Episode 1
Chen Wen Guang, the Vice President of Mingtan Law Office was arrested for illegal dealing.
Chen Ran, who works as a lawyer in Mingtan is Chen Wen Guang’s daughter.
Li Gong Ming asked Xu Jie to come to Mingtan to investigate Chen Wen Guang’s case but she has to work as an intern.
Xu Jie’s arrival was pretty eventful because she ended up at the police station being a witness to a fight that started when two guys were sexually harassing a girl.
Song Xiu was asked by Li Gong Ming to fetch Xu Jie from the police station.
Song Xiu could not believe how drop-dead gorgeous Xu Jie was.
Episode 2
Song Xiu could not believe his luck because in no time they were already in some kind of relationship.
Xu Jie told Song Xiu not to get excited because it was just casual.
Xu Jie noticed immediately that Chen Ran was being maligned at work by her colleagues because of the arrest of her father.
Episode 3
Jian Pei Ran is married to Chen Ran. He just told her that he wanted to transfer to another branch of his firm in Northeast China, far away from home, but it meant he will be promoted to being a director.
Of course, Chen Ran would not agree at first but Jian Pei Ran was insistent.
Jian Pei Ran was in touch again with a former schoolmate called Xiaoran who was encouraging him to go for the promotion in the Northeast.
Episode 4
Song Xiu called on Xu Jie one evening for something really urgent.
Thinking that it was a real emergency, Xu Jie went with him in just a white shirt and brief shorts which Song Xiu think was too informal.
Anyway, Song Xiu took Xu Jie to a plush restaurant. The emergency turned out to be personal because he handed Xu Jie an envelope containing his debit card, bank book and property deed, and car keys.
Song Xiu told Xu Jie that she could manage his finance as he would like to keep her.
Xu Jie laughed but was rather touched as innocently lovely Song Xiu was.
Being obsessed with collecting coins, Su Jie used a coin to decide whether Song Xiu could pursue her.
As luck would have it, the coin agreed positively.
