfriend.
But Ke Le was happy with her boyfriend so she dashed out and went to her part-time job in a 7/11 kind of shop. She was excited about her end of year bonus.
Instead of a bonus, she got the sack because she was late for 5 minutes.
Anyway, instead of the bonus, she gets three packets of almost out of date triangular rice seaweeds.
Ke Le was so excited to meet up with her boyfriend who she will introduce to her father.
When she saw her boyfriend, he would not accept the laptop because he loved someone else and wanted to break up with Ke Le in person.
She was upset but her day got worst when her seaman, father who she misses very much was still at sea and can’t come to see her. But she spoke to him and told her that he sent her a present.
When she got home she opened the present and it was a Love Boy (LB)glasses.
Lack of anything else to do, she tried on the glasses but did not see anything.
She just muttered that ‘of course, her father would buy a fake one’. She was still quietly moaning while wearing the LB when she noticed a lit-up cake held by a gorgeous young man.
The man introduced himself as Lu Xiao, her boyfriend. Lu Xiao was very kind, he knew everything that she wanted most including seeing her father once again and he was there with her sharing a New Year’s dinner with her and chatting with her so naturally. What could be more perfect.
A year later, Ke Le had been truly sucked into the Love Boy and Lu Xiao is her boyfriend.
It was the third anniversary of the LB and she wanted to go; she had the ticket to go after clicking 50K time on LB but she had to take a woman to the hospital after she fainted so she was late and the guards would not let her in.
Other girls quietly stayed outside and some told her off for insisting on going in because that was disrespectful their VR boyfriends.
As she has nothing to do, Ke Le went to get the train to go home but she saw a huge photo of Lu Xiao and she was so enchanted. She was about to kiss it on the lips when a boy pushed her and silently begged her to hide him.
So she was still looking at Lu Xiao when she ended up kissing the boy running away from suited men.
When the man’s baseball cap came off, she noticed that he was the spitting image of the photo behind him. He was Lu Xiao.
So cute… I wanted to watch the next episode.
Episode 2
Poor besotted Ke Le was so confused because Lu Xiao who kissed her was flesh and blood while her boyfriend Lu Xiao was just an online game boyfriend.
Just to make sure that Lu Xiao her game boyfriend still existing she went to their world. She then told him to go with him where she met the human Lu Xiao.
I am not sure why this drama did not do as well or got the hype. Both Li Landi and Edward Lai are dropped dead gorgeous with oodles of chemistry.
Anyway, Nan Xiangwan works as HR manager. She’s very strict and much-feared i their company. Even her own manager who interviewed her for her job had once told her to be firm with her decision and only worked for the good and betterment of the company had told her that she was too strict. She just laughed it off and told her boss that she was getting soft.
When Nan Xiangwan went back to her office she found the latest book of her high school best friend which was about Nan Xiangwan.
She started reading the book and it said that one regret that Nan had was not having been able to study at Nanguan University. If she could go back in time she would do everything …
Then Nan fell asleep.
When she woke up it was 30 August 2011. She was in middle school in Xiangli School in the middle of a science test which will determine which class section she would end up with.
As can be expected Nan thought that what was happening was part of an extreme reunion. So she acted rather wildly which kept her classmates laughing and sniggering. They thought that she had gone totally bonkers in the middle of the exam.
Nan then acted as if she was an HR Director and even borrowed her teacher’s phone to call her work.
Her teacher told her to wake up but she told him that he was a good teacher but even better as an actor because he was really into the extreme school reunion.
She was told to leave the classroom, and then she noticed the date on the noticeboard. She was beginning to realise that she was in another timeline.
She went to her mother’s house and was happy to see her mother looking so young and beautiful.
Anyway, she thought she was in a dream and when she wakes up the next morning it would be back to normal but nope when she woke up she was still at her mother’s house being woken up by the young cat called Mango.
She borrowed her mother’s dress to look older and went to see her boss. She tried to tell her boss that she went back in the past.
Her boss tolerated her and even told her if she was really having a second chance, then she was lucky. Take it.
Nan did try everything to go back into the present.
Anyway, Nan was able to get a personal guarantee from her boss to hire her after she had graduated from university.
She went back to school and sauntered to class 2 but Lin Xiaoran came to fetch her because they were classmates in class 7.

Poor Nan was victimised by her classmates because they think that it was all due to her that Zeng Jianfei was expelled.
But Nan was so cool and treated her classmates like they were just little children.

When they went back to school Xiaoran as Nan if he was her boyfriend.

It was a basketball tournament and Xiaoran was playing against another school.
Nan was not interested in watching the game.
The game got so dirty that poor Mr Wang end up being hurt.
Director Zhang went to see how Mr Wang was. He was ok but she was worried about him.
Teacher Wang was ready to go back to class but Nan told him to make a bigger impact so the students would be feeling good to try their best for him.
So Teacher pretended that he got so ill and when he returned to class he appeared to have amnesia.
But he said he was just kidding seeing the worried faces before him.
Then he said he was happy to be back and he has a surprise for them.
It was Zeng Jianfei who was returning and then leaving immediately because he realise school was not for him.
Episode 8
Chen Shiyun and Yubai were asked to be the poster students for their school.
Chen Shiyun did not really want to do it but she was inadvertently forced to.
She looked so good with Yubai that she ended up trending on Weibo.
However, old photos of her when she was a child surprised. She was chubby and the other students started sniggering.
Poor Shiyun was upset but even Lin Xiaoran did not know who posted the photos.
He asked Nana if she knew what to do as she usually seems to know everything.
She said might have an idea but she wanted something in return.
He asked what?
Nan said his time. She wanted him to be at her beck and call at school so she could concentrate at her studies.
He agreed.

Lin Xiaoran’s mother was not happy that he might be dating Nan. She was so unhappy she went to seen Nan’s mother.
Meanwhile, Nan and Xiaoran solved the case of the poster of Shiyun’s photos.

The council chairman was moved by the festival but said that it was not up to him whether the auditorium is renovated or pulled to the ground and build a simple cubicle-like.

`Lin Xiaoran returned back to the basketball court. Nan did not really want to watch the game but she heard the Xiaoran was hurt.
She rushed to the game and ended up enjoying it and cheering for Xiaoran who won the game for the school with his last seconds three-pointers.

So cute. The classmates are now beginning to pair up.
Xiaoran was trying to be grown-up by drinking coffee just he just doesn’t like it. Nan found it cute.
Zeng Jianfei is back to school once again and this time he said he is serious.
Nan is inundated with requests for tutoring from her classmates and it became problematic as all she wanted to do was to revise as well so she could be upgraded to Class 2.
So she had an idea of getting a tutor for her classmates.
She chose Zhu Cong, who was a self-confess genius who doesn’t need to revise anymore.
But when she asked him, he looked down on her classmates and said that it would not be a challenge.
So her classmates wrote a physics problem in pieces of paper.
Zhu Cong was flabbergasted that he could not solve one of the problems. But he was not giving up.

Zhu Cong challenged Nan to solve a board physics problem. Nan won which surprised the overly confident Zhu Cong.
But poor Nan ended up collapsing because her mother had been over nourishing her with good rich food and supplementary medicine.
She was taken to the hospital by Yubai but when she woke up Xiaoran was also there because he was having his medical exam as part of the qualification to passing the pilot student exam.
She told her mother that she was very unhappy at class 2 and wanted to return to class 7 which she did.
Her mother worried that she might not be able to qualify for Guanzhou University.
Luckily she was one of the top 10 graduating students in Xiangli. Ms Zhang, the student advisor doesn’t know how she did it. It was miraculous.

The students are almost on breaking point studying for their GAOKAO.

A happy ending and I can totally recommend this drama.
Apparently, this is one of those ‘Be Careful of what you wish for’ kinda things.
Li Fu Zhu is a 19-year old girl who wished she good travel somewhere else after being told off by her mother once again
Before she knew what hit her, she was time-traveling into her favourite comic book.
Episode 1
Li Fu Zhu is a hyperactive young lady who is obsessed with comic books. Even in class, she would sneak a read of her comics rather than study.
She got caught by her teacher and made to stand outside with her friend, Lan Er.
When she got back to class later, she found Yun Yi, the class school monitor going through her things to confiscate her comics.
She tried to grab her bag away from him but he would not let go so she pulled down his jog bottoms which shocked Yun Yi so much, he let go.
He then chased her everywhere until she ended up in the boy’s toilet.
Yun Yi followed her but she would not open the door of the toilet cubicle.
She was behaving horrendously when it went all dark and then the toilet bowl starter to light up in pinkish colour.
With her shitty behaviour, she got swallowed by the toilet. How appropriate is that?😜😜
She then material in a kingdom of Yun Lai; falling on the head of Yun Li, the emperor who was in the bog (toilet).
Because she fell from the sky, she was thought of as a heavenly maiden who could bring prosperity to the nation.
She immediately noticed that the people in the empire were mostly known to her.
The young emperor was a figurehead. The real power was the state preceptor who was trying to marry off his 16-year-old daughter to the Emperor.
Yun Li, however, just like in the comic book, chose to castrate himself rather than marry the beautiful Ruan Qing because he did not want to give the state preceptor more power.
Episode 2
Li Fu Zhu got curious about the Emperor castrating himself that she went to witness the event. `With her enthusiasm, she disturbed the point when he was about to do it in front of Ruan Qing.
The Emperor went after and she ended up in the imperial bog which she jumped into.
She thought that she was back in the present time but when she opened the door, the Emperor was there with his sword ready to kill her.
She then woke up and still in ancient time being stared at by the Emperor.
He asked her why she fell on the toilet. She said it was an accident.
He was so curious, he sent his loyal guard, Hong Yi to dive into the toilet.
Nothing was found but Fu Zhu was not safe because she promised on the first day that she has the ability to make the country rich.
She promised to do it at midday, thinking that she would be safe and sound back at home at present time.
Episode 3 & 4
I must say I am enjoying this drama. Though low budget, the cast is putting their heart into their roles which then make a very watchable drama.
Anyway, the Emperor asked her to comply with what she promised. To. make the country prosperous.
She can’t and was prepared to die at the sword of the Emperor.
But Prince Li saved her and pleaded with the Emperor. Then the State Preceptor also turned up and told the Emperor to give the heavenly lady a chance.
The State Preceptor found out from Ruan Qing that Fu Shu knew all about the dirt in their family and if something happens to her all their misdemeanours will be trending in the village.
The State Preceptor was alarmed to be trending. He thought it was a special weapon. Well it is really.
Anyway, the Emperor could not help being curious about Fu Shu especially when Hong Yi found Fu Shu’s backpack.
They could not open it and was about to slash it when Fu Shu turned up. She opened it and took out her mobile phone which frightened the Emperor when he saw the pictures.
Fu Shu then made offered the Emperor some of her junk food snacks. The Emperor was wary at first so Fu Zhu asked Hong Yi to try one.
Hong Yi absolutely loved it which encouraged the emperor to try one as well. But once he tried one, he could not get enough. He especially loved the cola which made him burp.
The Emperor and Fu Zhu became playmates. She taught him board games and he taught her to shoot an arrow.
When Fu Zhu saw that he was not interested in his usual food, she introduced the idea of a hotpot.
The Emperor just loved it, the spicier the better.
Ruan Qing noticed the growing friendship between the Emperor and Fu Zhu.
She became jealous of Fu Zhu but not as jealous of his dead sister.
Her older sister was the first real love of the Emperor. But her sister ended up hanging herself when she was not allowed to marry the Emperor, who was only a crown prince at that time.
Anyway, she was trying everything to seduce the emperor but he was not just into her.
Episode 5.
Fan Zhu was being threatened by Ruan Qing to convince the Emperor to marry her or she would let her father, State Preceptor, to deal with her.
On the other hand, the Emperor had tasked Fan Zhu to find a way that he doesn’t have to marry Ruan Qing.
During a night time barbecue which was attended Prince Li.
Prince Li told her why the Emperor doesn’t want to get married. He recounted what happened a few years ago.
The Emperor who was only a Crown Prince the had made a marriage pact with Ruan Qie. They decided that they would get married after he comes back.
But he was only gone for six months when the State Preceptor found Ruan Qie in flagrant delicto with a male servant. Not long after, Ruan Qie hanged herself.
Fu Zhu said that probably Ruan Qie was drugged.
They were so caught up with their gossiping that they did not notice that the reeds behind them were on fire.
Episode 6
The Empress Dowager told the Emperor to marry Ruan Qing because it was only for him to keep the throne.
Episode 7
Fu Zhu found out that Lan’er was slapped repeatedly by the order of Ruan Qing. She was so annoyed she went to Ruan Qing armed with a cleaver but when she got
But once she got there and saw Ruan Qing having tea with the State Preceptor, she immediately turned into a scary cat.
She was so scared she was prepared to die when the battered maid of Ruan Qing grabbed the cleaver from Fu Zhu and then threw it back at her.
Thank goodness the Emperor got there in time and Hong Yi flicked the cleaver with his sword.
Lan’er saw it and promptly fell in love with Hong Yi forgetting the fact that Chef Xue saved her earlier from Ruan Qing and then fell her the choicest food.
Poor Prince Li saw the emperor and Fu Zhu having a moment and he was very upset.
Fu Zhu is quite useless at the moment. When is she going to be feisty and be kick-ass?
The State Preceptor bribed Fu zhu with a four-bedroom house with two courtyards. She was so happy to accept it.
Meanwhile, Fu Zhu and Prince Li tried to set a trap for the real arsonist.
Episode 8
Fu Zhu went excitedly to the house given to her by the State Preceptor. When she got there she found all the people being massacred by soldiers.
The Emperor learned that Fu Shu had left the palace. He went looking for her very worriedly.
Episode 9
The Emperor found a very traumatised Fu Zhu in the house given to her by the state preceptor.
Fu Zhu was blaming herself. Because she accepted the house, all the occupants were massacred.
The Emperor told her that it was not her fault, it was another of the state preceptor’s tricks. He had done something like this many times.
The Emperor said that he had beaten to death the person closest to him, the Grand Mentor, his teacher.
When Fu Zhu aked if she will end like his teacher?
The Emperor hurriedly assured her that he will protect her at any cost.
Lan’er, her maidservant had become completely man-hungry and often ignore Fu Zhu. I supposed because she was having a better love life that Fu Zhu. She had Chef Xue and General Hong to ogle.
Prince Li helped Fu Zhu to escape the palace which the Emperor found out.
The Emperor said to let them go.
It was not easy for Fu Zhu to escape because most of her brain cells were left in the 21st century plus the fact that Lan’er was even dumber than Fu Zhu. Lan’er also put something in /Fu Zhu’s food to loosen her bowel.
So when Prince Li and Fu Zhu were running away from the guards she suddenly wanted to poo and then she got prod in the bottom.

Episode 1
It started well, it was like a fairy tale, very ethereal.
The curfew man was banging his drum or cymbal warning everyone to turn in for the night. During his round, he stopped for a while to give in to his fetish of smelling a lock of hair he had with him.
Before he could really satiate himself, a woman in a long lacey burgundy gown glided through the town. She killed everyone she passed by including the curfew man.
The only witness to this was a fat black cat.
The owner of a well-stocked study found out that it had been turned upside down. He called the prefects, police, which were led by a stunning-looking Zhan Hong.
Zhang Hong saw the study with scrolls, books and paintings turned upside down to the floor. He picked a red flower on the floor and immediately said that the culprit was not human. In fact it was a cat, a black cat. He said to the owner that he had left his study window ajar which let in the cat.
Zhang Hong spied the cat on the roof and followed it. The cat is the most agile feline in history. He can jump fearlessly from one roof to another, no matter how high. He would not need a fireman to rescue him.
The cat led him to a hanging bridge across a pond where a punch of burgundy pansies grew on the mouth of the bridge.
Looking at the petal of the pansies, Zhang Hong reckoned that the owner of the cat was Xihualiu.
Lord Jiang had previously instructed the prefects to leave Xihualiu alone. This only made Zhang Hong curious.
Before he could investigate the cat, a female prefect had told Zhang Hong that murder and kidnapping most mayhem had happened in the next village.
The common denominator to the murders was a courtesan called Cui Yu.
I like this drama already because there is no beating around the bush, Cui Yu was revealed to the viewers already as the burgundy girl with red talons specter.
And the sect leader Duanmu was annoyed with her.
Cui Yu turned out to be a mountain demon who had been devouring spirit soul from human to make her lover immortal.
But when Cui Yu found out that her lover was just using her, she killed him in front of Duan Mu and Zhang Hong.
Despite Cui Yu confessing, Zhang Hong still would not release Duan Mu and took her to prefecture where she had an audience with Jiang Wen Qing which she though looked rather familiar.
When Duan Mu wanted to leave, she was prevented by Zhang Hong and Duan Mu got annoyed.
Duan Mu believed in eye for an eye justice while Zhang Hong things that she should answer to the law, rule and justice promulgated in the land.
Meanwhile in the heavenly realm, her brother, the god of Justice started worrying about her and came to human realm to find out how his innocent and shy sister was.
Ella Tang came back from abroad to get away from her controlling mother, from her frenetic job and from the humiliation of finding out that her boyfriend had secretly married someone else.

Ella lived with Qizhan who rented her grandmother’s house.
Episode 3
Qizhan got Ella a job from the company he works with as a receptionist.
Her genius in computer was found out immediately.
Episode 4
Lu Zhiyi made Ella his assistant whether she liked it or not.
Episode 5
Ella had a bad evening at the alumni reunion arranged by Jason. He did not tell her that her ex-boyfriend will be there. Then it got worst because Selena, the ex-boyfriend’s wife also turned up and proceeded to humiliate Ella.
Ella left really heartbroken. Just outside she met Zhi Yi would look after her and accompanied her while she cries her heart out.
He Qi Zhan then took over when she got home. He was like the brother she never had.
They then spent the next day chilling and taking selfies where they met Zhao Meng Di who was desperate to get her photos taken for a contest.
It turned out that Jason planned Ella’s meeting with her ex so he could take compromising photos of them together to use as leverage for a business contract with Hash where Ella’s ex is the son-in-law of the vice president.
Episode 6
Ella thinks that Jason was the chubby cheeks boy in primary school.
Zhiyi wanted to tell her that it was him but finding it hard to find the right words on the right time. And he still would not return her notebook.
Episode 7
Zhiyi’s dog ‘told’ him to tell Ella the truth so he categorically told Ella to have dinner with him.
As it was an order, she was forced to cancel her dinner date with Jason.
Ella was impressed how good a cook Zhiyi was.
After dinner, he showed her a selection of notebooks much like the one she owned. He then told her to take everything but still unable to give her the notebook because he sent it for repair.
He said it was not his fault and put solely the blame to his dog which shocked Ella. She told him he must not blame the poor mutt.
Mendi and Qishan are getting close. He more or less had become her official photographer, minder and assistant.
After their dinner together, Ella told Shiyi to smile more because he looks good smiling.
So Shiyi took this advice to heart and smiled at everyone the next morning at the office.
The people started to get nervous and asked Ella why the boss was behaving strangely.
In the end, Ella told him to cut it out. Stop smiling already.
Episode 8
Shiyi could not believe that Ella told him to stop smiling when she was the one who advised him to smile more.
He went to Qishan to ask whether he really smile terribly.
Qishan said that Shiyi reminds him of someone in the movie – Valdemort.
Shiyi was so annoyed he told Qishan that he was on duty this weekend.
Hash came to have a random spot check at Shiyi’s company at the same time as Jason instructed to attack Shiyi’s computer system with a virus.
Ella fix the computer system but she was suspected of working in cahoots with Jason because they found that she had a hard drive from Jason’s company. When they asked her what was in the harddrive she would not tell.
She then went out to dinner with Jason and Shiyi was unhappy about it.
Jason offered her a job in his company. He said that it was a top job and that he really wanted her to work for him so he could see her everyday.
She said she does not want a high job. She wanted a reception job.
When she got back she had to confront Shiyi and his ire.
She offered to resign but he would not accept.
They ended up in the lift which broke.
Ella suffers from fear of close spaces and was having an attack. He kissed her to distract her.
Episode 9
Ella went on another date with Jason, who pretended to get drunk on bottles of sake.
Ella had to take him back to his home and helped him to bed.
He removed his shirt and showed her his gorgeous toned abs. Yeszzzz! Shize is gorgeous.
Episode 10
Gu Ling, the ex-girlfriend of Shiyi is back.
They did have a cute romance.
Anyway, Ella is trapped at Jason’s apartment.
She saw a photo album of herself on his bedside table sort of saving that head always had a crush on her.
She had no option but to stay at Jason’s and sleep on the settee but realised she was thinking of Shiyi.
Shiyi treated her later as if she was a total slapper after he found out also that she was shacking up with He Qizhen.
Shiyi told Ella that she can stay in the Reception or leave.
She left… for now.
Gu Ling found out about Ella and promised that she will not let Ella have Shiyi.
Episode 11
Gu Ling started creating problems at the office and in private.
Episode 12
Gu Ling humiliated Ella and more or less Shiyi just stood there without really protecting Ella and Ella noticed this.
She was so upset she resigned and Shiyi accepted it.
Episode 13
Qizhen spoke to Shiyi about why he would let Ella go.
Shiyi seemed tempted to restart with Gu Ling.
Qishen told him that Shiyi was some kind of stupid even contemplating getting back with Gu Ling. Qishen reminded Shiyi that Gu Ling messed him up last time. For two years Shiyi would not look at another woman.

Gu Ling took back Meatballs, the dog, which upset Shiyi.
Jason is determined to separate Qizhen from Mengdi so he went to get an agent to recruit Mengdi to be a professional vlogger. The agent gave Mengdi a condition that she must not have a boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Ella and Yelin had a heart-to-heart talk.
Ella confirmed that she had a crush once with Jason but that was in college and it has gone a long time ago. She advised Yelin to confess to Jason.
Episode 21
Yelin confessed to Jason but it did not go too well. She ended up saying goodbye to him.
Meanwhile, Ella, Shiyi and Jason met up in Lijiang for a business conference.
Poor Jason is a lonely figure in Lijiang. He tried to send photos of Lijiang to Yelin but she decided to ignore it, starting to let go of him.

I thought the last 4 episodes went downhill. Jason was fobbed off with Yelin. It made the story like they had to wrap it nicely so he gets his token partner which was so wrong, it did not work! He deserved a better match, not the fourth FL after all Jason had the dimples. LOL
