Christmas Gifts & Other Indulgence

Went Christmas shopping today with Stacey, James and little Nathan in the city. Went to Selfridges to see Father Cstmas for Nathan. We went at 3:00pm but it was fully booked until about 6:00pm. As we did not want to disappoint Nathan who was looking forward to speaking to Father Christmas regarding his Christmas list.

Anyway whilst waiting, we did a bit of shopping. I saw this offer from Estee Lauder and can’t resist getting it for myself for Christmas. LOL I had it gift wrapped and now under the Christmas tree. The make-up kit comprises of lipstick, eye-make up and blusher but what really sold it for me was the Michael Kors make-up bag. I love it. I also bought the same offer last Christmas, the make up bag was Coach. I still have it and use it as a purse sometimes.

For Her – Narciso Rodrigues Scent

I was reading my Glamour magazine at my desk at work when I found this perfumed flap with a sample of Narciso Rodriguez scent called For Her.

I love it instantly. It is so me. It reminds me of old days, of innocence, purity, of summer, of bathing in a warm lake, of flowery dresses, nice breeze, warm embrace, of clear sky, ripening palays, birds singing…..  It is so evocative – nostalgic.. classy in the way that Chanel No 5 is.  It has that elegant and clean smell.

OMG, I thought all of the above for just snipping For Her. I WANT THIS FOR CHRISTMAS!!!

REVIEW & RECOMMENDATION

If you are going to give me a gift for Christmas –

I want this!   I love the shape of it and also it did look so solid and sturdy when I saw it at John Lewis.  Really, really pretty.  Would be so lovely in the garden during a summer party.

This is made of glass. It is recommended that it is handwashed with a mild detergent.

I really like this for Christmas. Just the business for the New Year.

I can just imagine all the punch drink I can make and serve, both alcoholic and just fruity.  I can see myself making loads of sangria.  Also orange fruit juice with all the fresh fruity bits on it.
