An ex-cop went back to the force as an undercover cop to investigate the death of a good friend which happened five years ago.
He then fell in love with a coffee shop owner which upset a boy with one-sided love for the coffee shop owner. The boy dies and he became a suspect.
Episode 1
I love him Lin Gengxin. I still remember him clearly from Princess Agents.
Anyway, this first episode has so much going on it.
Yan Jin is a businessman who had been recruited to go back to being a cop to work as an undercover and infiltrate the Beauty Group which is involved in drug trafficking.
This happened a year ago.
Ji Xiao Ou was being interrogated by the police how and what she knew of Zhan Yu and Yan Jin.
Xiao Ou said that she first met Zhan Yu on a bus. He looked so kind and innocent that she was drawn to him. Then he fainted and she had to take him to the hospital.
She paid the fee because all he had was a few notes and a smashed mobile phone. She felt pity for him and told him that she will be back the next day to visit him.
When she got there the next morning, he was no longer there. She thought she will never going to see him again.
As to Yan Jin, they met in a club. Her flatmate, who is a bit of a thief, is a flight attendant who took her to the club to meet some guys as it was Valentine’s Day.
At the club, the gregarious Fang Niya got herself a man immediately while Yan Jin was bored.
She went to the toilet, which was unisex. She was removing much of her makeup when she noticed a man retching into the sink next to her.
He was very handsome and knew it too well and warned her that she was not his type.
After a cursory look, she ignored him.
But he got interested when he saw she was pretty but wearing such a minuscule dress. He tried to lift her dress but she slapped him so hard it partly sobered him up.
Then the drug police came as there was a tip-off that a drug dealer was in the club.
Yan Jin immediately went into one of the cubicles and flushed the drug that Liu Wei secretly put in his pocket and called the police.
Liu Wei was a gangster who works for Ms. Mei of the Beauty Group. He was jealous of Yan Jin’s success with Ms Mei.
Anyway, Yan Jin went back to Ms. Mei’s party and he got so drunk, Liu Wei ended up carrying him into a hotel room.
Liu Wei would have killed him if one of Ms. Mei’s men was not there.
Anyway, when Yan Jin woke up he was tucked up in bed wearing a bathrobe. He was very disorientated.
They someone came out of the bathroom. It was Zhan Yu wearing a bathrobe.
Zhan Yu implied that they had fun that night and he had photos to prove it, showing his photo to Yan Jin. Zhan Yu said for 10K he will erase the photos.
Yan Jin grabbed a knife and put it on Zhan Yu’s neck.
Zhan Yu promised to erase the photos. He showed his mobile to Yan Jin who saw that the photos were gone. For added measure, Yan Jin smashed the phone.
Yan Jin got dressed and left hurriedly. Then he realised he was missing his lighter, the one item that was left to him by his friend, Er zi.
He went back to the hotel but the lighter was gone and so was Zhan Yu who works as a violinist at the hotel.
He asked his police friend to find Zhan Yu for him.
Zhan Yu was traced and Yan Jin stalked him and found him dealing drugs in a club.
Very interesting first episode. Kenny Lin is gorgeous and so was Cass Gai.
The action all started at the manor of Prince Rui, who happens to be General Pei Zhang.
Assassins had invaded the manor to search for the fabled Dayuntuya.
The Dayuntuya used to be owned by the Royal Family but it was given to General Pei Zhang because he made himself indispensable to the royal family.
Whoever possesses the Dayuntuna will have ultimate power and riches as it is the key to the divine treasure.
The arrival of Jinyuwei Guards saved the general and his son.
The JInyuwei guards were Long Yao, the high rank, and Li Yu the low rank.
Anyway, they were just leaving as they had done their duty when Li Yu realised that he was missing his notebook and had to go back to search for it.
Li Yu overheard the general and his son talking about the Dayintuya. The General said that it had been stolen nine years ago and does not know where it ended up with.
This was massive news. The loss of the Dayuntuya is really major.
Li Yu saw his chance for riches. He blackmailed the General for 1000 taels of silver,
Li Yu ended up dead and his body was found by a constable. He was Shi Jing Yao. He appears to be brilliant in forensic science and he can they the size fo the arrowhead as well as the trajectory of it.
But he let himself down when he announced his conclusion that he was 100 percent sure that the man is dead. The men groaned as everyone can see that they were dealing with a dead body.
They found out that the victim was a member of the JInyiwei guard; with careful searching, of the undergrowth, JingYao had a suspect in mind.
It was the son of General Pei Zhang.
General Pei Zhang appealed to Jing Yao that he had only one son. He said for Jing Yao to look the other way and he would give him a better job or even a thousand tael of silver.
Jing Yao pondered and said 10,000 taels should do it.
Then Long Yao of the Jinyiwei Royal Guard turned up to investigate the murder of Li Yu.

Episode 1
For a period of time, the Jin and Yang Kingdoms have a balance of power. One is good, the other is bad.
The King of Yang is more ambitious and wanted to unify the two kingdoms into one where he will be lording it. With this in mind, he started a war.
Chu Kui, the King of Yang defeated the King of Jin who retreated into the North.
Those who were left behind were ordered to be killed by the King of Yang if they refused to show allegiance towards him.
There was a pregnant woman who became a victim of this massacre.
Ten years later…
The price of wolf meat is like gold so despite the legendary story of a monster wolf in Wolf Hunt Mountain, a father and son peasant went to that very mountain to hunt for wolves.
It did not end well, they saw the wolf monster.
The son reported the presence of the wolf monster to Ma Jun, the son of the City Master of Kuizhou who was away at war. Ma Jun was standing in for his father.
Ma Jun, however, was not bothered and tend to sweep everything under the carpet and this was what he was intending to do until his half-sister, Ma Zhai Xing intervened.
She told her brother that he had to go into the Wolf Hunt Mountain to investigate, otherwise their father would not be very happy. She further added that once they had ascertained the story of the peasant boy regarding the wolves, they had to close the mountain for everyone for health and safety.
Ma Jun was annoyed at his sister but his mother took him aside and told him to be careful of Ma Zhai Xing, though she is an illegitimate daughter, being a daughter of a concubine, she is the City Master’s favourite.
Ma Jun took a posse of guards into the Wolf Hunt Mountain and before long they were surrounded by ferocious wolves.
Ma Jun hurt his leg when he fell into a trap. He ordered his army to help him up and close off the mountain.
Not far from them was a fit boy, a young Tarzan with gorgeous abs, complete with a fantastical set of white gleaming set of teeth any dentist would be proud to credit himself as his best work. LOL. I wonder what he uses as toothpaste in the mountain?!!! LOL
Young Tarzan was playing with the cutest wolf cub.
He then heard a voice from the top of a tree and the next thing that happened was a beautiful girl falling into his waiting arms.
The girl was, of course, Ma Zhai Xing. It turned out that she purposely incited her brother to go into the mountains, she then used ecstasy incense to make her brother and soldiers to hallucinate and see angry wolves, thereby Ma Jun would close off the mountain and no one then would bother Young Tarzan.
Ma Zhai Xing had known Young Tarzan for a year. She first found him when she was looking for herbs. He was at first wary of her but then he fell into her arms and found him running a fever.
She stayed and nursed him until he was better. And from then on they had become best buddies, though he actually behaved more like a pet.
She started introducing him to society. She took him to the market where he created a bit of mayhem but fortunately the vendors he encountered were kind people.
Her father came back with an esteemed visitor who is the sworn brother of the Emperor.
He was Lieutenant Xia Hou Yi, who had no vestige of humanity in him.
Not knowing this, Ma Zhai Xing interrupted rather rudely during her father’s meeting with the Lieutenant.
Her father scolded her immediately and punished with a house arrest.
Later on, her father came to see her and explained that the Lieutenant was as nasty as you can get.
And he was. He ordered Wang Xiang, the housekeeper of Ma Manor to go to the wolf hunt mountain to catch a wolf for its meat and blood as these supposed to fully cure rheumatoid arthritis which Xia Hou Yi suffers from. He said that when he is cured, then and only then would he forget how Ma Zhai Xing insulted him, otherwise he was going to write to his sworn brother the emperor about Ma Zhai Xing’s insults.
With not much choice, the loyal Wang Xiang went into the mountain and caught the cute wolf.
Ma Zhai Xing and Young Tarzan were once again in the market when the carriage carrying Wang Xiang with the cub passed by.
Young Tarzan is endowed with excellent hearing and a sense of smell. He immediately knew that a wolf had been caught and in the carriage that just passed.
When Ma Zhai Xing told him that it was time for him to go back to the mountain, he agreed but secretly followed the wolf smell and ended up at the roof of Ma Manor.
I love this drama already. It somehow reminds me of Joy of Life. It has the same vibrancy. And Darren Wang is innocently adorable in this first episode. He has a very catching smile as well with very noticeable white even teeth.
Li Qin as Ma Zhai Xing looks much younger than Wan’er in Joy of Life. She is also very wholesome.
Episode 2
When Young Tarzan got to the manor, he heard the yelping of the cub. Young Tarzan went immediately went to look. He grabbed the cub away from Xia Hou Yi and left through the window. He was immediately seen by the City Master who raced to the room to see the commotion.
They then found Xia Hou Yi dead and suspected that the Wolf Monster (Young Tarzan) was the killer.
As Xia Hou Yi was a sworn brother of the Emperor, it was catastrophic for the City Master as it happened in his manor.
He started a hunt for the Wolf Monster.
Ma Zhai Xing knew Young Tarzan must leave otherwise he will be hunted and killed.
She went to see him and make him leave. I was rather taken aback when I suddenly teared up when lovely Young Tarzan was being insulted and malign by Ma Zhai Xing to make him leave. Lovely sad scene.
She threw the wolf tooth pendant that she gave him into the lake and told him to go because if he stays she will be involved in the murder case and he was cramping her style. To make her point, she threw a stone on his head, making his forehead bleed.
She turned her back and told him to go. She was very upset when he was gone.
The Emperor came to Kuizhou and immediately asked what happened. They all said that Wolf Monster was the culprit. But Ma Zhai Xing once again interrupted and said that someone working at the mansion was the actual murderer. To narrow it down, the person knew about herbal medicine because Xia Hou Yi was actually poisoned.
All of a sudden, good loyal Wang Xiang confessed that it was him because he hated the guts of Xia Hou Yi and all of the Mas. They were all instrumental in the massacre of the Li Family.
The Emperor was fairly satisfied with the investigation.
Meanwhile, City Master ordered Ma Zhai Xing to look for Young Tarzan before her brother and the soldiers found him.
Episode 3
Ma Jun and his soldiers found Young Tarzan by using Ma Zhai Xing resonance ball. They got him and bound in steal chains and Ma Jun was about to execute him when the wolves came bounding in.
The soldiers, however, were fully armed and no time the wolves were taken off one by one, including cute cub wolf and Big Momma Wolf which broke Young Tarzan’s heart. He was so heartbroken, it gave him extra strength to use his chains as a weapon against the soldiers.
Then he saw Ma Jun riding his horse to escape and he went after him until they ended up on a cliff top. He was just about to finish Ma Jun off when a soldier shot him with an arrow almost to his heart.
Ma Zhai Xing just saw him injured and falling down the cliff. She tried to rescue him but Ma Jun kicked her so hard, he broke her leg.
Then, there was a big revelation between Wang Xiang and the City Master. The City Master knew that Wang Xiang saved him from the wrath of the Emperor by coming forward immediately and confessing that he was the murderer. The City Master wanted to know why?
Wang Xiang said that he knew that the City Master saved Princess Xai Xing and her baby during the massacre at the Li Mansion. He witnessed the City Master helping the Princess to escape.
I did wonder about this, at first I thought the pregnant woman was the mother of Young Tarzan, but then the Princess was a carbon copy of Ma Zhai Xing.
So where did Young Tarzan come from?
Ma Zhai Xing was so worried about Young Tarzan. She wanted her father to go searching for him immediately but her father said she and the whole Ma Manor will be in danger of displeasing the Emperor, who is currently staying with them.
Anyway, the Emperor did say that he will have soldiers look for Young Tarzan in the morning.
And he found him and had him cured. The Emperor told everybody to keep having found Young Tarzan a secret. He will train him as his walking, fighting weapon of mass destruction.
Eight years later.
Young Tarzan was fostered by the Emporer and he had become a royal by the name of Zhu Youwen.
Zhu Youwen was a different man. He is hard and unemotional. He is brutal.
Meanwhile, Ma Zhai Xing was preparing to get married but she told her maid not to bother with the preparation because she was going to break the engagement.
Her maid was aghast. Breaking an engagement would mean Ma Zhai Xing will become a spinster.
Ma Zhai Xing said that was the idea. She does not want to get married ever.
Unfortunately, Ma Zhai Xing was more popular than she thought. Eligible bachelors are still knocking at her door to try their luck.
Episode 4
After so many years Ma Zhai Xing still pines and hoping to meet Young Tarzan.
And she had her wish come true in a very traumatic way.
Young Tarzan who is now Zhu Youwen, also know as King Bo had come back to Kuizhou City with the order of the Emperor to assassinate the newly retired General Ma Ying, father of Ma Zhai Xing.
Ma Zhai Xing and Youwen were practically feet apart in the market town but they never came face to face.
Ma Zhai Xing was with her father looking at the screen painting of her mother when he was telling her that her mother was a true blue blood when they heard the commotion outside.
They were assassins ordered by the Emperor to carry out the total annihilation of the Ma Family and household. The Emperor sent extra assassins because he knew that Youwen has a kind heart and might let some of the people live.
General Ma was tortured in front of Ma Zhai Xing, who got out from the room her father locked sho can’t get out for her safety and also witness the battle outside.
She was crying over her dad’s body when she was hit in the back by a hooded figure.
Next thing, she was being cared for by Youwen’s man.
Meanwhile, Youwen’s other minions propped General Ma against a wall. The minions wrote something on the ground using General Ma’s bloody finger. The message was the attacker was Jin.
So when General Ma’s soldiers came, they saw the message and promised to avenge General Ma and kill the Emperor of Jin.
Episode 5
Ma Zhai Xing was like a zombie. She was awake but not quite there.
Wen Yan was concerned that Ma Zhai Xing was not eating or drinking. He said that the only thing that could cure her being catatonic was the cypress blossom. But this herb is only available in the Wolf Hunt Mountain.
The fighting scene of Prince Wolf, as Youwen now wanted to be called, with a couple of gigantic CGI tigers was rather spectacular.
When he got back, he found Ma Zhai Xing had a visitor. He said that he is a childhood friend of Ma Zhai Xing, he is Prince Tongzhou.
Anyway, they left them alone; when they returned Ma Zhai Xing and Prince Tongzhou were gone.
Prince Tongzhou had kidnapped Ma Zhai Xing and preparing to abuse her but Prince Wolf turned up and threw him away from the catatonic Ma Zhai Xing.
Prince Wolf fought Prince Tongzhou but he saw a couple of guards spiriting Ma Zhai Xing away. He went after them but alas he got stabbed in the back by Prince Tongzhou.
This did not stop him though. He became more ferocious from his adrenalin rush.
Then, he made a cry which seemed to have woke up Ma Zhai Xing because she ran towards him, her Wolfie.
Though he let her hug him at first, he pushed her away saying that he is Prince Wolf, not Wolfie.
Ma Zhai Xing was shocked that he was not Wolfie, she told him that he looked so much like him.
Meanwhile, the Ma soldiers are more cunning than expected. They did not believe readily that the Emperor of Jin plotted and assassinated General Ma Ying.
They went to the Capital to here from the Emperor Chu Kui himself that the Emperor of Jin is responsible for the total annihilation of everyone at Ma Mansion.
Episode 6
The Ma Soldiers were ready to attack the palace of Emperor Chu Kui but Ma Zhai Xing arrived astride a horse with Prince Bo. She was just in time to stop the massacre on both sides.
The Ma Soldiers honours Ma Zhai Xing as their princess, the heir to General Ma Ying,
Ma Zhai Xing showed them that Emperor of Jin had really ordered her kidnapping as well as the massacre at the Ma Manor. She showed them Prince Tongzhou’s letter and tiger stamp as proof.
The Ma Soldiers trusted her implicitly and as such they pledge their allegiance to Emperor Chu Kui when they heard from the Princess that his son, Prince Bo saved her many times including from Prince Tongzhou.
Emperor Chu Kui gathered the nobility, including the high ranking member of the Ma soldiers for a bit of a shindig. He then announced that Prince Bo should marry Ma Zhai Xing.
Prince Bo was reluctant and said that there are so much to do, so many uprisings to quell and he would not have time to devote to a new wife.
Ma Zhai Xing agreed to marry Prince Bo but only after they had made Emperor of Jin pays for all his misdeeds.
Ma Zhai Xing got drunk and was escorted by Prince Bo on her way to her lodging but she started hallucinating that Prince Bo was her Wolfie. She then started ranting at him telling him that they were impossible together. How can a human and an animal have a future together?
Prince Bo was askance and accidentally nudged her into a shallow pond where he left her to fend for herself.

Episode 7
There’s a rumour in the principality that Second Prince is not the king’s on. Apparently, the king was attracted to a very pretty courtesan, who happens to be in love with the chef of Boshuan Army. The courtesan got pregnant and gave birth prematurely. It was believed the baby was not sired by the Emperor.
Some Boshouan slaves have been rounded up by the Emperor’s soldiers. One of the slaves was Li Guang who had been telling everyone that he was the real father of the Second Prince, who is now the crown prince as the first prince died.
Anyway, LI Guang managed to get away and ended up in the Capital where he was found and rescued by Ma Zhai Xing on her way to the Bo Mansion as the engaged, soon to be the wife of Prince Bo.
Ma Zhai Xing commanded that the beggar is carried into her carriage. She said that they need to up the ante on the anti-social refutation of Bo Manor.
Prince Bo was not happy to learn that she was behaving as Lady Bountiful when they were not even married yet. He told her that they will have a contract marriage.
They will appear as if they get on in public but in private she must keep away from him.
The Second Prince came to visit Prince Bo with his pregnant wife.
The wife wanted to befriend Ma Zhai Xing which the Second Prince encouraged.
The Princess went to look for Ma Zhai Xing who was with the beggar.
The beggar got so excited when he saw the wife of the Second Prince. He declared that he was from Boxhou and that he was in the Capital to look for his benefactor who happens to be the Second Prince.
Episode 8
The Second Prince and his wife stayed for lunch at the Bo Manor. Li Guang volunteered to make the dinner as the Princess Consort said that her husband was missing the Boshun food especially the chicken soup as his mother used to cook.
The Second Prince enjoyed the soup and was excited that it tasted the same as what his mother used to make. There and then, he hired LI Guang to be his chef at his manor.
Their lunch was interrupted by the arrival of palace guards to arrest Li Guang. He was blamed for being an assassin.
Prince Bo and Ma Zhai Xing also got into trouble for bringing a criminal into their manor.
The Second Prince was told by the Prime Minister, who was his father-in-law that the beggar Li Guang had been spreading rumours that he’s the Second Prince’s real father.
The Second Prince and the Prime Minister went to see Li Guang in prison.
Li Guang willingly put his thump print on a confession/suicide note as he was doing it for the Second Prince.
Meanwhile, Prince Bo and Ma Zhai Xing were summoned by the Emperor.
The were both punished. Prince Bo will not received any stipend for a year. While Ma Zhai Xing was told to kneel in front of the ancestral altar for three days and three night.
Ma Jing went to find Prince Bo to beg him to help Ma Zhai Xing because she can’t be kneeling for a long period of time because of her previous injury, a broken leg given to her by her brother, Ma Jun.
The truth from eight years ago came out. Ma Zhai Xing told Young Tarzan/Wolfie to go for his own good. As he refused to leave, she used strong hurtful words which hurt her more.
Ma Jun stole the resonance ball from Ma Zhai Xing.
Prince Bo remembered bits and pieces of the young Ma Zhai Xing and realised that her final ‘betrayal’ was really out of character.
So he went to rescue Ma Zhai Xing and fighting the palace guards to get to her.
He was in tenterhooks waiting for Wen Yu’s diagnosis of Ma Zhai Xing. He was told that the bones were not affected. All she needed was a lot of R&R, rest and relaxation.
Meanwhile, he went to the palace as he had been called by the Emperor. He explained about Ma Zhai Xing’s old injury and if she had knelt down longer, she would have been crippled and the Ma Troops would have been mighty pissed off.
Prince Bo also told the Emperor why the Second Prince and the Prime Minister hurried to get rid of Li Guang.
The Emperor said that he is the father of second Prince because he was there in Boshun the whole time with his consort, the mother of the second prince.
The Second Prince and the Prime Minister sought an audience with the Emperor.
The Emperor gave them a harsh punishment. All of the Second Prince duties will now be given to Prince Bo, the third prince and the Prime Minister was stripped of his position.
Episode 9
Prince Bo suddenly became attentive and caring towards Ma Zhai Xing to the point that he invited her to his once out of bounds quarters.
When she got there it was like a fairyland with fireflies lighting the surrounding.
Prince Bo told her to forget Wolfie. He would not want her to be sad and stagnating on her life.
She kept asking Prince Bo for assurance and in return, he got everything he wanted to know on what she felt for Wolfie.
They had a bit to drink and she woke up she found that she was cozily cradled in his arms. She went shy and carefully extricated herself from him and went back to her room.
Hei De came to get her later to watch Pricne Bo do his morning routine martial art sparring with Ma Xiao.
Prince Bo then told Ma Zhai Xing to learn martial art herself.
She was only too enthusiastic to comply. He taught her how to used the bow and arrow and their audience noticed how the practice had turned into an idol drama. 🙂
Prince Bo also arranged for the palace doctor to examine her leg. The doctor said that it had been a long time for it to be reset or cured but he can give her herbs as pain killer.
Prince Bo told Ma Zhai Xing that the world is so vast and there should be a doctor that could cure her and he will look for him.
Episode 10
Princess Bao Na of Qitan came visiting in view of making a match with Prince Bo, who she had been in love with for the past few years.
The arrival of Princess Bao Na was a bit of a headache for Prince Bo and his manor as she is a bit of a handful. She is totally spoiled and walked all over people.
At first, Prince Bo was not satisfied that he could not announce that he was already engaged to Ma Zhai Xing but she convinced him to bear with her the Princess as they could not afford to upset the King of Qitan as they need him to lend them the Qitan soldiers.
At first, Ma Zhai Xing was ok with Prince Bo entertaining Princess Bao Na but she thought that they were getting close she started to get jealous.
Episode 11
Apparently, it is in this episode that Xiao Zhan as Ji Chong will appear.
Princess Bao Na found out that Prince Bo was already taken. He’s engaged to Ma Zhai Xing.
In a fit of anger, Princess Bao Na burned the treaty document between Qitan and the Yang Empire.
Meanwhile, a gorgeous bounty hunter had been making loads of money through ransom by bringing the most wanted criminals to the constabulary.
He was like Robin Hood, the money he makes, he buys foods and toys for the children in a little village. Somehow the people, women, would take the stuff but they are very ungrateful to Ji Chong. No one would look at him, speak to him and even nod a quick little thank you.
But there was an elderly woman who told him to give them time!
Episode12
Ma Zhai Xing was hurt purposely by Princess Bao Na.
This made Prince Bo lose any vestige of patience with Bao Na after she burned the treaty as well.
Princess Bao Na was so annoyed she told her entourage to leave the palace.
What she did not know was that the Second Prince had arranged for her to get kidnapped. He hired Ji Chong.
Ji Chong and his band of bandits killed all of Bao Nao’s entourage and took her away with them.
This got to the leader of Qitan who went complaining to the Emperor.
The Qotan leader said that it was Prince Bo’s fault that Bao Na was kidnapped. She was disrespected by Prince Bo by returning a carefully prepared present back to Bao Na without even opening it thus he did not see the treaty wich was inside the package.
The Emperor had no choice but to imprison Prince Bo.
Ma Zhai Xing got to hear of this and went to the Emperor to beg him to allow her to take an army to rescue Princess Bao Na but she needed to speak with Prince Bo first because he did make a reconnaissance of the place where Bao Na as kidnapped.
Prince Bo was furious that she would endanger herself for him.
MaZhai Xing told him that she was ready to die with him but she would rather live with him. Ahhhh
Anyway, Ma Zhai Xing set off to find the princess and they were helped by a wolf who gave them the location of the kidnappers.
When they got there, they had just left except for gorgeous Ji Chong who remained to see if his business with the second Prince is still viable.
Anyway, he heard the Ma Zhai Xing used deductive reasoning to puzzle out why and who was responsible for the kidnapping.
She said that there was a traitor among them who knew the whereabouts of the Princess.
The number one suspect was the second prince.
Ji Chong then revealed himself rather by rescuing Princess Ma. He also told them where Bao Na was taken.
Bao Na was so ungrateful when she was finally found. She was complaining that they took their time looking for her.
She would have been stabbed by Princess Ma stood in front of her and was waiting for the slash of the sword but it never came because JI Chong shot the man.
Ahhh
Episode 13
Ji Chong and Princess Ma have a lot of chemistry and a romance between would be so cute. Xiao Zhan really made Ji Chong so sexy and earthy. Wow
But then enters Darren Wang as Prince Bo, with his half sneer/half-smirk, you think he is as sexy as hell as well. So Princess Ma is a lucky girl whoever she ended up with.
Though she flirted with Ji Chong, her heart belongs to Prince Bo.
Anyway, she was so grateful to Ji Chong for having saved her again. He got an IOU from her and then he disappeared.
He ended up at the Second Prince’s mansion. Ji Chong told him that Princess Bao Na had been saved and the culprit will be apprehended soon. Ji Chong mentioned that he knew the Second Prince was the mastermind of the kidnapping but Ji Chong could help him for a price.
Without much choice, the 2nd Prince agreed.
JI Chong said that the 2nd Prince had to have a strong stomach because he needed to send a scapegoat to the Golden Mountain Temple. The one who turns up will be deemed the culprit.
The Bo soldiers were waiting at the temple when the Prime Minister turned up. So the 2nd Prince sacrifice his own father in law.
The King was still suspicious of the 2nd Prince so as per advice by Ji Chong, he took poison for his guilt to appeal to the better nature of everybody including his grieving pregnant wife.
The Bo Manor is celebrating and Prince Bo and Ma Zhai Xing are loved up. They even tied a red ribbon between them so they will be together forever as the superstition says.
But Prince Bo had a chance of heart because of the guilt he felt. He knew who killed Ma Ying. It was not the King of Jin but it was Chu Kui.
Episode 14
Prince Bo is so conflicted. He wanted to confess who he really was to Ma Zhi Qing but he kept having nightmares with scenarios of the possible outcome of being truthful.
So he started pushing her away to protect her from Chu Kui.
Prince Bo and Princess Ma went to her old house, Kuizhou Mansion.
Ji Chong turned up along the way. He had been paid by the Second Prince to assassinate Prince Bo. He was happy to see that Ma Zhai Qing and Prince Bo are not getting along.
Ji Chong encouraged Ma Zhai Xing to give a dance performance of the Princess Dance during the evening’s soiree. He was thinking that Prince Bo would be so destructed, Ji Chong could carry out his dastardly plan without being noticed.
During the dance, Prince Bo was really destructed, not because he loved the dancing but he was worrying more about the damaged leg of the Princess.
Episode 15
Poor Ma Zhai Xing was absolutely humiliated when Prince Bo told her that she had ruin the dance as well as his mood. He also encouraged the three suitors who were turned down by Ma Zhai Xing to embarrass to the limit.
She was heartbroken.
But as soon as she left, Prince Bo dealt with the three suitors.
When Prince Bo found Ma Zhai Xing still patiently waiting for him in his room, he then tried to force her to sleep with him but she cried. Somehow this made Prince Bo stopped and told her that she was no fun.
Ma Zhai Xing said that she was so shocked because they are not married yet but if he really wanted to consummate their relationship then she is willing.
He told her that he liked a real woman, not an unattractive woman like her. He told her that if the Emperor did not mandate his wedding to him, he would have not chosen her.
A courtesan then was said to have turned up.
Ji Chong turned up with candied hawhaw for her but found her gone.
Prince Bo found her feverish in the Wolf Mountain. He tended to her but in the morning, it was Ji Chong she saw when she woke up.
Ji Chong asked her why she loves Prince Bo, who does not give a shit about her?
When she returned to the camp, she found Prince Bo contemplating a letter from Princess Bao Na to meet up at Fuhu forest.
He asked Ma Zhai Xing if the writing on the letter matched that of Princess Bao Na.
She agreed that it matches.
She then told him that she realised that she was carrying a one-sided love to him and it has got tiring. She said then that if he wanted her to leave, then she will leave, She will obey everything he asks her including having a loveless marriage but had to pretend to be in love when in public. But from now on she will not bother him.
Prince Bo was gutted as he saw her leave his tent.
Outside, he met Ji Chong who gave him his notice. He said that he can’t work for someone who treats a princess in the most abhorrent manner, especially Princess Ma. He then said that he had travelled the world and had met many women but never as kind and pure as Princess Ma.
Episode 16
Ji Chong said that Princess Ma is the only woman he respects and he would protect her always.
Prince Bo went to Fuyu Forest where he was ambushed.
Ma Zhai Xing went to look for Ji Chong but saw Princess Bao Na instead who knew nothing about the letter sent to Prince Bo asking to meet up.
They went to Fuyu Forest and sure enough, saw that Prince Bo was surrounded. The two girls helped but Princess Ma was shot in the chest.
Ji Chong turned up and was aggrieved to see that his plot could cause the Princess to be near death. He told Prince Bo to take Princess Ma to the doctor, while he sort the assassins out.
Ji Chong ran and was surrounded by the assassins. It was then revealed that the assassins were from Jin and that they recognised Ji Chong as their young Marshall of Jin.
Princess Ma was basically dead as she stopped breathing.
Princess Bao Na remembered the pill she always carries, it cures everything.
The pill was duly given to Princess Ma and within seconds.
Prince Bo was worried about her but she woke up and told everyone to go except for Ji Chong.
She told him about Wolfie, how he died because of her and she had carried the guilt ever since.
Ji Chong asked Princess Ma if he could be the second Wolf Boy.
Prince Bo overheard them and was so very sad.
Meanwhile, in the Palace, the Second Prince was going mental because of the failed assassination.
The Princess Consort went to comfort him but he pushed her away rather too hard and she miscarried their baby.
Prince Bo had officially received the treaty document with Qitan.
Episode 17
An annoying Fourth Brother came back from Qitan.
He was so upset to find out from the letter to of the Emperor summoning Prince Bo to the place because the person masterminded his assassination was the Second Brother.
The Second Brother was severely punished which upset Fourth Brother who complained to the King that he favours Prince Bo, his illegitimate son over his real ones.
Episode 18
Prince Bo was trying to win a jade butterfly for her when Ji Chong turned up as well and challenged Prince Bo with the arrow shooting hoofs.
Ji Chong won in the end because he used his sword which broke but got his point.
Meanwhile, Prince Bo was too attached to his sword he decided not to even try the final round.
This episode also had that fantastical scene where some of the netizens were up in uproar because it breaks the law of physics or gravity. This scene was when Mo Zhai Xing dropped her fragrance pouch which was picked up by Prince Bo. He would not return it to her instead it let it float in the air and it floated higher and higher and farther and farther, yet there was not much wind in the vicinity because the leaves on a vine hardly moved. Then the pouch returned to Prince Bo’s hand.
Ma Zhai Xing then realised that he was her Tarzan Boy, who can hear and see the wind.
But just to confirm, she went to the cliff when Tarzan Boy fell to his ‘death’. She asked Ji Chong if he could survive a fall from the cliff.
He said it is possible if you are a wolf.
She was only 90% convince of her theory, she wanted more evidence, so she asked Ji Chong to arrange for her to meet the Fourth Prince, who showed her the family album photos. LOL
It was revealed why the Fourth Prince had no love for the Third Brother. He blamed him for being a coward for running away rather than saving the gorgeous First Prince, Lord Bin.
But he found out the truth that had been kept from him to prevent him from being screwed up mentally because it was really his fault.
The thoughtless Fourth Brother ran into the front line which meant death for him if he was not rescued.
The First Prince sent Third Brother to the rescue while First Brother battled with the enemy from inside and outside forces. His lieutenant betrayed him to the enemy and also poisoned him. He knew he was dying so he gave his much-beloved Dragon Tooth sword to Third Brother.
He then sent Third Brother on his way to rescue the Fourth Prince while he cut off the hanging bridge after Third Brother got to the other side.
Third Brother was impotent with rage and grief as he watched First Brother battle to his death with the enemy.
Third Brother and Fouth Brother made up in front of the grave of the First Prince.
Third Brother then received a message from Ma Zhai Xing that she was by the clifftop
Episode 19
Ma Zhai Xing was at the clifftop where Young Tarzan supposed to have fallen to his death.
Ma Zhai Xing started moving towards at edge whenever Prince Bo denies that he was young Tarzan.
Without much choice, Ma Zhai Xing got ready to fall down. As she did closely followed by Prince Bo.
Ji Chong saw them and he knew he could never be the one in Ma Zhai Xing’s heart.
Finally, Prince Bo admitted that he was Young Tarzan. He said that the Emperor had him rescued from the cliff and then took him to the palace dungeon when he saw people who are odd.
The Emperor then had them all trained as super soldiers and then sent to the army border patrol. Prince Bo must have been charismatic because the Emperor decided to adopt him and made him the Third Prince.
Ma Zhai Xing and Prince Bo were so loved up all night long.
Ji Chong told them that he had no place in the Capital anymore so he will leave and roam free.
Meanwhile, at the Bo Mansion, the Emperor made an impromptu visit and found out that Prince Bo had gone awol. He then noticed the stick puppet of the wolf boy and Xing’er.
The Emperor was annoyed that he had been made a fool of.
The night soldiers tried to say that Ma Zhi Xing did not know Prince Bo is one and the same as young Tarzan.
Episode 20
One thing Prince Bo asked of Ma Zhi Xing was to keep it hush that he was the wolf Boy.
She readily agreed to keep mum but it did not last because as soon as someone asked who she was with, she said it was the Wolf Boy.
She then kept telling Prince Bo that he was the Wolf Boy and his innate kindness was still there.
She can see that he was not comfortable being called the wolf boy anymore but she just wouldn’t give it a rest.
He told her that if he was with her, he can be the wolf boy but at court he is Prince Bo.
But she was not having this.
The Emperor was so upset that Prince Bo had deceived him. Prince Bo was economical with the truth that he and Ma Zhai Xing were childhood sweethearts.
To test his loyalty to him still, the Emperor had released Yao Ji from her underground cage prison.
Yao JI is a beautiful woman but was one of the oddities that the Emperor trained, just like Prince Bo.
Prince Bo was ordered by the Emperor to go back to Ma Zhi Xing’s hometown to kill the father and daughter who ran the inn because they were spreading rumours that Prince Bo and his band of Night Fury were serial killers.
Episode 21
The Emperor tested Prince Bo once again by having Yao Ji treat Ma Zhi Xing’s legs.
Prince Bo can’t trust Yao Ji because they trained together and when Prince Bo defeated her to become the leader of Night Fury, Yao Ji was a sour loser and tried to assassinate Prince Bo.
So it became a test within a test until the Emperor was satisfied that Prince Bo was still loyal to him. However, he does not trust Prince Bo completely.
Prince Bo and the Night Fury went back to Kuizhou to kill the father and daughter who owns the inn. They set the inn on fire which pleased the emperor.
Episode 22
Yao Ji had taken over the Grand Diviner Palace and paid a visit to the Bo Manor.
I must say Ma Zhai Xing is not coming as naive or innocent but rather stupid.
She should have known that Prince Bo had a murky past after all he already told her that he was more or less trained as a killer by the Emperor.
And yet everything he finds out something which is rather brutal, she goes petulant.
Prince Bo actually did not have the father and daughter killed.
Yao Ji found out about this and was miffed that he deceived her.
Yao Ji has a hidden agenda. This involved making the sulky Ma Zhai Xing understand that though Prince Bo can be barbaric, he is not quite out and out evil.
She took Ma Zhai Xing to Duan Mansion where she saw an ailing old woman who was Lord Duan’s mother.
Lord Duan was arrested and then beheaded by Prince Bo but he made sure that Mrs Duan was cared for.
Yao Ji left Ma Zhai Xing at the mansion. Ma Zhai Xing found a letter from Lord Duan and immediately went to the Emperor to lodge a petition to reopen the investigation about her father.
She said that her father found out about the second prince with the aid of the Prime Minister was planning to assassinate him.
The emperor was upset with Ma Zhai Xing.
Meanwhile, Prince Bo could not find Ma Zhai Xing so he went looking for her at Grand Diviner Palace; he saw a woman with a sack over her head sitting next to Yao Ji.
He started feeling unwell, Yao Ji said it was from the Wolfbound flower (whatever) which she knew he was most allergic to.
Prince Bo begged her to give Ma Zhai Xing back to him and he will do whatever she asked.
She said she wanted him to return to his old Prince Bo persona.
He agreed. when he took off the sack from the woman’s head, he found that it was not Ma Zhai Xing but a dead Hong’er, the daughter of the innkeeper.
Surely, Prince Bo should have smelled the scent of death immediately because Honger must be dead for a day or two.
Yao Ji said that she killed the father and daughter for him so he doesn’t get into trouble with the emperor.
Episode 23
Seriously Ma Zhai Xing is such a liabilty.
She went to the Emperor and accused the Second Prince to be the one behind the murder of her father.
The Emperor was so annoyed, he threw her in prison.
Poor Prince Bo could not do anything despite knowing that it was all Yao Ji’s doing.
Yao Ji was blackmailing him that he did not kill Hong’er and her father as ordered by the Emperor. And he was abetted by the Night Fury for concealing their crime. This would mean Night Fury will be disbanded.
The stress made Prince Bo have an attack brought on by the Wolfbane flower courtesy of Yao JI.
Wen Yan could not take how Prince Bo was suffering so he went to the Emperor and revealed that it was him. Prince Bo ordered the death of Honger and her father but Wen Yan can’t do it.
But they are now being blackmailed by Yao JI.
He also said that Yao Ji was the one who manipulated Ma Zhai Xing into believing that her father was killed by the Second Prince.
The Emperor was so annoyed with Yao JI that he had her arrested and then told to convinced Ma Zhai Xing that Yao Ji used her to create problems for Prince Bo because she had not forgiven him for defeating her previously.
Episode 24
Ma Zhai Xing was released and pardoned by the Emperor.
She went back to Bo Mansion to find Prince Bo comatose.
She kept a vigil until he woke up.
Episode 25
Prince Bo was summoned by a vengeful and humiliated emperor. He wanted revenge for the insult done to him by the immature Ma Zhai Xing.
The Emperor ordered Prince Bo to lead a mission to massacre the Ma Troop.
He cannot really turn it down so he tried to make the bimbo Ma Zhai Xing to toughen up for the Ma Troop. But she was not having it.
She had to rely to her wolfie.
At last, Ji Chong found out that the Jins had nothing to do with the murder of Ma Ying. It was in fact ordered by Chu Kui.
Prince Bo started training Ma Zhai Xing about battle tactics, including him being the enemy. He said not to trust the enemy because if they meet in battle there will be no Wolfie, only Price Bo who will kill every Ma Troop and her in a heartbeat.
Airhead Ma Zhai Xing would not take him seriously at first but he was serious and even put a sword against her neck.
But she was much too in love, thought she took into consideration what he said, she still believes that they would never meet up in battle and if they did he would always protect her.
Thus she was going to reward him with a night of passion.
Darren Wang is particularly handsome in this episode because he was overruling all her stupid ideas.
Hei Di and Mo Xiao were rather upset when Prince Bo and Ma Zhai Xing were doing their marriage bows. Prince Bo told her to leave the bows when they could truly be together. The passion was also postponed.
He is such a good boyfriend. He does not want to hate herself and her stupidity when she finds out the truth.
And the truth of the massacre at Ma Mansion had been revealed by Ji Chong to General Ma.
Ji Chong showed him that the seal they got was from a deceased General Shen of Jin Troop.
They all knew that General Shen died a year ago and therefore how can he order a massacre with his seal when he was already dead. Ji Chong showed them that the seal the Ma held was the personal seal of General Ma.
They concluded that Prince Bo had been romancing the airhead Ma Zhai Xing so he could affiliate with the Ma Troop before he annihilates them.
Exciting.
Episode 26
General Ma Feng Cheng got so stressed by the news that they had been affliating with the killers of General Ma Ying that he convulsed and threw up blood and keeled over and died.
Ma Zhai Xing took her time leaving the Bo Manor. She was then secretly poisoned at a restaurant they stopped by ordered of Yao Ji.
Ma Jing reunited with her but Prince Bo turned up to arrest them and brought them back to the palace prison.
Ma Zhai Xing took time to believe that Prince Bo was a tool of the emperor who killed her father.
In prison, Prince Bo was still secretly looking after her and even tried to feed her the antidote for the poison but she smashed the soup bowl not knowing that she had been poisoned and that the antidote was being made available for her!
The Ma Troop and Ji Chong were trying to come up with a plan to save her from the much-guarded prison.
Ji Chong said that it was impossible to rescue her from prison so they had to plan for the Emperor to bring her in the open.
It so happens that the Fourth Prince with is troop is traveling back to the Capital.
This episode is so heart-rending, I shed a few tears.
Episode 27
I defining emotion I have watched this episode is that Ma Zhai Xing really needed a good slapping.
Stupid woman, Prince Bo killed your father and clan in your manor.
But no, she said she loves Wolfie, it was Prince Bo who killed her father and clan.
Prince Bo told her that it was her clan who drove him to the cliff and she herself said he was part animal and was not good enough for him.
Anyway, it was only when Prince Bo burnt their memento including the puppet of Wolfie and Xinger that she finally accepted that Wolfie is dead.
Meanwhile, Ji Chong kidnapped the Fourth Prince and arranged to exchange him for Ma Zhai Xing and Ma Jin.
The exchange was done.
Prince Bo was a bit upset
It was revealed that Ji Chong is the Second Prince of Jin, who was a renowned military man.
Episode 28
The Fourth Prince interrogated his father. He wanted to know if he was behind the massacre at the Ma Manor?
The Emperor was incensed with rage and instructed the Fourth Prince to be put under house arrest.
Zhai Xing, the Ma Troop and the Jins have reached the Jin Municipality.
Upon seeing a warrior wolf, Zhai Xing went after it without any fear or concern with the others following her.
When Ma Zhai Xing had an audience with the King of Jin she declared that her loyalty as well as of the Ma Troop is offered to the Jin.
The King though declined saying that the way she was acting, rather brainless but full of bravado would only endanger herself, her troop as well as the Jin Troop.
He told her to learn the Art of War, calm down and get better physically. Revenge is sweet but in its good time.
Zhai Xing did realise that the King was right.
So she practised archery with the bow given to her by Prince Bo.
Her fingers were bleeding and then she saw the gorgeous, newly washed Prince Xuan Yu Jao.
Episode 29
Ma Zhai Xing found out that there is a princess living in isolation in Tanxing Garden who was a survivor of the massacre ordered by Chu Kui a long time ago.
The Princess was Princess Ping Ning or something.
The elusive princess would not listen to her at first but Zhai Xing showed her the cypress vine flower she said her mother liked.
The Princess looked at Zhai Xing for the first time and said that she looks so much like her friend.
Zhai Xing said that her mother was a commoner and the Princess could not possibly know her.
Anyway, she begged the Princess to go with her and see the elite Ma Troops in training.
When they got there, Zhai Xing was embarrassed because they looked undisciplined and unhealthy.
This made Zhai Xing turned into a virago and started shouting her orders for everybody to train. The men were unhealthy because they were getting over being poisoned. But this did not matter to Zhai Xing who was getting more hysterical by the minutes.
The King of Jin turned up because he found out the kidnapping of the Princess. He was aghast at how Zhai Xing was abusing her troop. He told them to stop by Ma Zhai Xing told the king to piss off.
He was so shocked he left.
The men were collapsing from the heat, overtraining and being physically unwell until Ji Chong turned up holding the Ma seal to overrule Ma Zhai Xing.
Zhai Xing went absolutely mental that Ji Chong had the seal.
Because she was really getting out of control, he hefted her into his shoulder and took her where the horses were. He then dunked her into their horse’s trough which was full of water to calm her down.
He told her that because she was obsessed with her hatred of Prince Bo, she sees everyone as enemies including her troop.
He then explained that the seal was given to him to protect her.
He then reminded her that the seal is not a tool for revenge but for courage given to her by her father.
Episode 30
Ma Zhai Xing went to see the King of Jin to apologise and to ask for a second chance.
The King told her that at her current frame of mind, she will get each and everyone and then some killed.
She does not have the right attitude to command a toad much else a troop.
The King said that the only man that could command men and win battles was Prince Bo because he had a killer instinct. He is not governed by schmaltzy sentimentality.
But the King is willing to give her a special change. She has to sabotage the treaty between Qitan and Yang Kingdom. To do that she had to attend the installation of the new King of Qitan.
Zhai Xing went with Ji Chong and her Ma group.
They met Princess at the outskirts of the Qitan Kingdom. They were disturbed by a warrior wolf which Ji Chong shot.
Zhai Xing was tasked by Ji Chong to finish off the wolf as a test.
As the King of Jin had said, Zhai Xing lets her heart do the thinking because instead of killing the warrior wolf (which probably kill a few Ma Troop in the final battle) she tended to it lovingly.
At the grand tent of the King of Qitan, Zhai ing had her confrontation with Prince Bo.

Episode 34
The generals and the King of Jin put Ma Zhai Xing to the test which is about rescuing JI Chong from his arrest by the King of Jin.
Ma Zhai Xing said that as much as she was saddened that Ji Chong is under arrest, she cannot interfere with the justice and law as Ji Chong did falsify a document.
They decided that Ma Zhai Xing is a suitable supreme commander of all the Jin military troops and its affiliates.
Ma Zhai Xing and the King of Jin were talking about Ji Chong which he overheard. He realised that his father, the king, deeply loved and sympathised with him. He knew that Ji Chong had a wild streak and does not what for him to be changed by the constrictive royal and military life.
Meanwhile, Yao Ji was beginning to think that she can’t treat Prince Bo who has gone completely feral.
Episode 35
Ji Chong and the King reconciled after Ji Chong apologised to him.
The King tasked him to lead a major troop which rather upset his older brother. He was not feeling the love from his father.
The King advice him to go for Ma Zhai Xing because they knew he has got the hots for her.
Ji Chong said that romance is the last thing in Zhai Xing’s mind.
The King said that love is like the art of war. You have to be thorough and confident.
So with the aid of alcohol, Ji Chong went to see Zhai Xing and did the idol drama of walling. He trapped her against the wall and his arms and gave her a kiss.
Ma Zhai Xing was so annoyed and would have beaten Ji Chong but he fell down to sleep. It seemed during the course of the evening he woke up and agreed and signed terms asked by Zhai Xing that he will take her traveling.
She did look at him and found him not bad. Not bad at all.
Meanwhile, Prince Bo is back with a vengeance. He is meaner and badder.
Ma Zhai Xing had been training in martial art under the tutelage of Ji Chong.
Episode 36
It is the battle of Boxiang.
Prince Bo agreed to give Ma Zhai Xing two days to make a decision whether to surrender and he would not go near her ever again or go to war and he will concentrate on killing every single one of the Ma Troop.
Two days later, Ma Zhai Xing was ready for him. She is not surrendering but she had the wolfbane flowers on fire around their camp balcony.
Episode 37
It is the battle of Boxiang.
Ji Chong was tasked to assassinate Chu Kui while Ma Zhai Xing dealt with Prince Bo.
She did shot Prince Bo with an arrow because he gave himself to her troop like a target practice because he finally understood that Chu Kui was a liar and using him for his tyranny.
He accepts that he caused too much pain and heartache for Zhai Xing so he was paying her with his life.
But he is not only part wolf but actually a cat with nine lives, despite the arrows that got him, he remained alive and even saved Zhai Xing after she stabbed him and fainted.
Zhai Xing was badly wounded because a soldier dragged her with his horse as a chain was wrapped around her neck.
He brought her to a medicine monk. The monk could see that he was in a more serious condition but Prince Bo insisted that he treated her first.
He then said that he will return her to Jin.
Meanwhile, Chu Kui got away because Ji Chong abandoned his mission after he heard that Prince Bo kidnapped Zhai Xing.
Episode 38
The wolfbane in Prince Bo’s blood was beginning to take effect. He turned feral but told Zhai Xing to run away from him.
She run but immediately stopped to look at Prince Bo who was struggling but before she knew it his hands was around her neck.
She reached out and touched his face and tenderly called him her wolf boy.
He let her go.
The next day, they started the perilous journey of the Qi Mountain to get to Jin sooner.
I am not sure if this episode is supposed to be sad but I ended up really tearful during the scene between Prince Bo and Ji Chong.
Ji Chong knew the truth how much Prince Bo loves Zhai Xing and that he has really nothing to do with the massacre.
For some reason, Prince Bo would not tell Zhai Xing the truth and had a man to man talk with Ji Chong asking him not to tell Zhai Xing what Ji Chong found out.
Prince Bo said that there were only two who love Zhai Xing the most, him and Ji Chong, so he will leave Zhai Xing with him and to protect her always.
Prince Bo was going to return to Yang and would likely to be executed.
Ji Chong told him that there are other choices.
But Prince Bo is determined to meet death.
Episode 39
Prince Bo contacted Yao Ji and told her that he was resigned to his execution. He wanted her thought to look after his fourth brother and the Night Fury.
Yao Ji had a different idea. She would not let Prince Bo die if she can help it.
Meanwhile, Ji Chong brought back Zhai Xing to Jin amidst controversy that her love affair with Prince Bo had been re-ignited.
She became the subject of gossip. Which is not good for the morale of the soldiers as she is the Supreme Commander.
Ji Chong said to quash all the gossips they will hold a wedding.
Ji Chong got rather worried because he did not ask Zhai Xing if she would agree to a wedding before he blurted it out.
Zhai Xing though saw the logic of it and tried to comfort a nervous-looking Ji Chong.
Episode 40
Awww, Ji Chong was heartbroken when he saw that Zhai Xing thinks of her marriage with Ji Chong as a duty and responsibility rather than a love match.
Ji Chong was absolutely gutted during the wedding because he found out that almost at the same time, Prince Bo is being executed.
He is a very decent man, he had to reveal the latest on Prince Bo before they get married so she can change her mind if she wanted to.
She did not, she said Prince Bo is the past. She wanted to get married to Ji Chong.
Poor Ji Chong broke my heart. He was so sad during his wedding night. He does not know whether to make a toast to his wedding or send off the dead Prince Bo.
But a spy came with a message that Prince Bo is alive and his punishment was downgraded from death to slavery for life. So he might as well be dead.
Episode 41
It was the wedding night.
Ma Zhai Xing was prepared to consummate the wedding night with Ji Chong. Who wouldn’t?!!!
But Ji Chong said that when she truly loves him then they can give in to passion.
Meanwhile, Yao Ji was doing everything to help Prince Bo who seemed to have given up on life.
The nasty Second Prince is now in command of the Yang soldiers and he was tasked to escort Prince Bo to Qiannu Battalion for slave labour.
Ji Chong brought the idea of saving Prince Bo from the camp and persuade him to join forces with them.
Zhai Xing overheard the conversation of the generals. She told them that she was against the idea. Prince Bo is pure evil, she said.
But the King of Jin said that he supports Ji Chong’s idea. Saving Prince Bo and being able to get him to their side would mean benevolence and bloodless war.
Ji Chong will do the mission. Zhai Xing said she will go with him because she wanted to judge that Prince Bo is worth saving.
The Generals were worried for the two because Qinnue Battalion is known for its brutal regime.
Prince Bo is transported to Qiannu Batallion.
The relationship between Zhai Xing and Ji Chong is not totally loveless. She does like to drape herself on him. She can’t be blamed. He is gorgeous.
But Prince Bo has the sex appeal.
Episode 42
Zha Xing and Ji Chong went to rescue Prince Bo but he was not interested. He told her to go away.
She left him a fire signal is she wanted to change his mind. They will wait for him for three days.
They saw how inhumane the prisoners were being treated and they were all turning against Prince Bo because a rumour was being spread that Prince Bo has mind control to his warrior wolves who had been attacking innocent people.
Episode 43
Prince Bo finally took some action when a boy, Liu Er was put into brutal prison for telling the truth about the plotting of the Second Prince.
Prince Bo convinced the inmate to create a riot to save Liu Er. he told them that they have a sanctuary at Jin as Prince Chuan of Jin is about and ready to help.
It was a successful escape from the supposed to be impenetrable Qiunna Battalion.
Yao Ji got to hear about the plot and told her assistant to pulled back their men and let JI Chong and Zhai Xing rescue Prince Bo.
She has a very unconditional love for Prince Bo. Awww
Episode 44
Poor Ji Chong, he is not getting the love from Zhai Xing. She was obsessed in helping the convicts and Prince Bo and turned down an offer of intimate dinner for two from Ji Chong.
Ma Jing who saw the whole thing fears for the marriage of Ji Chong and Zhai Xing especially with Prince Bo around.
Chu Kui is ailing but he wanted to mark his authority and wage war.
Ji Chong was a little jealous because Zhai Xing and Prince Bo seemed to share many knowledge and experiences but being a nice guy he wanted to tell Zhai Xing the truth about Prince Bo being innocent of her family’s murder but Prince Bo interrupted them.
Yao Ji continues to help Prince Bo and he asked her why is she still helping him.
She said because he is her only one…
He waited for the rest of what she was going to say.
She can see that he was not ready for a love relationship so she told him that he was her only family.
This rather heartwarming.

The OST of this drama is amazing. Good selection.
The Second Prince blackmailed the head eunuch of Chu Kui to poison him.
Chu Kui allowed for Prince Bo to save the Night Fury during a prayer ritual where they are the human sacrifice.
Poor Wen Yan died by Mo Xiao and Hei Dei were rescued.
Ma Zhai Xing went stupid again. Seeing that the Second Prince with his soldiers was on the prowl so she made sure they saw her and get her surrounded.
Prince Bo rescued her and got shot by an arrow. They would have been finished off if Ji Chong did not turn up.
It was Princess Bao Na who saved them all.
Seeing that his wife is stupidly in love with Prince so he said he will divorce her because marriage to him is like seeing her in a cage.
Ji Chong finally told her the truth that Prince Bo had nothing to do with her family’s death.
He said that she should stay with Prince Bo.
To be fair, she did want to stay with him but he told her that he will always protect her and be at her side but just as her friend.
What a guy. Unconditional love.
Episode 46
Zhai Xing immediately went to Prince Bo and told him that she was getting a divorce and would like to look after him forever.
At first, he allowed her to hold his hands but then he told her to piss off back to her husband. LOL
Princess Bao Na found a sad-looking JI Chong but at a closer look she saw that he was looking at magazines of beauties.
Yao Ji found Prince Bo in pain from his blood turning black. She was enraged at him for not telling her that he was ill.
he was dying that is why he turned down Zhai Xing.
Yao Ji told Zhai Xing that it was her fault that Prince Bo has only 6 months to live.
Apparently, Chu Kui rescued him from the cliff but started feeding Prince Bo with deadly drugs that lied dormant in his system but when he got shot saving Zhai Xing from the second prince, it activated his disease.
Yao Ji begged Zhai Xing to stay with Prince Bo for the remaining months of his life.
Zhai Xing told Prince Bo that she wanted to live simply with him. Wash clothes together, eat dinner they cooked together.
Then he found out that she does not actually know how to cook.
Episode 47
Aww Prince Bo and Zhai Xing are spending every moment together.
He tied a red thread on their fingers. He said that will love her thought-out his life but when the time comes, she must not be stubborn and close her heart to anyone else.
She got very upset and told him that she will only love him.
The Second Prince staged a coup and declared himself the new king after killing his father.
Prince Bo with the Jins wanted to attack to save Fourth Brother.
Princess Bao Na enlisted in Ji Chong army because she has got the hots for him, who doesn’t?!!!
Episode 48
Yao Ji was with Zhai Xing when she collapsed.
Yao Ji saw that Zhai Xing has also the black blood. She told Zhai Xing that she was not as strong as Prince Bo to withstand her illness so she has only days to live.
I am not really sure how Zhai Xing got the black blood disease! Probably it is a sexually transmitted disease?!!!
Episode 49
Zhai Xing purposely kissed Prince Bo; she drugged her lips beforehand. 😉
Prince Bo fell into a deep sleep while Zhai Xing was confessing that she will go to the palace to negotiate for the life of the Fourth Prince. She told him feelingly that she was okay if he has other women in the future but the one thing she requests was that he must not enjoy the butterflies with them.
Again, shouldn’t Zhai Xing fall into dead sleep as well?
Prince Bo is wolfish, he would not be satisfied with just close mouth kissing or lip licking. He would have gone for a total full snog, tongue duel, and tonsil hockey. Full lip-locking. He would have sucked her head off. LOL
Anyway, fantastical as it may be, as Prince Bo was sleeping, Zhai Xing, with Yao Ji, went to Sayang.
At the gate, Yao Ji asked her to reconsider as Zhai Xing will not come out alive.
Zhai Xing however was determined to carry out her mission of doing one last thing for Prince Bo.
Yao Ji tried to go in with Zhai Xing but she was prevented to.
In the middle of the palace courtyard, the maidenly Zhai Xing metamorphosed into a true badass woman complete with demonic eyes (not red though). She was pissed to the core when the Second Prince (new king) ordered that she be killed.
Her scene was an absolute epic, I am pretty sure it would be watched again and again for her excellent acrobatics. I was really so impressed.
Prince Bo was woken up by the butterfly and quickly realised where Ma Zhai Xing had gone. He did not waste any time and followed her to Sayang.
Prince Bo faced a rain of arrows but it did not stop him from carrying on. He told the military that they were Bo soldiers.
They did realise the truth of it and gave way to him.
He was just in time to catch Zhai Xing as she was falling from being stabbed by the Second Prince. She took the sword that the second prince was aiming at the fourth prince.
Prince Bo cradled her in his arms as she was taking her last breath. He did offer to bring her to Yao Ji but she declined. What she wanted was to go back to Wolf Hunt Mountain.
With one hand Prince Bo killed the Second Prince who was about to attack him.
The sky opened up as Prince Bo wept.
Ji Chong who also came to the palace saw what had happened. He fell into his knees as he sobbed for the departed Zhai Xing.
For three days the sky unceasingly drenched anything that it could touch.
Six months later…
The Fourth Prince was hailed as the new king of Sayang but almost promptly surrender his position to the King of Jin to unite the land. Peace had returned to the land.
Meanwhile, Princess Bao Na was alone in the middle of the prairie when Ji Chong appeared. She played hard to get.
Ji Chong, thinking that she will be running after him got a surprise when she did not stop him when he pretended to leave.
He invited her to travel the world with him but he said that she had to pack lightly because they are leaving within minutes.
For some reason, she already had a bag packed.
They are so cute but totally without chemistry. I thought Bao Na would end up marrying the Fourth Prince.
Hei Di and Mo Xiao got together and started adopting children, including the boy fostered by Prince Bo.
Yao Ji had become an expert medicine woman who treats every known disease at that time.
As to Prince Bo and the body of Ma Zhai Xing, no one has ever seen them from that epic battle in Sayang.
It looked like Prince Bo lives alone with only an elusive yellow butterfly for the company at the Wolf Hunt Mountain.
I have to say, Darren Wang is so charismatic. There were so many news and article about Xiao Zhan and his surprising acting prowess in this drama but ultimately Darren is the person you most remember.
I Hope Darren does more dramas and so does Xiao Zhan of course and not forgetting the beautiful Li Qin.

Episode 1
This drama started rather dramatic when the South African airplane that Guan Yu Qing was aboard encountered volcanic debris which went to the engines and therefore it became a matter of life and death situation,
The pilot was incapacitated so thank goodness for Guan Yu Qing who is also a pitot returning back to China after two years of working for South Africa Airline,
Guan Yu Qing was calm and collected and brought the plane to safety.
If that flight was turbulent her home life was more so, Despite being away for a long period, her father treated her as if she was not even there because he favored his wastrel of a son.
During dinner, the son announced that he has some good news, He announced that he was going to get married. But he wanted his parents to give him 100,000 RMB to get his fiancee a branded diamond ring.
His parents told him that they don;t really have the money as they gave their savings to him when he opened a bar which folded. They also gave him their retirement fund for more of his business ventures.
Unfortunately, the son is beloved by the father who told Guan Yu Qing to give her brother the money.
Thank goodness, she is sane because she refused. She said that her brother chose his bride then he should be the one to fork out for the ring.
The brother left in a huff.
The father used emotional blackmail on Guan Yuqing but for now she was resisting until a estate agent came the following morning to value their house.
Meanwhile, Xu Qi Feng is a genius doctor/surgeon. He is so busy at work he does not have any social life.
His mother took if upon herself to look for a suitable wife for him. She went to a park blind date where parents of daughters were looking for a husband for their daughters.
When Qi Feng came home after a busy day at work, he found a wall of a collage of photo of women his mother deemed suitable to date.

Qi Feng and Yu Qing did not have a first impression of each other. They met in the hospital.
Yu Qing saw a woman hugging Qi Feng. The woman was crying and begging him not to treat her so badly.
Qi Feng thought he was a scumbag.
He later told her that he did not even know who the girl was. It was his mother. She had been romancing the girl on his behalf, using his mobile phone.
Yu Qing believed him after she found out more about him. He was one very popular, very competent surgeon.
Meanwhile her brother and father were putting her on the spot. They not wanted her to buy a house for the brother so he could get married. The father was using everything including his weak heart to blackmail her.
She could not wait to get away. She was flying to Shanghai when she was informed that one of the passengers will be carrying a heart for a transplant.
It was of course Qi Feng but she did not know that it was him and he did not know that she was the captain of the plane.
There was a particularly annoying passenger who complained a lot. He complained that they had to wait for the doctor, who was caught in traffic.
Unfortunately, there was a thunderstorm and they had to land in Wuxi.
Qi Feng knew it was too late. The heart will degrade and the patient would probably be dying.
But to his surprise, when he got out of the plane, there was already a rescue helicopter waiting for him and his assistant ready to take him to the hospital. It was arranged by the captain.
The transplant was a success.
Episode 3
Poor Yu Qing was so stressed. The problem regarding her family follows her everywhere. Her elder sister relied on her t pay for her surgery of her sister’s brother-in-law. Her brother was a leech and so was her father and her mother was nice enough but always sides with the father.
Then she was in trouble because a passenger complained about her.
To unwind from her troubles and worries, she went jogging but suddenly she had the most excruciting pain.
Surprise, suprise Qi Feng was jogging too. He offered to take her to the hospital but she refused instead he helped her to her hotel room where he looked after her and her stressed-induced stomach pain.
The brother of Yu Qing’s brother-in-law was of operated successfully by Qi Feng.
Episode 4
Qi Feng’s problem with his mother is getting worse. She is suffocating in her devotion to her son. She even check on his mobile phone regularly and arrange dates for him.
Yu Qing was commended for her work after the hospital profusely extended their grateful to the airline management. She later found out that the doctor on board her flight was Qi Feng.
She went to the hospital with a gift for Qi Feng.
He was surprised to find that she was the captain who arranged the rescue helicopter, thus, saved the transpalnt patient.
Dean Gao, from the hospital noticed how hardworking Qi Feng was and how talented. He took upon himself to act as some sort of surrogate father after he heard that Qi Feng is a product of a single parent family after his parents divorced.
Dean Gao thought that Qi Feng and Yu Qing were already in a relationship but having some problems, so he secretly arranged for them to go on a blind date. They were surprised to see each other but they had to stay an hour together so not to upset Dean Gao.
Qi Feng used the hour to diagnosed Yu Qing’s health. He said that being a pilot, she would have some spine problem but because she was still young and healthy, she does not feel it yet but it is there.
Despite not really knowing Qi Feng, Yu Qing was beginning to fall for him. She was so starved of affection that Qi Feng seemed the one who showed unconditional attention.

Qi Feng finally let his mother win. He agreed to date Lin Jie.
His mother found out pretty quickly that Lin Jie is pretty stubborn. She likes to get her own way. His mother seemed to have met more than her match.
Meanwhile, Dean Guo asked Yu Qing to have a word with Qi Feng regarding to transferring to a smaller hospital where he could never realised his dream of opening a heart centre.
Qi Feng said he had made up his mind. He is moving.
I really love this drama. So many characters you love to love and also hate to hate. LOL
By the way, what is going on with Zheng He Hui Zi. I hardly recognise her, she looks like a different girl.
Episode 10
The battle between the mother and the girlfriend is heating up. Mother found out that Li JIe is no pushover.
Li Jie is beginning to act more of a wife rather than a casual girlfriend and Mother is find it hard to let go of her most beloved son.
Poor Qi Feng is caught in the middle. But he was rather jealous of Sun Xiao Bai, Yu Qing’s handsome and young co-pilot, He seemed to see them everywhere and it was giving him food for thought.
He reevaluated his decision to leave the hospital after finding out that his parents’ divorce was borne out of a long-standing misunderstanding.
Apparently Dean Guo saved and treated a woman who tried to commit suicide. The woman became obsessised with Dean Guo and tried to separate him from his wife. The woman put Dean Guo into a compromising situation and then told that she was pregnant.
The headstrong wife did not give the dean a chance to explain. She divorce him bitterly and prevented him from ever seeing their son.
But the Dean continued to only have her in his heart. He never got married and hopeful that he could be reunited with his wife one day.
As to Yu Qing’s parents. She overheard her father continuing to pine of his no-good of a son.
You can see a mile off that Chen Zhi Jun will end up having an affair with his new PA, who is a slapper and over familiar. LOL

Dean Guo continues to encourage Yu Qing to go for his son.
When Yu Qing to ask him to visit her father who she suspected has a heart condition as he uses as an excuse every time her father does not get his own way.
When Dean Guo turned up, he had Qi Feng in tow.
It was found that her father has a normal heart condition and blood pressure.
Meanwhile blood pressure is up and rising at Qi Feng’s apartment.
Li Jie and the Mother were having a huge disagreement. The mother said that she supported Qi Feng and Li Jie’s relationship and found that in a mother of days, Li Jie has changed.
Li Jie told the mother that she was sick. The mother was so annoyed she told Li Jie to go and leave the apartment key on the table otherwise she will call the police.
On her way out, Li Jie saw Yu Qing and Qing Feng arriving together.
Yu Qing explained that Qing Feng had gone to examine her father.
Anyway, Qing Feng and Li Jie had a talk in the restaurant, where Li Jie said that his mother had turned on her.
When he got back to the apartment his mother had prepared his dinner which he refused to eat.
He went to his bedroom. When he came out fairly late, he found his mother in the living room in almost darkness looking at his photos on her mobile phone.
She said that his auntie had photos of holidays and other things on her mobile but she has only his photos on her phone.
Qing Feng started laughing hysterically. He said that he will break up with Li Jie. This always happens. Every time he gets a girlfriend his mother interferes and breaks them up.
His mother told him that all the girls were not good enough for him. She had been through a divorce and she does not want him to end like her.
Qing Feng said she will have him all to herself. He was never going to leave her, he was never going to get married.
He then left the apartment while his mother cried her eyes out saying that she wanted to be a good mother to him.
He slept outside in the garden.
Episode 12
Father Guan ended up in the hospital with heart attack because he got too upset when he went back to his old house and found the new in-laws selling it.
He said he gave the house to his son to live while they move out but the in-laws moved in.
Father Guan said that he was not having it but the in-laws said that the relationship between Shen Lei and Li Bei is over.
Shen Lei begged his in-laws kneeling down.
Father Guan told him to get up but he said without Li Bei, he might as well be dead.
Father Guan said he had always wanted to give the house to Shen Lei so have it.
Father Guan and his wife are now homeless because when Guan Yu Yun brought them to her house, Zhi Jun sneakily took his staff to their house to move in as well. The staff included the flirty, slutty Xiao Xiao, who terminated the call from Yu Yun to Zhi Jun.
Qing Feng was looking after Father Gu.

This episode shows the initiating forces that would lead to an affair between Zhi Jun and his conniving PA.
Despite finding out that his father had a heart attack, Guan Zhen Lei can’t help but make himself look the hard done by in their family.
The father immediately sided with him.
Episode 14
Zhu Lei was still at it. Now he brought with him his in-laws to visit his father in the hospital. Zhu Lei told his done that he has no prospect but he had thought of a could-be lucrative job about online-booking driving.
His father said that sounds like a good idea but asked when would Zhulei get a car.
Zhu Lei immediately said that he could use Yu Qing’s car as she hardly ever used it being on a flight after another.
The father agreed.
Poor Yu Qing was being manipulated to agree. When she at first declined, Zhu Lei pushed her which was seen by the father but did not scold his son.
Yu Qing felt unwanted and unimportant in her family. She is just a pure and simple cash cow as far as they were all concerned.
She was so upset she walked in the rain and when she got home, she found that she had left her keys in the hospital.
She was preparing to rest by her apartment door when Qing Feng turned up and insisted on looking after her.
He gave her a set of his pyjamas to wear for the night as her clothes are wet.
The next morning, they were disturbed by the arrival of a very shocked mother of Qing Feng.
She said that she does not approve of Yu Qing because she had been planted by her ex-husband.
They tried to explain things to her but she already had her preconceived ideas.

Episode 21
Auntie Xiu Lan has been creating problem with Yu Qing. Auntie boldly went to Yu Qing work to interrogate her junior, Xiao Bai, on their nature of their relationship.
Xiao Bai called Father Guan about this embarrassing situation.
Father Guan rightfully went to confront Auntie Xiu Lan, who does not see anything wrong with what she has done.
Episode 22
Auntie Xiu Lan was creating havoc in her son’s relationship with Yu Qing.
Zhi Jun got found out that he was doing the dirty on his wife when Yu Yan took her father, mother and Auntie Xiu Lan to the Thai restaurant Zhi Jun said they had invested in. Yu Yan found out from the owner that he does not know anything about the investment.
They were just walking out of the restaurant which was inside a shopping centre when Father Guan saw Zhi Jun being intimate with a woman who then kissed him.
Yu Yan saw it too and wanted to leave and ignore it but Father Guan was having none of it and confronted Zhi Jun right there in the shop. Father Guan gave Zhi Jun a smack when Zhi Jun was still denying that it was a misunderstanding.
Zhi Jun ended up in the hospital with a concussion.
After seeing that Zhi Jun was being looked after, he dragged Yu Yan to return home.
The next day, they went to Zhi Jun who has to stay in the hospital for a few days.
Father Guan had a man to man talk with Zhi Jun on how he will proceed with what he has done. How is he going to make it up to Yu Yan.
Zhi Jun said that he wanted a divorce.
Being married to Yu Yan is party being married to her family. And this is sucking out the life out of him. He cannot breathe anymore with them. His self-esteem has completely gone being a part of their family because no matter how he does well in his job, he was always seen as a lowly province boy.
Xu Nan Nan has a new victim in sight. She saw the very able doctor, Qing Feng.
Episode 23
Nan Nan set the wheels in motion by going to Auntie Xui Lan’s work place to apply as a volunteer.
Auntie Xui Lan immediately said no as her morality is questionable.
Meanwhile, as a last ditch, Father Guan went to the hospital to begged Zhi Jun to reconsider the divorce.
Zhi Jun said that he had made up his mind and he was not going to change it. He added that he has no feelings for Yu Yan for a number of years.
Father Guan bowed his head very low in front of Zhi Jun, he cast away all his pride but Zhi Jun was not moved despite hearing Father Guan crying his guts out.
Zhi Jun called Nan Nan to see him at the hospital but she said she was much too busy as she was with her father.
They did meet after he was released from the hospital. He told her that he will negotiate a divorce with his wife. He will give Yu Yan their house because of their child but he has a good job so before long he can buy a house for Nan Nan and him.
Nan Nan played innocent and clueless. She told Zhi Jun that he had misunderstood the nature of their relationship. She had always saw him only as an older brother, never romantic.
She then quickly left. He knew he had been had.
Episode 24
Nan Nan did not waste anytime. She immediately went to Auntie Xui Lan to play the victim.
She told the gullible auntie that she never had an affair with Zhi Jun. It was all on his side and in fact, she is a victim of sexual harassment at work.
She wanted Auntie to help her lodge a case against Zhi Jun but she does not have any money.
Auntie wanted to know where her money was going to.
Nan Nan had auntie eating out of her hand when she applied her piece d’ resistance. She brought auntie to her father hospital bedside and played the dutiful, filial daughter that had Auntie crying in pity.

Yi Qing had something wrong with her eyes. She needed an operation immediately otherwise she will go blind or not be able to fly again.
She was nervous but she wanted to get it over and done with. Initially, she did not want her family to know but Xiao Bai told them anyway to they were there except her brother who had developed a bromance with his father-in-law.
I think Xiao Bai will end up with Yu Yao.
Anyway, the operation was a success and Qing Feng nursed her back to health afterwards.
Auntie finally told Qing Feng about the perfect girl for him.
Qing Feng said that he had found the girl for him and he was already thinking of marriage with Yi Qing.
Auntie went absolutely ballistic, so hateful that you wanted to be able to reach her and give her a resounding slap. LOL
Auntie started introducing Nan Nan to neighbours as his son’s girlfriend. Nan Nan was so happy despite not having officially met Qing Feng.
Yu Qing heard Auntie saying it so she confronted Auntie.

Episode 30
Qing Feng was missing. He was lost in the desert in a sand storm with one of his patients who he was trying to bring to the city for immediate treatment.
Yu Qing went to see Lan Xiao Xiao to find out about the soup. She told him that when Qing Feng came to see Xiao Xiao, he found out that she fed her father who was supposed to be nil by mouth pre-surgery. The soup she gave him was with ginseng that could increase blood flow. So she killed her father.
Yu Qing told her that Qing Feng realised that but he did not say anything because he did not want her burdened., He’d rather lose his job than do that. He is a very kind stupid man.
Xiao Xiao felt the guilt so she contacted the hospital to take back her complaint.
At the same time, the investigative team found out about the ingredients to the soup and totally cleared Qing Feng of any wrong-doing.,
Meanwhile, the spoilt immature Zhen Lei landed his father in law in the hospital because his nest egg was gone after they invested all the money, including from the sale of the car that Bei Bei had bought Zhen Lei.
Episode 31
Yu Qing flew a small plane to look for him in the desert. Of course, they found him. They both returned to China.
Meanwhile Bei Bei had had enough of Zhen Lei get-rich-quick mentality and asked for a divorce.
Zhen Lei said that her sister had finally transferred the house to him so they could just mortgage the house to give to the father in law.
But for now, it is over between them.
Episode 32
Father Gu is the worst father ever. He can obviously see that useless Shu Lei was out of control and yet he blamed Yu Qing for inciting her brother, completely ignoring the fact that her head is soaking wet and smelt of beer.
Bei Bei doesn’t like to have anything to do with Shu Lei anymore and Shulei was overdramatizing to get everyone’s attention.
He was also unhappy that Yu Qing will register her marriage while he was getting a divorce. He thought that that was uncalled for.
Episode 33
This is all about nasty Shu Lei and the aftermath of his divorce. His father could not do enough for him and even warned Yu Qing not to incite her brother, giving credence that everything that is going wrong in her brother’s life was ultimately her fault. Her mother does not help at all. Her parasite family was a cross for her to bear.
I would not mind if the brother kills himself followed by the father who has a heart attack because of grief? Or why not the brother drives his mother and father and crashes into a cliff. LOL
Zhi Jun was heading to being jobless as he can’t get the client to sign the contract. Served him right. His poor ex-wife had to sell her Hermes bag and diamond necklace so he could give the money to what he thought was his sure-thing girlfriend. Karma!

Episode 38 & 39
These two episodes are about the cute romance of Dr Guo and Xuilan. Their trying to get to know one another again.
Dr Guo at first was about to leave as he had returned from the hospital but Qifeng asked him to stay.
He concurred immediately.
His mission was to get back with the love of his life, Xiulan, mother of Qifeng.
He was being helped by Father Guan who enrolled to a senior studies about arts, cooking and dancing.
Xiulan was beginning to thaw with Dr Guo but he mentioned that the woman who was the cause of their misunderstanding was returning from abroad.
Guan Shulei helped a collapsed victim of a hit-and-run. The victim’s family thought that he was the driver and started abusing and being violent towards him.
His mum and dad then turned up and told him to take responsibility.
When he denied it, they told him that he should be ashamed for still trying to lie.
No one believes him.
Episode 40-41
These two episodes is about trying to find redemption.
Father Guan tried to make up with YuQing but she had had enough.
Despite this, Qing Feng could see that she was missing her father.
Qing Feng contacted YuQing’s mother and they had lunch in a restaurant. The mother told Qing Feng that YuQing misunderstood her father when he chose ShuLei to be saved rather Yu Qing.
The mother said that the father chose Thunder Boa because he was in a more critical state.
But at this time, Father Guan stayed with YuQing and gave her 600cc of his own blood which is very taxing for a 60 years old man.
Well, they YuQing paid very dearly for that blood. 1.5M RBM in her parents’ account, 3K monthly stipend, a house, a car, payment for all the fines for Boa and so much more.
Finally, ShunLei started to grow up. Qing Feng is instrumental in making Shunlei to mature. He recommended him to become a paramedic. When Shunlei was giving up because it was hard work, Qing Feng told him that he can do what he wants but the four days that he worked, he saved 17 lives.
This seemed like a wake-up call for Qing Feng.

Qing Feng and YuQing had registered their marriage.
Gao JiangZhen and Xuilin had also registered theirs.
Meanwhile, Shulei got a shock when they receive a call for an ambulance at Li Bei’s apartment. When he got there, Li Bei in the couch, in pain and heavily pregnant.
The family made him believe that the baby was not his so he went drinking and felt so sorry for himself.
He called his sister YuQing to tell her the good news.
He told her of his sad luck, about Li Bei having a baby with someone else.
Yu Qing told him that his news does not make her happy, in fact it was making her sad. She gave him an awkward hug.
When Xi Xi’s parents died, she was fostered by Duan Senior and became a sister to Duan Ran. They were as close as real siblings.
Duan Ran had just returned from the UK from studying Business and Finance. He is a chaebol, heir to a big business specializing in e-commerce.
He was surprised to find that Xi Xi had become quite a popular live streamer.
She was now working for RuiLive selling clothes of all types via live streams ala QVC.
RuiLive is 80 percent owned Duan’s company after it was rescued by Duan Senior when it was ailing and owned wholly by Chen Lang.
One day, Duan Ran came to pick up Xi Xi from her work and rather arrogantly sat on the chair of Chen Lang.
Chen Lang did not take kindly to this and started applying his dastardly plan to take back Rui Live from the Duan corp.
He did this by taking all the live streamers, other than Xi Xi, the staff, and the clothes to a pseudo-holiday in order to sabotage an airing of RuiLive. If RuiLive fails to air, it would be fined heavily.
So it was a race against time to find where Chen Lang took the broadcasters and the clothes.
Xi Xi and Duan Ran finally tracked them to Sanya.
Chen Lang was blackmailing via negotiation Duan Senior, who was very forgiving.
He told Chen Lang that he was willing to give him 49 percent share of RuiLive if he goes on with the streaming.
Chen Lang refused because he wanted his company back and he had already found a backer.
Meanwhile, against all odds, Xi Xi managed to get new clothes to sell by going to every clothing shop in Sanya to buy merchandise.
The streamers were convinced to return and they had a very profitable on-location streaming.
Yuan Yuan was the number one streamer but she had decided to retire because her dream was really to become an actress.
After the show, Chen Lang managed to get all the current streamers to sign a contract with him and new company called CloudLive.
With RuiLive in tatters, Duan Senior and the board decided to shut down business on it but Xi Xi had other ideas.
Backed by Duan Ran, they continued to run RuiLive and going as far as back to back with CloudLive.
At the moment there was no sign of romance between Xi Xi and Duan Ran. They are comfortable as brothers and sisters.
Episode 9
CloudLive won against RuiLive because the backers of CloudLive sent someone to cause a power outage at RuiLive during their live streaming.
CloudLiive got the Pineapple contract but Ruilive so impressed the CEO of Pineapple, he gave them the skirt contract.
It was the day when the CEO for RuiLive is going to be announced.
Everyone expected Duan Ran to get the appointment but Xi Xi got it.
Duan Ran was fuming.
Xixi held her first CEO meeting and gave her staff their office job titles and duties.
Duan Ran asked her what would be his role. She told him that he is going to be her intern.
Episode 10
Ruilive is strapped for cash. So Xixi agreed with the treasurer to rent 50sqm of space to a funeral company.
Duan Ran was annoyed but he can’t really do anything.
Seriously, he is stupid. With his background and money from dad, why not create his own company?
Anyway, in the end he was the one who found the money for RuiLive but he was still humiliated by Xixi for his enthusiasm.
