Zheng Min Wei is a Director in a big firm. Lately, he is being nagged by his mother to get married or at least to start dating again.
Even his colleagues comment that he is not actually bad-looking and yet he had not dated for the last 6 years.

An Ran is best friends with Man Man who went drinking in a bar. Man Man got so drunk, someone called An Ran to come and collect her friend.
In the same bar was Zhen Min Wei who was surprised to see An Ran.
He assisted her to put her friend in a car. Zhen Min Wei then helped An Ran to buckle her seatbelt. She accidentally kissed him as he was in very close proximity.
That brief kiss had woken up Zhen Min Wei’s libido.
Episode 2
An Ran is pretty flirty herself. She was eating out with An Ran as part of the therapy when she noticed a morsel of food stuck on his left top lip. Instead of just telling him that he had something on his face immediately, she looked at him closely for the longest time which made Zhen Min Wei nervous. She then told about the thing on his face.
She then said to him to ignore what happened to them the previous evening.
Zhen Min Wei gave An Ran some few home truths and it seems she can give her observations but unwilling to take in comments about herself.
Nevertheless, they started meeting each other outside work.
It was the new year, An Ran went home to her parents and Zhen Min Wei did the same.
His mother once again broached to him the idea of dating. She told him that she knew a few pretty girls.
Zen MIn Wei told his mother that he had found a girl he likes.
This another interesting drama which unfortunately does not come with English subtitles yet.
We have just to wait and remember that patience is a virtue. LOL

It is well acted that you sort of get the gist of the story.

Nan Xi asked her to bring out her book but when she opened her backpack, out came the chips, more chips and more chips, drinks and other snacks.
Xia Rui forgot to bring her book.
Nan Xi shared his book with her but not long after, he found Xia Rui fast asleep. He supported her with his shoulder and that was how Cheng Er Lou and Zhao Yi Shu found them.

Nan Xi is proving himself with Zhao Yi Shu and to Cheng Er Lou especially after giving him tactics on how to win the basketball competition.
Nan Xi and Xia Rui has that very close friendship one moment and then cold the next.

Over that delicious street food on sticks, Nan Xi told Xia Rui Wo Shi Ai Ni (I am in love with you?)

Cheng Er Lou was bashfully excited when a girl modestly propelled a love letter to him. But he quickly found out that it was not for him. She was just asking him to be the messenger to deliver the letter to Nan Xi.
He was going to decline but the girl tempted him with a bagful of snacks. He agreed but then this seemed to be a go-ahead signal for the other girls to give their letters to him for Nan Xi as well.
Nan Xi social phobia became the talk of the school. Thank goodness he had already made firm friends of Cheng Er Lou, Yi Shu, and of course Xia Rui who has his back.
Xia Rui started coaching him on how to face the world. She includes him in everything and he started to come out of his shell.
Episode 8
It was Sports Day. Someone put Nan Xi’s name to run the relay. Cheng Er Lou, Yi Shu and Xia Rui did everything to convince the teacher to remove his name but in the end, Nan Xi said he will run.
Nan Xi did very well and run so fast towards the waiting arms of Xia Rui at the end of the line. He won for their team and he got a gold medal for his effort which he gave to Xia Rui. She put the medal into the box of little things that Nan Xi had given her.
Episode 9
Nan Xi spent the day with Xia Rui looking after her young brother. The brother complained that he doesn’t have an inspiration for his drawing homework so Nan Xi said he knew just the place for inspiration. He took them on a trek to a pagoda on top of the mountain which overlook the whole city.
In the end the brother drew his sister and Nan Xi falling asleep next to each other.
Episode 10
Xia Rui started hanging out with Liu Bin which upsets Nan Xi.
Episode 11
Students were doing a rebellion against the coming of age ceremony. Many of the boys were confessing to girls as it was prohibited to have an underage love affair before it becomes legal in a few days.
Nan Xi and Xia Rui celebrated the ceremony by staying by the mountainside to see the sunrise together. They promised that they will stay together forever.
Episode 12
It was a New Year’s party at school and the students had to make a presentation.
Nanxi, Xia Rui, Er Luo and Yi Shou were doing a musical piece but Xia Rui was not there so Nanxi went to look for her and found her running a fever alone in the house.
He ministered to her and was there for her all night long till she got better and until her grandparents got back the next morning.
Xia Rui woke up and was very happy to receive a birthday present from Nanxi. She thought no one remembered her birthday.
Episode 13
Xia Rui is so proud of Nanxi that when Professor Gu of Binhai University visited their school, she did everything for the professor to notice Xia Rui.
The professor was impressed when he saw the birthday backpack made by Nanxi for XiaRui. The professor said that he will be waiting for Nanxi at Binhain Independent Site.
Nanxi was less impress, in fact, he said he would not go to Binhai if Xia Rui can’t get to any university nearby.
Episode 14
Nanxi, Yi Shou and Xia Rui went to take the exam at Binhai in their respective courses.
Poor Xia Rui stumble in her poem so she did not pass the entrance exam for broadcasting.
Nanxi immediately binned his acceptance letter to the shock of his schoolmates. He said that he will go where Xia Rui goes.
She was so touched but she said that she still has a chance until the common examination.
Xia Rui went to buy exam notes and was determined to tutor her. All her friends decided to help as well.
Episode 15
Xia Rui studied like she had never before but alas, she still did not get to broadcasting at Binhai as her score was 449, one point below the passing rate for the course.
But Nanxi devised a plan, instead of broadcasting, Xia Rui will study Hotel Management.
The two made a very strong presentation to Xia Rui’s mother who had an agreement with Xia Rui that is she does manage to get to broadcasting, then she will be studying abroad.
At first the mother thought that Nanxi would asked her permission to marry Xia Rui. 🙂 So cute.
Episode 16
Nanxi had changed a lot. When leaving for university, he gave his surprised mother a big hug and told her that if she misses him, she can telephone him anytime. ahhhh
It was a completely different new environment in the university.
Xia Rui completely took over settling Nanxi in.
She thought that the boys’ dorm was too barbaric of Nanxi so she got him an apartment outside the university.
He really wanted to live with her but she thought she should stay at the dorm.
First day in class for him was daunting with so many strangers around him.
Then another boy came into the class who was like him. He was Gao Ting, shy and anti-social just like Nanxi.
Episode 17
Nanxi bought a CCTV that he intended to put outside his bedroom door. For some reason, this upset Xia Rui.
Of course, Nanxi promised not to install it.
Nanxi’s class had been assigned a group work project. Though his classmates wanted him to be in their group, he refused to join.
Then he started stressing about it and of course, Xia Rui had to solve it and so she did but another guy, Gao Ting, was also having the same problem as Nanxi.
Pity for him, he doesn’t have a Xia Rui of his own.
Episode 18
Awww It is so cute. Finally, Nanxin confessed to her and said that the house is their home. He showed her a painting depicting the two of them in their home.
They were about to kiss but Xia Rui’s mother called to say that she had to look after her brother.
She will pay her with the going rates.
Episode 19
Little Brother is so cute but a bit of a handful. This scenario really does not make sense. Why would you ask your daughter who was in university to babysit her brother?
Anyway, the mother said that she finished her business early and was now ready to collect young Chen Gao.
Er Luo can’t understand why Yi Shou was upset with him. He told her that it was time to find herself a boyfriend.
This upset Yi Shou because she was hoping Er Luo would be her boyfriend.
Episode 20
Nanxi had an etiquette lesson where he had to learn to dance with a partner. He did not want to do it at first but Yang Yu Fei came to the rescue.
Yang Yu Fei used to have a crush on Nanxi.
Xia Rui said that she was not bothered but she was because it was Yang Yu Fei.
Episode 21
Xia Rui followed the coffee map that Nanxi and her young brother made for her.
The end of the trail was a coffee shop now run by her old boss, Yi Ze. With him was Liu Bin who fancies YangYu Fei.
Xia Rui managed to get herself a part-time job at the cafe but had to dash off because her dorm was closing the door.
Anyway, she missed it so she had to stay with Nanxi, who teased her about sharing the same bed – not.
Episode 22
Xia Rui and Nanxi had to get used to co-habiting. She is not very domesticated and he wanted all the things in their proper place.
When Yushu and Erluo commented that it looks like they would end up breaking up.
Xia Rui and Nanxi said ‘never’ simultaneously.
Yi Ze gave the invitation to WBC to Xia Rui to represent their coffee shop.
Xia Rui was not too enthusiastic about it but Nanxi told her to try her best, he would go with her to Jiangzhou.
Meanwhile, there is also a contest at the architectural department and the winner will be sent to Italy.
nan xi said he was not interested.
Episode 23
The coffee machine Xia Rui’s mother promised had arrived.
Xia Rui made Nanxin drink various types of coffees. In the end they both suffered. They can’t sleep and had to go to the toilet all night.
Xia Rui had to go to the contest without Nanxin who had an examination that day.
Xia Rui progressed to the next level of the contest. Nanxin decided to give in his test paper without finishing it and went to see Xia Rui’s contest.
Xia Rui did not win but she was offered to go to Italy to become a professional barrista.
Episode 24
Nanxin wanted Xia Rui to go to Italy and he with her so he told Professor Gu that he wanted to participate in the contest afterall.
Professor Gu was mildly surprised but supportive of Nanxin.
Gao Ting was not happy that Nanxin was doing the contest as well. He told him that he was always second to Nanxin but he will win the contest.
Nanxin just told him to go for it which only irritated Gao Ting.
500 Years ago the Enchanted Memorial Pillar started to collapsed and the encased immemorial Demon Sword within it was released.
The Demon sword has the power to summon every swordsman in the land for a battle to the death. This caused so much upheaval in the lives of ordinary people that the dominion was in chaos.
Emperor Cang did his best to end the war but perished with his soldiers in the battle. Before his death, he willed to find his successor.
Empress Huang, the wife of Emperor Xi, was the Sword Guard Lady, intervened at the chaotic ongoing war of swords. She was able to temporarily seal the demon sword back into the enchanted memorial pillar. However, the task was too great which caused Lady Huang’s death.
Emperor Xi was so aggrieved with the death of his beloved wife. He blamed Emperor Cang for it. He was bent on revenge that he turned to the dark side and become the demon emperor.
Years later the Jiuhua School was established to train cultivators and find the successor of Emperor Cang.
Jiuhua has the Four School which accepts students after undergoing rigorous examinations. However, as what can be expected, there are rules for the rich and rules for the not so rich.
The elite families have a recommended quota of up to 4 students who are guaranteed admittance.
However, these students are looked down upon as they are deemed to be not good enough to have foregone to take the exam. One of these students was supposed to be Xin Wentian, who was known for having a blind pulse.
An open pulse could attain levels of cultivation, just like Bai Qiu Xue.
Bai Qiu Xue was unofficially engaged to Wen Tian, who helped her opened her pulse through acupuncture. She was able to break into the third heaven and reach the star soul.
The experience gave her thirst to go even further to fourth heaven, which Wentian discouraged her to do as she was not strong enough to do so yet.
Her ambition was such that when her Uncle Cheng told her that Wentian was not good enough for her as he has blind pulse, Qiu Xue was easily convinced.
But her young sister overheard that Uncle Cheng ordered that Wentian should be killed.
She tried to warn Wentian who by then was put under house arrest.
Wentian managed to get out but he was chased until he ended up falling from a cliff.
Meanwhile, a young infanta entered the court of the king to inform him that her father was taking a sick-day. LOL
The ministers were really scandalised that a woman entered the court. They said that it was an abomination to have a female in court.
But the infanta said to chill because there was precedence before her, they should look in their annals.
Anyway, the king is very ill and the crown prince it too young to sit on the throne so the Prince Empire Frontier was made as the Prince Regent.
The Four School examination is about to happen.
The infanta was bored at home so she ran away to take the Four School exam.
Olivia Wang looks lovely in her costume. It really suits her, no pun intended. LOL
Episode 2
There are four elite families in the empire: the Qin, Mo, Yi, and Bai.
An astrologer/astronomer looking up the sky foretold that the Yi Country will never be at peace again.
Wentian, meanwhile, was able to find a haven in a cave where he recuperated by someone opened his blind pulse.
He was the successor to Emperor Cang that everyone had been looking for.
The guard of Star Soul Stone guided him to connect with the power of the stone which has imbedded itself to Wentian’s heart.
But for Wentian to gain its power or for the stone to accept him, Wentian had to fight a golden bull.
Wentian through his cultivation managed to defeat the bull which crumbled into fragments and created a golden hammer.
The master of the stone, Master Hei told Wentian that he had reached the 5th Heaven level. He strongly advised Wentian to make sure never to reveal to anyone what had just happened for his own protection and of the stone.
He also gave a magical scripture to Wentian that he must learn from and protect at all costs.
Misfortune and happiness are related.

It was the exam day for the Four School: Holy Wind School, Royal School, Seven Starter School and Jiuhua.
There are several attendees who would like to compete and climb the legendary Overlord Terrace. Only very few can go up the top and even fewer who can bang the gong.
The students started up the climb most of them stopped at level six but Bai Qiu Xue managed up to level 10 and then she was forced down.
Despite not finishing, Qiu Xue was still much lauded. He uncle was so proud and announced that the engagement made between the Qin and the Bai is now null and void. Qiu Xue could not be married to the inferior Qin.
Among the spectators, was Qing Chen who was curious about what was going on. Also, there was Wentian.
Wentian revealed himself and told the Baicheng that he can insult him but not the Qin. He then said that he will climb up the Overlord Terrace.
His Qin foster father begged him not to do is as it could be fatal for him with his blind pulse.
Wentian, of course, knew better and proceeded to climb. Everyone was surprised when they saw him climbing each step in a fairly comfortable manner until he got to the top level. Suddenly he was not moving.
Qing Chen who was watching from a balcony decided to give him a push by melding with his mind. She was like a breath of fresh air that Wentian got destructed from what was holding him to move. With a few more steps with the beautiful Qing Chen he was by the gong.
Now, everyone told him that he could not bang the gong as it was beyond his experience and ability.
But Wentian bang the gong anyway, the decibel was mindblowing that the people around the terrace where affected.
Wentian was wondering who the woman who came into his ‘mind’.
Wentian was offered by the four schools of a place in their class but Wentian opted to go to Jiuhua, which did not offer a place to Qiu Xue because of her attitude.
Episode 3
I am beginning to love this drama.
The Crown Prince was under house arrest so escaped to Jiuhua School where he met Wentian, Qingchen, and Fan Le.
Episode 4
It was the final exam for the students which took place at the enchanted Dark Forest.
Wentian and Qingchen were getting closer but almost sabotaged by Qiu Xue who tried to play the weak maiden and fell on Wentian’s arms seen by Qingchen.
Qingchen did not disturb them but an assassin was waiting for her.
On her first scream, Wentian was there recuing her completely forgetting Qiu Xue.
Wentian promised Qingchen that he will always protect her.
It seems Qingchen has a very important role in the Jiuhua School. The school dean said that it was probably time to recruit Qingchen to be a night watcher.
Wentian and Qingchen’s group had been challenged by the other section at the Jiuhua school.
Episode 5
Qiu Xue is not bad enough, Bai Qing, her sister, had sneaked herself at the Jiuhua school to see Wentian.
Wentian made a beautiful golden dagger for Qingchen. It was a bit of a fail for the prop because it was so obvious that it was made of plastic.
The sweet Bai Qing had turned into an annoying girl who clung to Wentian all the time and who got jealous of Qingchen.
She saw that Wentian and Qingchen having a sweet moment so she decided to go home in a huff and was attacked by a demon vampire.
Episode 6
Qingchen was taken ill because she was somehow connected to the Enchanted Pillar.
Her family knew hat her time is nigh but they won’t tell her the secret.
Ruohuan did well during the contest and Fan Le fell under her spell.
It was the Galaxy Conundrum test. Wentian failed it at first but Qingchen had come back to the college and help him to see the bigger picture.
Then he got it.
The poor crown prince is hunted down by soldiers, they would have trapped him if his friend Boozer did not suddenly materialised.
Boozer told him that he had to take the crown so he would not be hounded all the time.
The CP told Boozer that he does not have any interest of becoming the king.
Meanwhile, poor Qing had not been really missed despite disappearing.
Grandpa sacrificed himself tot he enchanted pillar so everyone could have more time.
Episode 7
Grandpa sacrificed himself to the enchanted pillar which was felt by the masters at Jiuhua School.
Fan Le invited Qingyan and Wentian to go drinking. Later on the CP turned up as well. They drank to each other and then the next thing they knew was they were fighting for their lives.
Fan Le died and so did the CP. Wentian took all the arrows meant for Qingyan. Then they woke up from the same dream.
Qingyan realised that they were in the Dream Forest.
Meanwhile, the missing Bai Qin was in the cave, hostage of the Demon Emperor of the Night.
He told her that he was not going to hurt her. In fact, he was going to help her save her beloved Wentian. He then gave her a jar of medication to remove the star soul stone form inside Wentian which the demon said was killing Wentian.
Finally, the Mo clan asked Qingyan if she wanted to join the Night Hunters and she agreed. She had her first kill as a night hunter, it was a demon who killed a caller Man.
The freshman students are preparing for their coming annual tournament.
Awww! Cutie! Zhang Ling He has a follow-up drama already even before Maiden Holmes is halfway showing.
Apparently, the story is about two freshman students, one studying sport and the other a gamer.

Anyway, Wei Wei despite turning Dai Xi request at first is now more enthusiastic than Dai Xi. She started stalking Si Cong.
Dai Xi and her followed him and she used her power over him. But as she was electrifying him, he turned around and promptly fell for her instead of Dai Xi.
