I have to admit this drama is hard to review and even harder to give a recap or summary to.  The reason is that it is not subtitled.  Can’t understand what they were saying.

But watching it based solely on actions, I had that feeling at the start of the drama that it has similarities to the Japanese drama, Hana Yori Dango where the gorgeous elite of the school bait and torture the poor lead girl.

The similarities though ended pretty soon.  The male lead is not as bad as Domyouji Tsukasa of Hana Yori Dongo or Go Jun-Pyo of Boys Over Flowers.

Long Ri Yi is the devil at school.  He does whatever he wants.  His bad boy attitude only made him more popular with the girls.

Zhang Jingmei is an honour student who transferred to Ri Yi’s school.

On her first day, she witnessed one of the girls seeming to about to jump off the rooftop of the school building.

But as soon as Ri Yi arrived in his sports car, the girl came down running to Ri YI.  Ri Yi pushed her to the ground which annoyed Jingmei.  No one gets annoyed or shows annoyance with Ri Yi.  They are not allowed.

Ri Yi noticed her then.  And before she knew what had hit her, Jingmei had signed a slave contract with Ri Yi.

To be fair, Ri Yi protected her from the jealousy and envy of the mean girls of the school.

Jingmei also ended up tutoring Ri Yi.

I really, really wish someone would add English subtitle to this drama.

It is so cute.

And apparently, there is a season two in the offing.

Episode 1

Finally subbed.

Zhang Jing Mei is an idol, she is a magazine cover girl, called the Venus Girl.

She transferred to a very prestigious school, which caters to excellent students.

The school site was donated by Long Ri Yi’s family.

Anyway Long Ri Yi is so popular, rich and gorgeous that many aspire to become his girlfriend.  Many invent new thing of getting his attention.

One such girl threaten to jump off the school building which was seen by JingMei, who was on her first day of school.

When Long Ri Yi turned up the girl who was threatening to jump off, came down willingly and confessed to Long Ri Yi.  She wanted to be his girlfriend.

Long Ri Yi was not amused with his hand he pushed down the girl by her face.

Jing Mei saw this and was utterly shocked.  She told off Long Ri YI.  But she quickly realised that the girl did not mind at all being pushed.

Jing Mei was so frustrated that she decided to just leave them all to it and walked away.

She was at the dean office getting her school contract when Long Ri Yi angrily sauntered in.

He was upset that he was kept up on the same grade again.

Jing Mei tried to interrupt and hoping to take her contract but he ripped it instead.

Jing Mei was trying to memorise her English vocabulary when she got destructed by an annoying car engine being so noisy.

She went to tell off the owner of the girl and found out it was the arrogant Long Ri Yi.

Finally Long Ri Yi cannot take JIng Mei’s many complaints.  He personally gave her a challenged note.

Episode 2

Jing Mei is being bullied at Ben Cheng School by the mean girls.

She was also given three choices by Long Ri Yi.  One she put up with all the bullying, two, she leaves Ben Cheng or three become his slave, he then presented her with a slave/master contract.

Jing Mei was forced to accept the slave/master contract because she does not want to leave the school because her father worked hard to get her a place in there.

Episode 3

Jing Mei has an online friend which she had agreed to meet.

Unfortunately, on her way to meet him, Long Ri Yi was waiting for her just outside her house.  He was taking her clothes shopping.

At the shop, he picked a lot of clothes for her to try on.

Jing Mei in between clothes changes, would meet her online friend in a nearby coffee shop.  This was hilarious.

But she got found out by both Jing Mei and her ‘date’.

It seems they know one another but they were both denying it.

Episode 4

Long Ri Yi is rather jealous of Jin Chun Xi’s friendship with Jing Mei.  So he gave her a revised contract that she is not allowed to date.

To have most of her free time, she has to become his private tutor.

Despite being banned from dating, Jing Mei still went to have a dinner date with Chun Xi.

Chun Xi had told her that he was childhood friend with Long Ri Yi.

Long Ri Yi confessed to Chun Xi thinking that he was a girl and there was a photo to prove it, where Chun Xi was dressed as a girl because his mother wanted a little daughter.

Chun Xi gave the photo to Jing Mei.

Jing Mei was so happy with her new find, she went immediately to Long Ri Yi’s house.

Long Ri Yi had just had a shower and had only had a towel wrapped around his waits.

Jing Mei was so surprised to see a half naked Long Ri Yi that she slipped and fell, grabbing on Long Ri Yi’s Towel.

Episode 5

They were both shocked.

Long Ri Yi said that Jing Mei was the very first one to see his majestic possession and therefore she had to take responsibility.

He then told Jing Mei that she will be his woman.

Episode 6

If Chun Xi is not bad enough as a love rival, Long Ri Yi found out that there was another male that has just come into Jing Mei’s life.

It was her new young music teacher, Long Hai Yi.  Is he his brother?  Or cousin?

But Jing Mei has also some cause to be concerned.  Long Ri Yi was rather excited to receive a call from Bai Yan’er.

Jing Mei felt a little jealousy.

Episode 7

Bai Yan’er turned out to be a very nice girl.  She’s the girlfriend of Long Hai Yi but not favoured by her mother.

Anyway, Long Hai Yi was much too busy with work and studies that he did not have much time at present to be at the beck and call of Bai Yan’er, who wanted to go hiking in the mountains.

Jing Mei volunteered to go with her.

On the day, JIng Mei’s immature brother stole her phone, she missed the call from Bai Yan’er cancelling out their day trip to the mountains.

Jing Mei went ahead to the mountains.

Thank goodness Long Ri Yi called Jing Mei’s phone and spoke to the brother who said that his sister forgot her phone but that she was meeting Bai Yan’er.

Long Ri Yi went to Bai Yan’er’s house and found her collapsed with a high fever.

He took her to the hospital and when she came to, there was a news that there was a landslide in the mountains.

Long Ri Yi did not waste time but drove to the mountains.

He joined the people digging out and clearing out the landslide.  He thought he saw Jing Mei’s shoe in the soil.

He was screaming whiile he was digging and promising that he won’t boss Jing Mei anymore.

Suddenly Jing Mei was holding an umbrella over him.

He was so overwhelmed with relief that he pulled her into his arms and kissed her.

It was both their first kiss.

Jing Mei was not sure why she allowed him to kiss her and promptly accepted a date with Chun Xi.

Episode 8

While Long Ri Yi is ready to be boyfriend/girlfriend in the open due to the kiss they shared, Jing Mei is back into being ‘hard to get’ telling Long Ri Yi that she will never ever like him.

Long Ri Yi however is in love.  Not only with Jing Mei but with love itself.

There was a really hilarious scene where his best buds asked him ‘psychological’ question to find out if he was really in love with Jing Mei.

He was in love with her and would do anything to get her to really like him.

Long Ri Yi was following her when he got into an ‘accident’ and ended up in the hospital.  He woke up having lost his memory.

Episode 9

Long Ri Yi thought that Jing Mei’s friend was his Jing Mei.  It was cute when almost kissed if Jing Mei did not interrupt them.

Jing Mei is now taking great pains into making Long Ri Yi realised that she was his Jing Mei.

Of course he know because he was really pretending that he lost his memory.  In fact he was not really hit by a car as proven by Chun Xi when he presented a CCTV footage.

Long Ri Yi had to go to France for ten days and made Jing Mei promised not to talk to boys.  He tasked Youyou and moju to look after JIng Mei.

Jing Mei had been the object of jealousy among her classmates again and put forward to represent the class in the marathon.

During the marathon, one of the girls messes with the signage and Jingmei got lost.

Episode 18

Poor Jing Mei hurt her ankle and got hopelessly lost.  Thank goodness Long Hai Yi persevered in looking for her.

Meanwhile Long Ri Yi found out that Jing Mei is missing.  He jumped into the next available plane to get back to Jing Mei.

But it did not end happy for any of them as Long Ri Yi got jealous when he say Long Hai Yi carrying Jing Mei to safety.

Jing Mei asked Long Ri Yi to apologise to his brother but he stubbornly declined.

Episode 19

The school was on a way day when something terrible happened.
