  • 12 October 2019:  Sharon confirmed that she will be semi-retiring from show business which has been her world for four decades.  She is not completely leaving because she will still be making movies and doing concerts but only when she feels like it.  I bet she will semi-retire in the States.
  • August 2019: Sharon received the first Icon award from Viva films.  Sharon starred in the first Viva film production called PS I Love You.
  • Her name Sharon had become an eponym for a person who is so fond of requesting a doggie bag from her host at parties.  Sharon does not actually mind this eponym, in fact, she is quite proud of it. Sharon did not become a billionaire for nothing.🤣🤣🤣.
  • 6 August 2023:  Apparently Sharon is the richest celebrity in the Philippines having accumulated more than P2.7 billion over the years.  She invested heavily in properties.

Sharon Cuneta is one of the Philippines’ best, spanning decades of mega-stardom as a singer, product endorser, reality tv judge, television host, and multi-awarded actress.

There was once a time when she dominated the Philippine television shows and the cinemas with her blockbuster movies, concerts, and shoes.

She is so honest that sometimes I feel that what she says or how she says things must rankle with current and previous relationships and their current spouses.

I bought a cd by Sharon a few years ago.  Though the dedication is extensive there was also something about her husband, how nice and supportive he is, though he’s not one that rocks her boat.  I had a laugh reading it and I wished then that I was a fly on the wall when Kiko read the dedication.  Obviously, he was fine with it as they are still together with four siblings together including KC.
